What is the error it's showing ?

It might be that your camera or other Google services is using the microphone.
Please disable the service/app that's using microphone and then use the Recorder app.
It's obvious that it won't work otherwise, lol.
Anyways, your microphone shouldn't be on all the time, it's fishy.

Here is the error I'm getting in my Mi 9T Pro global rom MIUI11 . Hope you can help. Thank you.
It worked perfectly on the Motorola Moto G6 plus.
It doesn't work for me on a OnePlus 6. It just doesn't save the transcript. It's available in real-time, but not when saved.

It's not a call recorder !
Ok. See now what this new apk should do but doing nothing. After save, transciotion dont work, working only when recording is on.
EDIT. this apk working only with english language. That why tracription is not saved. When we use other language transctiption panel is empty.

Actually there is a hack for enabling built-in call recorder (blocked in EU & USA) - novelty for EMUI 9.0 & 9.1 devices.

It starts for once but after giving permissions it asks for okay and exit and if we press okay camera stops opening.

No the ROM itself doesn't have api files for codes to work, example: for nougat we have an patch made by z2+ devs only for zui nougat, same like that try to get patch for zui Oreo rom
No slow motion in this camera..

• Works Slow Motion
• Works Time Lapse

° Doesn't work Night Shot

The first of the latters saves the picture but crashes the app.
The second crashes directly the app.
It would be nice to have this app working on custom ROM especially on Android 9.

the answer of the question depends on individual as how the person looks at their photo quality , i would refer gcam.

I have installed ACR unchained and works but android 9 have problem with recording,in the app settings are specific settings for android 9 and the solution is audio gain 14 but my voice is is distorced because gain is to high,but usable.

Doesnt work for me.... The recorded sound has very disturbance also its recording sorrounding people sound... Quality is very low

I`m afraid, you are right. Tried different settings, but the best I achieved, was very low level record of the incoming voice, probably just the replay of the phonespeaker.

I did it and everything works just fine (don't tested WiFi call, I am not interested).
There must be a way to just extract the part we need and install directly. Why cant we do that?

I have flashed Indian ROM but no call recording app is working. Only built in option is working. Why third party apps are not working ? Any one please advise ?
I have Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 8, note 7 has inbuilt recording (older version of MIUI 11, 11.0.6), note 8 doesn't have this function (MIUI 11 11.0.9), I can't understand why older phone has such a useful function and newer has not, or it depends on version of ROM? note 8 is global, for note 7 I am not sure.

I am not happy with it.
- The image stabilization doesn't working on it.
- There are issues barrel at super wide lens, the default xiaomi camera has a better algorithm (probably) that corrects the barel issue that normally have these lenses.

The compared photos seems the good work of GCam.
If you see at the end (07:55) the video image stabilization of GCam is wrong.

Why use the 8.3? Its in beta so a lot of stuff doesnt work. Use MGC 8.1 the latest stable version. You can also use a config to make everything work including slow-mo.

Think you should be able to load this into the app. I got it from the BSG gcam telegram. If you dont like 16:9 you can just change it from the dropdown settings menu quickly.

Actually I'm not able to load it inside the app. I made a folder GCam/Configs8 and put the xml inside - however when I double tap near the cam shutter button, the import dialog doesn't show?
Maybe it's the Gcam version, I downloaded the one from the first post here.

Use THIS link to download the newest version. Download any of the 3 first apk. If it helps I usually use ENG apk but snap also works fine. It should have an option to add custom xml files in the settings. Just point it to the folder where its located (can be anywhere on the phone).

When you go into settings in the phone are you getting the option to turn on the call recording? I'm not getting that option.
Is the default phone apk not the oneplus dialer? I downloaded the latest version from apk mirror and it now looks exactly like the oneplus dialer apk and joneplus recording is working.
This is what my OP dialer looks like with the Recording option enabled. Checked to see if the recording was there that I recorded the other day after I told you it was working, and it's not there for some reason. When you record a call, it's supposed to be (oddly) saved under the 'Music' folder. The folder was empty though.

Could you post the link to the dialer, you did download? I have a buggy dialer, that does not always record the call.
jOneplustools worked fine for me on the stock OnePlus dialer. I was able to turn on call recording using the adb method as I'm not rooted yet. Also I tested and was able to record a call.
