Lindy 5A/10GBPS/USB 3.1 Gen 2 (3.2 Gen 1) Cable availability - OnePlus 7 Pro Accessories

OK so I didn't receive the OEM cable / charger when I purchased the phone.
Besides that however it would be nice to get the "proper" cables to maximize the
6A (30W) charging
and
USB 3.1 Gen 2 throughput (10 gbps)
The other threads are expired and seem to either match one or the other.
Although quite pricey this cable apparently performs a 5A + (100w) + USB 3.2 (3.1 Gen2) speeds!
https://www.lindy.co.uk/cables-adap...b-3-1-type-c-to-a-cable-5a-anthra-line-p11704
In fact if you search this companies database they have a few options I haven't seen with a different brands.
Of course this TITACUTE (seriously that's a name haha).... does 6A @ 5V for max WARP charging. (apparently)
https://www.amazon.com/TITACUTE-One...b+c+6a+cable&qid=1566255921&s=wireless&sr=1-3
1) Does anyone know if the Titacute charger can perform at full speed with the aftermarket charger they sell with the same ratings.
2) Is there any cable that can actually do the 6A + 10\gbps speeds. For the ultimate cable for our devices.
ohh I am only looking for A-C not C-C (problem is that is outside of certified ratings such that it isn't really available yet.
3) With the advent of 3.2 20 gbps last year and the present computer lineup is debuting these features. Are there any 3.2 Gen 2 + cables anywhere yet. (the 20 gbps rated ones. btw)
Thanks will be given to all that help this research endeavor.
Ohh and thank me if this is helpful. My rating sucks. Thanks

I have a Rexin charger that I got from amazon for ~$22 that Warp charges.

looking for a cable support warp charge is not hard
but a cable support both warp charge and 10 Gbps is hard
i just ordered this https://www.cablematters.com/pc-890...-c-to-usb-a-gen-2-10-gbps-cable-33-ft-1m.aspx to test the 10 Gbps, but this cable only support 15W
and the Lindy brand you posted i didnt see it in the USB IF certificate page

Lord AJ said:
This cable from Titacute worked great for me. It's 6-ft long, and data-transfer and warp charging works perfectly!
However, I used it with the original charger after I lost my cable. Cannot really say how well it will work with an aftermarket charger without knowing the specifications of the charger itself. That being said, if the charger you buy has the same specs as the one by OnePlus, then the cable should serve you well.
Hope this helps.

Can you confirm 10 Gbps or 3.1 gen 2 or 3.2 gen 1 support. Or 100 MB/s approximately..
I imagine you got full 30 watt charging at only 5gps 50 mb/s can you prove this wrong. Thanks.

5Gbps (USB 3.1 gen 1) transfers at about 450 MB/s not 50 MB/s.

Your totally right I should have added 0's there so 500 and 100 MB/s

https://www.cablematters.com/pc-890...-c-to-usb-a-gen-2-10-gbps-cable-33-ft-1m.aspx
because the copy speed didnt show so i dont know the speed
i copy same file from my phone to my Surface Pro 5, file size 2GB, from phone -> SP took 25s, from SP -> phone took 15s, so basically 90MB/s ~ 130 MB/s
but when i use this cable with my SSD with my SP, the speed reach ~300MB/s
so.... i dont know, apparently 7P only support 5Gb/s, on theory lol
maybe i need to test with another computer

what is your favorite fast charger for the le max 2?

Hello guys,

Do you guys all think that the OEM charger from LeEco is the best considering the charging speed or did you find even faster solutions?
Curious for your answers!

