Carbon Fiber Sticker - Realme 5 Pro Accessories

I bought and applied this stickers for protection since we don't have gorilla glass protection on the back to avoid scratches and small dents

I had a OnePlus 6 with such a sticker form the previous owner and it really didn't look good. It gave a dirty feel to the back of the phone too, wouldn't recommend such stickers - just get a case.

If the back has gorilla glass then case is enough ?
Btw its not really a sticker, more like screen protector that sticks on smooth surfaces so it doesn't have sticky residue when it peel off.

Could you share links to buy skins in Europe? Because I have not found. Preferably because it bothers me to wait 3 weeks for a simple piece of plastic. thank you

Back glass scratches VERY easily. Any solutions?

Today a glass of water was accidentally spilled near my phone. I took my Spiegen Rugged case off, and as I was examining the back of my phone to see if water permeated the case, I noticed patches of scratches along the edges of the back glass panel. This was super frustrating because I've been extremely careful to constantly keep my phone encased and protected. I've been doing research, and I've read a number of proposed remedies to fix superficial scratches. I don't, however, see any testimonials validating their effectiveness. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or experience here? They aren't deep thankfully.

Would the clear ones cover it up?

I'm just guessing, but I would imagine that a case that covers the back of the phone could cause issues if anything gets caught between the case and the glass. Then it would rub around inside, between the two surfaces, and scratch the back. It doesn't take much. Supposedly even dust has elements in it that are harder than glass and can sratch it. And a case will always have some gap in there (never being a perfect fit).
So I think some sort of plastic that adheres to the glass would be better, since nothing can get trapped in there and there won't be independent movement between the plastic cover and the glass. I never took off the plastic cover that came on the glass back on my Nexus 4 and have never had an issue (of course the plastic is worse for the wear after these many years).
Sadly, this sort of problem was to be expected since it has happened to every phone with a glass back. It baffles me that Google has repeated a mistake it already made with the Nexus 4 (and has also been shown to have issues on the iPhone 4 and Samsung's phones).
Anyway, if you're going to have the Spiegen case on the phone, then it certainly won't hurt to also adhere some sort of plastic protector to the glass part, since you'll never see it.

Thank you all, for this valuable information..
I really appreciate all of the thoughtful responses . I just ordered some d brand skins.. hopefully that helps with my ocd!
It is strange that you got scratches on the back glass panel with the case.
I have been naked and I don't see any scratches. The dbrand option is a way to go.
I can't wait for the marble version to come out.
I'm completely neurotic... I also purchased a rotary polishing tool, and cerium oxide (glass scratch fixer).. and I'm going to attempt to buff it out. I'll keep you all posted

Bro, Tempered Glasses don't work like that. Last week i dropped my max just from above a feet. Since it fell by corner it popped out of frame i pushed it back. Got a little dent on corner and i don't had glass or cover. I ordered a metal cover which i will receive by the week. I will test that and put a review on accessories section. Tempered glass don't provide protection from dropping ur phone. I would recommend you case over glass since they only provide screen protection not 360 protection.

Wait few days i will put a detailed review of this cover With pros and cons..
Thank You

U talking about Samsung Galaxy S6??
I believe you. They can protect some devices but not all. samsung s6 body is made of gorilla glass 4 (front and back panel). I guess that G Glass 4 is the most latest by corning. How strong is it you can see demo on YT. Even if you don't had glass on it. Normally It wasn't going to break. Although sometimes it's glass get crack if you drop it without case or screen guard.
On other hand we have Mi Max which got a metal body. It's weight is 203g and have massive screen. S6 weight only 138grams. I am saying if it falls to floor by it's back/front panel, There's no prob but if it falls by corner then you have to worry about it.
Also i have experienced that devices with a plastic body don't break easily and metal devices get dents sometimes if they fall by corners. So the only damage i m talking about metal device is DENTS. If you drop it from ur pocket it's more likely going to be a side drop (it can fall by corner). Side drop will more likely results ina dent and i don't think a galas will protect from side drops. Glass is grt for screen protection.
At the end choice is yours!! choose wisely
Had my Mi Max screen broken. 50 cm flight right to the stone parquet. The corners are weak spots. So, if you have screen protector not covering the ends, glass is not protected. Nothing helps, ok maybe some ugly case.
About metal unibody... good commercial. I have reassmbled Mi Max for few times. No metal in there.

