[Tasker Profile (root)] Keep MotionSense active while listening to Spotify on PC - Google Pixel 4 XL Themes, Apps, and Mods

When you listen to music on Spotify on your PC and have your smartphone next to you, I noticed that at some point the Spotify app will close and MotionSense will stop working (at least for me).
This Tasker profile will do the following:
Trigger
A notification from "Pixel Ambient Services" comes (read: "Song playing: ..."). While the song is playing, this notification even refreshes automatically.
Action
- Check if Spotify is running via "sudo ps -A | grep com.spotify.music"
- Launch Spotify if it isn't already open
Requirements
- root (ps without root will show nothing)
- Notification Listener (the built in Notification listener doesn't show the "Pixel Ambient Services" app for whatever reason)
- Be in range of your PC so your phone detects the song
Here is the Tasker profile as a link:

Spotify - Suspend / Sleep Issues

When running the Spotify app, the active album / track is plumbed through the lock screen UI in the same manner as the inbuilt Zune module.
However if you pause a Spotify track for any length of time then it eventually disappears from the lock screen. Depending on what you do next you can easily crash the Spotify app.
By contrast you can suspend tracks initiated through the Zune indefinitely.
Anyone else noticed this behavior? Is this because the Mango API doesn't allow the same level of access to third party apps as it does to the inbuilt core MS Zune App?

[Q] How to mute media playback controls?

I don't like having the media notification on my watch with the little play/pause action, I prefer to just handle that with my phone. I tried specifically muting Pocketcasts and Spotify in the Android Wear app, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
Any ideas? Is there a different app that I need to mute to make this happen?
what app are you using for music? for me the controls don't appear if i disable the lockscreen feature on poweramp
I use Spotify for music and Pocketcasts for podcasts. Same problem with both.
you can try muting spotify and pocketcasts, go on android wear, click on the cog icon on top right, it should be the first option in that menu
Edit: sorry reread your previous post, seems that didn't work, on spotify you can try to turn off device broadcast status or you can go to settings > apps > spotify and uncheck show notifications

How do I force set a default music player on my 5X?

I have DoubleTwist (for syncing to my PC) and BlackPlayer (for actually playing music) installed and would like to set BlackPlayer as my default music player. However, whenever I go to Apps > Configure Apps > Default apps, the only four lines I see are:
Browser App: Chrome
Phone App: Phone
SMS App: Textra
Could be a side effect of the new Marshmallow philosophy of "only ask for something (e.g. permissions) when needed, as there's no option to create a new default.
But I even opened an mp3 file from my downloads folder, got the prompt to select a music player, checked off "BlackPlayer" and "always" instead of "just once", and the Default Apps screen didn't change. Also, when I try to open a file manually, BlackPlayer says "Error loading track!" - though this may be a separate issue.
This is a problem, because I cannot start music playback with the screen locked most of the time (sometimes it works, but usually not) using my aux cord, which has inline volume and playback controls. If I try to use OK Google to play music, it says "you don't have a default app selected for playing music, please choose one on the screen at your convenience". But when I open the screen, there's no list of options, and if I say "play music" again it just brings up a search box showing search results for the Play Music app.
This is really starting to get on my nerves that I can't use the cord I bought with controls without first opening my phone and starting music playback manually. Anyone know how to force Marshmallow to automatically play from a specific app using controls?

Automatically toggle Boomsound when music app starts playing

I was wondering if it was possible to automatically toggle Boomsound into music mode when I start playing music in a particular app (poweramp). I keep it in theater mode otherwise because I like that better for videos, but when I go to play music, it would be nice not to have to change it manually. I block the persistent notification, so I would have to change it via settings.
I use Tasker and the Autoinput plugin, but I can't figure out how to automate it. Any help is appreciated.

Question Spotify suddenly starts playing

Usually, I listen to podcasts (AntennaPod app), but occasionally I listen to Spotify. And here comes the problem. Sometimes Spotify suddenly starts playing.
Two examples from the last few days:
1. Spotify was Forced stopped, in Android’s Battery settings Spotify is set to be in Deep sleep. Spotify’s Autoplay setting is disabled. Before entering the car, I was listening to my podcast application (AntennaPod), but immediately after the phone connects to the car’s infotainment, Spotify starts to play music. Can’t understand that annoying behavior.
2. In Android’s Battery settings Spotify is set to be in Deep sleep. Spotify’s Autoplay setting is disabled. Spotify wasn’t used a whole day. Then I made a phone restart (usually I do it sometimes). After the phone “comes back”, Spotify suddenly starts to play music. This time without being connected to an external device. Simply can’t understand that behavior. It can be seen only in notifications, the Spotify isn't among the last opened apps (logically).
Technical info: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with latest firmware G990BXXS2CVC6 (Android 12). The phone is only some days old and without many installed applications.
Any idea?