Dear collegue. I am yet waiting for my X822. Maybe you could give me some information how long does it take you to fully charge your X820 from 0% and are you satisfied?
regards Olek
If the phone is off, I need about 1h30min. to full charge it when it is not in quick charge. First time I used QC and the phone heated up so that's why I know use the normall method.
For me it takes 1h20min with phone on and the capacity of the battery is correct measured with small USB tool. Fast charging is sometimes 8V and 2.5 A.

got the X822 aka the grey version in transit, couldnt resist it at 222US, ewen thow im not in the market for new mobile, allready pretty satified with the p8max that i like a lot and that dont got any quickcharge tech at all afaik, other then just plain 1.9amp charge cycle., according to my YZXstudio1270 meter, but the 4300mah takes here around 2.15 hour to fill, but slowing down massive the last 5 to 10% like the norm.
that tempo is fine by me, but have also purchased the Vinsic P3 terminator with QC and type C in & out. intended for the X822. seemed reasonable at 28US and with product-specs that shouldnt be to fare for real-world according to reviews.
JUst wondering if you can trick QC3.0 trigger on other devices, got an relative old usb trigger for QC, but no QC phones or at least chargers to check if 9v and 12v can be optainable and be used for ones 12v coreM tablet, just like that and push of an button..
anyway certainly looking forward for my first entry into my first QC device Lemax2 X822 and not least typeC.. LeMax2 lookzs wicked in grey. .:good:

You are sure that the quick charge is actually off.?
when checking on mine X822 and turning the knob in setting < battery < quick charge' to not active.
it still display the same voltage and above +6v to around 9v dynamic.. (its the same when the phone is off)
its like the "quick charge off function" doesnt do anything at all. (am on stock X822 assume its 16s EUI'build)
if you got an usb-meter, try to measure if the voltage actually stays around usb 5v level when turning the quick charge off. (mine it doesnt on stock QC charger)
// digitalnasarma it was on AliE ref CB.

According to qualcomm, it is. My le max 2 shipped with charger EQ-24BUS.
https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list
I'd like a charger for night-time charging. Does anyone know if there are ill effects by leaving your phone on quick charge for extended periods and doing so daily?
And would one risk damaging this phone by using any other 'regular' charger?
Any charger should be safe, just make sure the cable you use has Pullup resistor of 56kΩ, without that 56k chip all kinds of stuff can go wrong. usb A to usb C is a really bad setup and you'll need that chip for protection..
Thanks castuis. Best thing I learned today This (and this thread w/charger links) is good to have.
So Which charger and cable are the best for the price? Original or something else. And where to buy with shiping to EU?
https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/s0Inv
This is by far the best way to buy cables and chargers. You will learn way more than you ever wanted about USB accessories.
I bought the multi pack of Orzly cables , they are the best, relatively cheap... Sturdy.... And won't burn up your phone/house.

Right, but those links mostly focus on USB C standard, not QuickCharge 3.0, which I believe technically violates USB C standards. I'd still suggest sticking to cables confirmed to have the correct pull-up resistor, and if you want to use USB power delivery rather than QuickCharge technology you can also stick to chargers and power banks from that list. I think QuickCharge 2.0/3.0 will still charge faster than USB power delivery though, in which you probably won't find them on that list.
In any case, I bought an 1 port Aukey QuickCharge 3.0 car charger and it seems to work well to charge up to 4 amps. I also bought an Aukey 10000 mAh QuickCharge 2.0 power bank, and it too seems to charge my phone at up to 4 amps. Both were bought from Amazon Canada. I use them either with the cable that came with my phone or good micro USB cables and Tronsmart Micro USB to USB C adapters (which have the appropriate pull-up resistor.)

Fast transfer cable for 7P

So, anyone has any recommend for a cable that can reach 200MB/s transfer speed for 7p ?

Honestly the warp cable that comes with the phone is very fast. I believe its rated fkr at least usb 3.0, could be wrong, but its blazing fast. The 7 pro's usb c is indeed usb 3.1 compatible though, so you may benefit from such a cable

Is it? Huh. I may have to invest in a 3.0 cable. I guess Im used to my V30 and it being painfully slow at transfer speeds lol. Anyways, anker is definitely trustable in my experience, never had a bad product from them - in fact, one of my favorite cables from them Ive had for years and it has no fraying and doesnt even show signs of use. Realllllly long braided micro usb cable I use for my RPi from them.
i have used both Anker and Aukey cables for transfers, and i can say that the speed of copying a single large file is at approximately 350MB/s.

