我用twrp3.2.1刷入这个zip后重启还是twrp，解出img来用trwp app刷进recovery分区也一样。系统用的是马大官改，没有刷你的pt。
I flashed this zip file via twrp 3.2.1 , but reboot to recovery still gets twrp 3.2.1 working on it. the same thing happened using twrp app to flash unpacked img file. I haven't flashed your project treble yet.

检查你的刷入分区，如果还是不行，获取root后用工具箱类的app试试。
Check the partition you flashing in, if still error, try to flash via some app tool after getting root permission.

I finally made it work by flashing via computer through fastboot. but now I'm facing another problem, it shows my data patition is encrypted, but I don't know the password. I'm using gesture lockscreen and fingerprint in Android. my device has been rooted via magisk.

If you forget your password, you need to format userdata partition.

I'm install through newest twrp as img and working great. Awesome job on original twrp some kernels won't let me get into twrp. On Orangefox is OK.

I know my passwords, but not that secret key I even have no idea about when my phone encrypted /data by itself...

I didn't support dm-verify in OrangeFox, so you could only format it.

On the Pie-V3.3.1-V1 variant of OrangeFox I'm noticing some strange issues.
Some scripts cannot properly mount or unmount /system, with all kinds of excuses such as "device or resource busy", or just outright "no such file or directory"... It can also happen after a nandroid backup. While mostly harmless, sometimes it can cause addon.d to break (such as OpenGApps and Magisk) and I need to manually flash back things that addon.d should have guaranteed their survival at that time.
For now it can be worked around by flashing only one zip at a time and reboot to recovery to flash my next one.
By the way, it seems backing up/restoring the entire system image is safer than only the contents of the system partition, as back then with stock ROM (eXistenZ) I noticed that if I back up only the contents of system partition with TWRP then restoring it later, the system would bootloop at Sony logo, whereas restoring a backup of entire system image would boot fine.

What is MIUI OTA? I did see it mentioned something about XiaoMi or MIUI but I remember it said "DISABLED".
After all, I'm not flashing anything XiaoMi or MIUI related (I'm flashing just LOS, OpenGApps, Magisk and modules).

It's in settings and "MIUI OTA" is enabled by default.
I confirmed this issue, but I had no idea to solve it now. And the core function of OrangeFox is fine. You can compare my device tree with OrangeFox official devices'. We may lack of some blob or have some wrong settings

I can confirm the MIUI OTA was enabled. However, disabling it has no effect regarding the failures in handling the /system partition. Also, it seems the recovery can determine whether the package is a MIUI OTA, as I recall it says MIUI OTA support DISABLED when flashing ROM zips such as LOS.
When mount/unmount operations on /system fails, the error usually reads "device or resource busy". Guess something is locking the system partition for too long.
While the issue doesn't impact much when flashing zips, it can potentially prevent addon.d scripts from succeeding causing loss of certain OTA survival capable components such as OpenGApps and Magisk.
EDIT: Also, when the "device or resource busy" error occurs, I also can't mount/unmount system partition from the Mount screen.
EDIT 2: It seems the Orangefox tree uses a prebuilt kernel... is that kernel image also overclocked? It appears the phone would overheat while in recovery, and the overheated state would carry over and cause freezes/reboots due to the SoC hit certain power/thermal thresholds, as the logcat is simply cut off without anything implying kernel panics or fatal errors.

there is an aosp a11 rom for maple now and i really need the magisk manager recovery that orangefox provides!

ok i cant get this to work,
ive used your device tree to build with three different kernels and it compiles every time. i can flash it and it boots ok, but touchscreen doesnt work so i cant get into recovery.
is there something i need to do to get touchscreen working before i build?

Stock RMX1991 Recovery
To Flash the TWRP:
if it's the first time you flash the TWRP or you are getting problems of TWRP lost or device doesn't boot after flashed magisk or something else you need to flash a script to patch your vbmeta:
VBMETA PATCHER
To flash the TWRP:

Then reboot in TWRP manually.
Flash the VBMETA PATCHER and reboot.
REMEMBER: is important that from fastboot you directly go in TWRP mode or the TWRP will be overwritten.