Suggest me good tempered glass and a good case that can handle this cases.. but not a case like the above's guy..
I wish I could help. I have read several forums about screen protecting but sadly there is no solution because Mi Max has 2,5D edges.
About case: i have used Nillkin hard plastic transparent cover. Looks solid, edges over the corners. Havent dropped yet, but I truely believe, that it minimizes the risk.

I found a good tempered for 6 euros.. it covers all the screen, the TEMPERED that I had it was covering all the screen... So out there are exist some good tempered glass
What do you think about a bumper for case? It helps?

Anyone just using screen protectors and no case?

Just can't find a front and rear case that I'm 100% with. They are mainly to Bulky or to flimsy.
Ao at present I'm using front, rear and hinge 'screen protectorso
Think I might be being foolish though. Guarantee I drop it now!
Same here actually. I have the Armid case from Samsung but I usually prefer phone naked so it is the same with Fold 2. I didn't remove yet the inner screen protector but planning to.
I was using the phone without any protective case because like you said, none of them fits 100% to my liking, and guess what happened. I have dropped the phone from 2 feet and cracked the edge of the front screen. I couldn't sleep for 2 days how upset I was, but fortunately my local Samsung care center replaced the screen right away for roughly $150.00, but they installed new front screen that has absolutely no factory screen protection, so I am using the phone naked outside. Yesterday my Ringke case arrived so I put it on immediately, just in case but it's not perfect. But I will have to live with it. I am receiving Samsung Aramid case tomorrow, so I will see which one I will keep on the phone.
I don't know if this idea is good to remove the inner display protector. I don't do this. for what ? perhaps scratches in the inner display ? not for me
has anybody removed the outer display protection ? I think this is not a big problem cause gorilla glass victus is here.

It doesn't matter what sort of glass it is, if you look at the right hand side corners the glass is bulged out so any impact there will 100% shatter it. I had/ have a note 20 ultra with a broken screen, still under repair (for more than a month now) so don't completely trust the victus branding.. glass is glass and glass breaks :crying:

I removed the inner screen protector as I didn't like the feeling of it. It was also very difficult to keep clean of fingerprints and smudges and I was unable to see past that.
Now, the screens looks and feels ALOT better, but I've noticed some small scratches on the screen. They appear to come from my left thumb nail while scrolling. Even though I keep my nails fairly short. The scratches are only visible when the screen is off an from the right angle. I can't feel them, but they can be wiped away.
There aren't enough bad scratches to bother me yet and I don't regret removing the protector... but I thought you should know.
If the scratches get bad, I'll get a screen replacement and maybe consider a protector... but I'll only keep the phone for a year, so it'll probably be naked again even after a replacement ??
I went naked as well for tha same reason I couldn't find a good case...stock screen protector inside and out!
No protectors inside or out, no case, pure naked. It's a joy to run this way but one little drop later I could be weeping like a schoolgirl with a skinned knee. That window ends in about a week as I finally found a case as premium as the phone and I'll be in a wallet soon.
I use only this for carring the phone.
this fits very good !

Fit good for the first test. Arrived today from china ...
I think the naked looks and feels the best!!! Then why using covers, protectors, or else!!!
I use on all sides hydrogel. And works great... I drop it 4 times to all surfaces and still no scratch.
I'm not prone to dropping my phones or having butter fingers, however I don't want to chance it. So far I have purchased a Whitestone dome for the front (have not installed it yet), Samsung's aramid and leather cover (still waiting on my leather cover to arrive). The last phone I rocked without a case was my HD2? That thing is a tank!
No case ..
Only screen protector inside and outside
Sent from my SM-F916B using Tapatalk
My simple experience after around 2 months of use. I finally got the courage few days back to remove the inner screen. Knowing I prefer always my phone without a case and a protector.
The inner screen , without a doubt is way clearer and less smudgy without one and it is perfect.
Anyways, I have already bought 2 orotectors, both are somehow the sam price, however, one turned out to be excellent and as good as without protector and one is more smudgy than the original.
My recommendation for ones who doesn't want to keep inner screen without protection is to get the good one, you get the best of both words, clarity and protection.
I have the samsung aramid case since day one but I never used to be honest, only the first few days...
The good protector and the bad one in sequence:

I used matte black outside screen protector and Orzero inner screen protector which is night and day comparing to the stock plastic feel one. For case, I went with Spigen Slim case works well because I dropped the phone once and some minor scratches on the edges.