55W QC3.0 Charger

Is it just me or is there no 55W Charger to buy from 3. party manufacturers? I find adapters with the same output but 36W and QC3.0.
Official adapter is not that expensive but shipping costs around 10 Euro for me... That's almost the same as the adapter itself.

Red Magic 5G with 55W Nubia charger here.
Measuring charging wattage shows a maximum of 30W pulled from the charger, not once has it reached 55w.
Third party chargers reach 27w max, including PPS.
I've got all sorts of chargers here, PD/QC4+/QC3.0 ranging up to 60W.
The original Nubia charger not only charges the fastest, but also keeps the phone much cooler.
Third party chargers seem to warm the device that much more to the point that sometimes thermal throttling kicks in.

And yes, it's capped. I get like 5400 mA / 4300 mV charge speed with an third part app that measures the speed.
If they said that the phone has 55W charge and I got roughly 25W, that's false advertising, isn't it?
Even the original one doesn't seem to charge that fast!
P.S. I was only charging the phone in the moment I realized the test
P.S.2 I bought this adapter because there is no option of buying a 55W adapter for the EU from the official store

Hey mate, i'm looking at getting this too. Did you have to buy the official USB C cable for it to work? I can't work out what the requirements are for the cable in order to get SuperVOOC 2.0 speeds. Just curious as i bought a standard USB C cable (one in the box is too short IMO) and although I had it plugged into the SV2.0 charger I couldn't get it to charge at SV2.0 speeds
The cable has to be the official one, because it's the only one that has [email protected] Most other cables have 5A. I also looked in China but couldn't find any that has these specs, yet.
I have also bought this charger and it is Super Vooc charger, meaning it is not 2.0 version, I use it with original cable, but the speed difference is not huge, it still charges fast enough.

The SuperVOOX car charger its only 7.99 pounds in the OPPO official website, but it seems to be permanently out of stock.
Now, accidentally I found they are selling a bundle of the supervooc car charger + supervooc cable for 18 pounds, I think it´s a great deal so I bought it last weekend and it should arrive soon, heres the link:

The funny thing with this is that the bundle is not listed in the web in the accessories or in any other part, you can only find it if you search for something related like "car" or "supervooc"
I also chatted with them asking about the car charger being out of stock and they didnt tell me about this bundle...

anyway i have decided to buy an inverter for the car to use the one that came with the phone for now, but it would be nice to have a proper car charger without all the extra mess them wires are going to be making.
USB type-C cables don't have to be OEM but they do have to be the right standard (& the standards get added to frequently so get an up-to-date cable), Qualcom PD/QC is much more common than Mediatek VOOC & they work in completely different ways.
VOOC pulses the power wires to communicate between charger/cable/phone (all 3 have chips) whereas PD/QC communicates via the data wires.
The result of this communication is different too, VOOC leaves the line at 5V & just changes the current [Edit]it seems SuperVOOC can also select 10V[/Edit] but PD/QC selects between various Voltage/current combinations & can get up to 20V.
If communication fails completely the charger defaults to 5V & max 2.1A with the phone deciding how much current to draw.
The previous micro-USB fast-charge standard is different again, it uses a plain cable & just communicates between phone & charger to select 2.4A, 3.1A or 4.2A vs the default max 2.1A

Brilliant thank you, I have ordered the one in the first link as it actually mentions super vooc but I can't see it mentioned on the second one, it comes tomorrow and I will update you on how it goes, thanks again

So, any feedback or review?
yes apologies i completely forgot to let people know, so basically the item works well and the phone tells me it is charging at super vooc 2.0 speeds, however I've used the app ampere and its definitely not as fast as the wall plug version but is certainly fast enough, also I'm not using the stock cable that came with the phone as that didn't seem to work very well with the charger so instead I'm using another one of my cables which is a volutz cable, i wasn't actually aware it would work since i bought it for another phone but seems to work really well, so all in all i would highly recommend the charger as it seems to be the best option for on the go and is certainly cheap enough.