So for other devs or people who need the decryption key, i already made a pull request for oppo_ozip_decrypt by bkerler: https://github.com/bkerler/oppo_ozip_decrypt/pull/31
I will attach a script already modified by me (Credits to bkerler). The script is in the zip, just unpack it
The decryption key is "1c4a11a3a12589ae441a23bb31517733" i extracted it from an .ofp rom for the RMX1991.
Now i'm trying to backupping stock recoveries with some testers.
This TWRP is not tested, so use it carefully.
TWRP tested and working, added a bit of screen in the first post

Stock ROM does not rewrite it (good!).
SD card is not working (this option is simply absent).
Reboot to EDL, System, Recovery, Power Off, data decryption - all work.
I thought there should be screen off feature...

I just tried magisk canary build, and i cannot replace build.prop just to let everyone know, Magisk still in core-only mode.

What we can do.
Make a dd image from system.
Mount it inside linux.
Change build.prop
Flash system.img in system partition with fastboot

Just unmount system from mount menu or reboot the twrp in twrp and try again

after flash TWRP, 1st into twrp, the screen will show "Mount Decrypt Data" "Enter Password", I had try to click "cancel" button, that can into the TWRP, but when restart system then reboot into recovery, that will back to original recovery, the TWRP recovery is not workable

One bug I see - time is wrong (mistake in 12 hours)
It seems to me, some options are missing (like turning screen off - screen saver, so to say)

If you're planning to install a custom rom, any custom recovery should work, including this one.
The main advantage of using this recovery is that you can bypass the stock rom (maybe stock based roms too) force encryption to access your partitions on recovery.

Which recovery did you used before this? And what's your rom?
For the first time i used LR.Team's recovery i installed recovery, did a format data(due to the password issue as you), installed miui global and magisk and the system booted properly and after that recovery didn't asked for password anymore and i've been able to mount partitions and do other stuff.

I can't flash gapps using this twrp, fix it please

I'm not the dev behind this project, i'm just sharing wzsx150's work in an easier way to download. You can contact him on the source link at the bottom of OP.
I only tested this twrp with stock rom which doesn't need gapps and encountered no issues.

same here but the custom roms that doesn't include gapps sucks, that's the problem with this twrp it cant flash gapps, thanks for the response bro.

Development [RECOVERY] [12] [OFFICIAL] TeamWin Recovery Project

Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch driven user interface , no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Key Features:
Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
Onscreen keyboard
Easy selection of internal/external storage
In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.
We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open source project.

Decryption is working
Installation:
1. fastboot boot twrp.img
2. go to Advanced > Flash Current TWRP
3. after that is done, if you were using a custom kernel, reflash it now
4. if you were using magisk, reflash it now
Updating to a newer build:
1. download new build to internal storage
2. go to Advanced > Install Recovery Ramdisk
3. select the new image
4. after that is done, if you were using a custom kernel, reflash it now
5. if you were using magisk, reflash it now

I believe that rom has customized encryption, so it's not supported

Damn.. I will wait for any officially supported custom ROM then so I could just get OTAs, I dont want to do another wipe and setup lol. thx anyway

answering my own question: you have to unlock the phone first with MIUI unlock tool.
AND unlocking involves wiating on part of xiaomi site afer registering ...can be even 7 days..

Hello I am not sure I didn't mess around with the job !!
Firstly, I have copied the twrp image on my device but the twrp didn't see it, so I have plugged an otg device with the file on it.
Now twrp is installed but it can't decrypt data (ask for password)
What is wrong pls ?
Secondly, when I have solved that, could I backup the boot.img with Twrp to be then patched with the Magisk installer app ?
Is it the best way to have Magisk on my device ?

So it asked for password, did you enter it?
As for magisk, just flash latest magisk apk with twrp

The password is ur security PIN for unlocking ur phone.
No idea about backuping the boot.img in TWRP (I am not using it )

I have entered a password but it failed. Is it a free password ?
EDIT : It's ok, sorry. the security PIN, of course !!!
