Need help here,
So, i flashed .eu 9 on Mi6, all went normally, all good, i put it in the charger at night.
In the morning of today, i woke up with my phone DEAD connected in the charger (the original with original cable)
When i connect in any charger, the notification LED blinks, BUT MY PHONE DOESN'T TURN ON, IT DOESN'T BOOT! No matter what button i press
When it's not on the charger, he does nothing.
Can someone tell WTF happened and how to solve this?
I'm exactly at the same situation.
Hardbricked after Miui9 update.
Device is detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 on PC, but Miflash fails with errors:
- cannot receive hello packet
- try to reset status

I resolved my issue disabling driver signature enforcement and reinstalling qualcomm drivers that come with Miflash.
For further instructions please follow this link:

In my case was important to do it even if windows device manager recognize my device correctly, and miflash detected my mobile.

To use Mi Flash Tool you need to download Fastboot ROM. The Fastboot ROM extension's file are .tar, .gz*or.tgz.
But if you bootloader is still locked you need to boot in EDL mode, not fastboot mode.

my phone is Redmi note 5 AI (China version), still Locked. but i'm so stupid. i used Xiaomi Tool to flash from China Stable (miui9 9.5.22) to China Dev (Miui10 8.5.7), and now my phone is Hard Brick. Screen is dark, no fastboot, no recovery, can't power on, no charging LED. i knew i stuck in EDL because when i plug in to PC, it's recognized "Qualcomm ... 9008". i used Miflash but it had error:"read hello packet" or "cannot receive hello packet". Then i remove phone's back cover and Test Point, but i had another error :" cannot read port COM" or "the file name,....... Open Programmer.....". I tried all Miflash and rom version, with another way like change folder name shorter, use mifash beta, run as..., ..... but it's still not working now.
The worst case is the problem with mainboard and i hope not.
I'm obstructive now. Please help me

I got the exact same problem. Description fits! Did you guys solve the problem?
Flash using QFIL and cracked firehose fix this, I was tried on 4 hardbricked Whyred AI and all of them working fine till today..

It still doesn't boot after successful flashing.

Device manager does show it in Qualcomm 9008 mode. Can someone please post the Qfil file for this device. Or if anyone knows a way to get it out of this mode, I would appreciate a response/fix. It belongs to a friend of mine. I don't know what he did to it. he claims he tried to update it. Device was rooted but it shouldn't have bricked. Usually OTA update throws up an error and reboots while rooted. However in this case, it is stuck in edl with black screen. Needs QFIL file for this.
I am also in the same problem I put my EDL device but I know what I did type of my device red magic 5g global version Regarding red magic play 5g and I installed it on my device and the device became in the event of EDL and does not respond to all attempts, so what should I do and I am currently searching for unbrick red magic 5g and need it if it is available with you or another solution if it gets us out of EDL mode
There's no way out of edl mode, without an unbrick tool.

Hi, Same issue, no fix yet, waiting for Bricktool.
From what i have heard, nubia will be waiting a long time before releasing the tool. Anyone who is bricked, is out of luck for a long time.
is there any improvement?

Hello, I have the unbrick tool for RedMagic 5G and RedMagic 5G lite. You can repair your phone in edl mode. I am going to post it on the XDA forum, please follow me.

Dear, it useless for me i contact you without real response, my phone was completely dead even its not recognized by the usb port i need a tool or a trick like jtag test port to force the device to switched on
I was on root mode when i upgraded my redmagic 5g the screen went black doesnt turn on when i conect it to pc it make sound but ADB FASTBOOT doesnt recognize it please help

You bricked, just booting to edl??? You sure, your not just stuck in edl? Press power and vol down for a while, until it reboots.
My phone was rooted and then I updated it by mistake. Now the phone connects but no fastboot

can you enter fastboot mode,
edl mode is no good its locked,
did you flashed correct version global, Eu etc
try this stupid steps too discharge battery or remove from phone and install again, now connect charger

well i discharge battery and this did not help. i put the correct global rom i did it some times before 2. i think i need some1 with edl account for reflash :/