[review] Aukey GaN chargers

hey guys, aukey reached out to me to test some of their gallium nitride type c chargers. they're currently marketing these as iphone chargers, but of course as usb c chargers they work just as well on any number of devices including our pixels. as a google fanboy most of my devices are usb c at this point so im always looking for a great charger. they sent me four wall chargers in all: the pa-f1 and pa-y18 (both single port, 18w PD chargers,) the pa-b3 (65w dual usb a and c) and finally the pa-b6s (90w dual usb c and single port usb a.) for the power they output all four of these chargers are very small, and their folding plugs make them even more packable.
the pa-y18 is the smallest of the two 18w chargers, coming in at slightly larger than the original 5w apple brick, though the aukey's folding plug make it functionally smaller to pack. the the pa-f1 is a bit taller and longer, though a hair thinner. in testing the pa-f1 consistently put out 1.9a/8.9w charging either my pixel 5, lenovo chromebook duet or samsung chromebook plus. despite having identical specs on paper, the pa-y18 did slightly better, at 1.9a/9w. the pa-y18 is slightly more compact, but the pa-f1 retails for a few bucks less, so choose accordingly. as a side note, i've been using the pa-y19 as my go-to travel charger for about a year now. it is identical in size to the y18, but offers 30w of power. personally i think its worth the extra bucks over either of these chargers since it offers more flexibility.
the pa-b3 performed just as expected, fast charging all of my devices. speeds on the usb c port stayed consistent at around 2.05a/8.9v for the pixel and duet, and 1.65a/19.6v for the chromebook plus even when the usb a port was in use.
the pa-b6s did slightly better at 2.05a/9v for the pixel and duet, and 1.65a/19.6v for the chromebook plus. it was able to fast charge even with devices plugged into all 3 ports (with the pixel also plugged in the chromebook plus charged at 2.15a/11.9v ,) but you need to be aware which usb c port you're using. by themselves either c port can put out 90w of power, but when used together the top port (indicated with a PD icon) puts out a max of 30w while the the bottom port (indicated by a computer icon) delivers up to 60w. if all 3 ports are used together the a and top c ports put out 12w each, while the bottom c port can output 60w. i did notice that it got a bit warm when juicing 3 devices, but nothing concerning.
They also sent me the LC-A3 3-in-1 wireless charger, but unfortunately this one really is mostly for iphone users. the two coil wireless stand charged the pixel 5 fine, but at slow speeds since it doesnt appear to be epp certified. ive been able to adapt some apple watch stands to use with my fossil gen 5s, but it was a no-go here as the watch lies sideways. however, if youre in the ios ecosystem having a fairly compact place to charge your phone, airpods and watch at once is handy. they don't supply a power brick with this one, but it has a usb c input and i was able to power it with my existing bricks/cables. while this may seem like a no brainer, the stand im currently using needs its own usb c charger to power itself.
overall all four of these devices make an excellent addition to your travel bag, according to what types of ports and how many you need. the pa-y18 and pa-f1 are a bit redundant, so choose whichever one you prefer, but all of these devices offer a lot of bang for the buck and aukeys many different port configurations and power outputs means theres likely a charger to suit your use-case. for more detailed info on them and (non-affiliated) links to purchase check out https://shop.aukey.com/pages/best-iphone-12-chargers
edit: for some reason the forum wont let me upload the photos, but heres a link to them for size comparison.

Thank you for posting this! I was considering the PA-B6S prior to reading your review, but after reading it - I am going to take the 'plunge' and buy one! I need a higher wattage wall charging adapter (my tried-and-trued Anker wall chargers are unable to charge my GaN battery-based Flash 2.0 power bank and takes forever to charge my Aiwa Exos-3 speaker. Thank goodness I have a OnePlus 7 Pro with Warp Charge capability and came with a 30w power adapter as that adapter has been the only way (using the included OnePlus red USB cable) that I can charge either of the aforementioned devices with any decent speed.
This Aukey PA-B6S should hold me over until some of my IGG & KS-backed campaigns are finally able to ship my 100w+ GaN-based adapters. Thanks again!
