I've seen that Huawei Ascend Mate 2 can charge other phones thorugh a compatible cable. Can I find such a cable for my Samsung smartphone?
Thanks.

You should be able to use any USB cable that has micro USB tips on both ends. Look for a male-to-male micro USB cable.
Not any cable, you need to get USB OTG cable, cost a few dollars on ebay or Amazon. It has micro-usb connector on one side (which goes to your phone) and full size female usb connector on the other side to connect any device (usb stick, mouse, keyboard, ext hard drive). Just make sure your phone supports USB OTG. Typically all the latest Galaxy phones should. That cable, usb on-the-go (OTG) has two pins shorted inside and turns your phone into a host so you can connect other peripheral devices, such as the one I listed above. And while it does that, it provides 5V power through USB bus like any usb host (your laptop or PC). As a result, you can charge other phones or devices from your smartphone. Just keep in mind, it will drain your battery
This is very useful, for example, if you have Note 2 with 9600 mAh Zerolemon extended battery (in my case), and use your phone to charge other devices with extra juice

Can't use usb otg feature when usb is connected thru a magnetic cable adopter. Help!

So I recently bought a magnetic cable adopter, It has two parts an android micro usb head and the body where it can connect to the usb head with the use of magnet and the other side is a micro usb port the body also has a led indicator.
Given that my phone is usb otg capable, when I connect my usb to the micro usb port at the body of adopter my phone can't read it.
Is this a hardware problem where the magnetic adopter is not capable of reading other devices eg. Usb, mouse, keyboard etc. and only supports charging?
Or can I still use the usb otg features by using a 'usb otg cable Y'?
Or is there other way?
Sadly I can't try usb otg Y since I haven't bought any and want to make sure it will work before I buy.
Feel free to ask more information if it's not sufficient enough. Thanks!
OTG + Magnetic cable
Same problem but at least I know that OTG can (should?) work through a magnetic cable as I have another device on which it does.

You should be able to use any cable with it, as the power bank will not support Warp charging. The OP cable requirement only applies to their chargers to get maximum speed.

Accessories usb a to type c adapter recommendations

Hi all,
As per title, can anyone recommend a good quality usb a to type c adapter so that I can do data transfer between laptop and 9 pro? , as there's no tyoe c port on the laptop. Thanks
i've had good luck with Choetech from Amazon
Yeah I picked up some cheap ones on Amazon that do the trick just fine. I don't remember, but does OnePlus provide a USB to usb-c dongle in the box like Google does for their pixel phones?
The one from the 8 pro is what I use and thankfully working since a couple others I tried didn't work.
Use OnePlus cable Usb A to Usb C.
I have usb type C on my laptop, but is for charging...

Question PCIe 2-Port USB3.1 Gen2 Card

I have tried USB-A to USB-C cable on my computer but the only thing that works with the cable is windows file transfers, in fastboot it just never connects to the device, i have used my GFs PC that has a native USB-C port in the front to do my fastboot commands and it works just fine.
My PC dont have USB-C and my motherboard is this : Asus Tuf Z390 Plus Gaming Wifi
The case is a Be Quiet : PURE BASE 500 Black
I have tried all the back USB-A ports and the 2 in the front same results.
I wonder if this PCI-E Card can help me use my fasboot commands on my computer or is just a faster transfers i get with it?
ST Lab PCIe 3.0 USB3.1 2-Port (Type-C)
Tried using another A-C cable? Might be the cable itself is faulty

You might want to try out another cable. Sometimes they just suck.

I have 10 different cables that are USB-A to USB-C, maybe they all suck, but the original Pixel 6 Pro USB-C to USB-C is good, maybe you can advise me on a good USB-A to USB-C cable?

Anything by Anker. Edit: Be aware that last I looked, they also sell USB 2.0 USB-A<->USB-C cables, so I just want to give you a heads up to look out for that and I'm sure you'd want to only buy a USB 3.0 USB-A<->USB-C cable.
Also, I don't know if the recommendation is still the same, but it was always advised in the old days to prefer USB ports that are built into the motherboard - sometimes even more specifically on the back of the motherboard (for desktops). I know this doesn't help you, but just "let the buyer beware" that using an add-on USB-C card could also cause problems.

Do you have the latest USB drivers installed?
And like others have said, try different cables. Can't tell you how many times I've seen this problem solved just by using different cables.
Get the Google USB Driver | Android Studio | Android Developers
The Google USB Driver is required to perform adb debugging on Windows with Google devices.

Its not your hardware, its your operating system. Try a better one, i.e. Linux.

I highly recommend Anker cables like this: USB Type C Cable, Anker PowerLine+ USB C to USB 3.0 Cable (6ft), High Durability, for Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8, S8+, S9, S10, Sony XZ, LG V20 G5 G6, HTC 10, Xiaomi 5 and More.
Double-check Anker's site too in case they have a better sale price right now.