What case is this you're using? Looks good! Interested in buying one myself.
I just removed the inner (original) screen protector and installed matt hydropel screen protector. The original one is really just badly . I like the matt taste now on the inner screen and of course no fingerprints anymore...
I went ahead a few days ago and removed the inner and outer screen protectors. The inner was getting nastier looking with smudges plus I signed up for Samsung Care+ so if anything happens to the screen I only pay like $29 for a replacement.

Question Protecting Oneplus 9 pro

yes I hear about that but I think that it is only a plastic film unuseful in case the phone falls on the screen and I thought that a tempered glass or a polymer protection would be quite better; no !?
cases are being sold for some time, got 9 and 9Pro transparent case on the way in case I will buy the phone Factory foil is enough for me, on each phone. Still in good shape on 8Pro. I think they're thinnest, most comfy and don't break edge gestures or fingerprint like those expensive foils and glasses. Worthless investment if you ask me, by the time it scratches you can have a new model already..

thx for your answer. The protection given with the phone is it just a film or is solid, I mean in case of falling does it protect from the ground impact and avoid the screen to break or does it only protect from scratches?

Scratches. If you're that worried, you need a huge rigid case or flip case, as glass cover will cover you only to some extent (a bit extra protection, the few extra cases where you'll be breaking the glass cover only). People who claim were saved by glass cover only usually cannot prove the glass would break without it.. and that is why the cover business works well. I prefer comfort, and light weight (i count every gram), and out of my dozens phones in decades, i fatally dropped NONE so i RISK it happily, if my next 1400$ flagship will break one day after buying, i can't care less, because i saved so much money not buying expensive screen protection in the past. But that's my philosophy.. It's not my recommendation. My enemy is scratches from keys and pockets. I just need a foil. Thanks Oneplus and Samsung for providing it for free
Buy a case Buy insurance!
Glass backs break easily, thanks to an insurance company my Oneplus 9 pro will only cost about $100.
My OP 8Pro was totaled because of a cracked back panel.
As the one above me said, spend some bucks and buy insurance. Pair that with a sandstone case and the pre-applied protector, and you will be good for at least a year.
It would be shame to cover that gorgeous screen with some clunky tempered glass protector.
I just bought a Caseology Parallex off Amazon. It is a nice case. I had it on other phones.

Close enough! I am Mexican
I looked at the Caseology Parallex on Amazon and might buy that. But I think I'll wait another week or two and see what else is available. It comes with a clear TPU case, so I'll just use that if I don't have a permanent one yet.
I don't really care for screen protectors because they ruin the impressive touchscreen experience for me. I read there's a factory applied screen protector, so I'll see how that works. I will probably get a protective film (or glass?) for the camera because my current one got a little scuffed up in the 2 years I've had it. Does anyone else use a protector for the camera?

I also wonder. I plan to create a plastic square that will protect outside the case hole, because I am afraid that a glass or tpu protection might decrease photo quality

The ones I was looking at on Amazon have cutouts for the camera, just like the cutouts for camera or speaker on a regular screen protector. So there's no glass over the camera itself, but the raised area around the camera is protected.

I've been using Gadgetshieldz screen protector for my One Plus 9 Pro for more than 5 months now, it does provide good protection against scratches but also protects the display from edge-to-edge.

Accessories OnePlus 9 Pro + Whitestone Dome + case compatibility

Just wanted a thread for information.
So...
Original case: Fits, works great, but it's a lame case. Very slippery, little protection.
Spigen Ultra Hybrid: OK. Works great with the Dome, it's not touching and installs easily. I like how it feels, good case.
Otterbox Symmetry: Works but very, very tight fit. Even normally, it's such a tight fit you are almost breaking the phone. It's a pretty weird design honestly. The front "lip" has a rubbery finish that I do not like either.
Post your experiences and I'll update the OP post!
Thank you.
I'm using the sandstone case with the dome

I too like my phone naked without anything on it but the phone gets so many scratches and dents on the edges so I decided to install a full-body screen protector from Gadgetshieldz. The protector is very thin which I like about it and I can barely feel it on my phone. Try this instead of a case to feel the phone as it is.

I was using Whitestone dome with gray sandstone case as well. Til the Whitestone started getting dust under the edges and it cracked. I bought the 2 pack with light but they didn't give extra speaker/port stickers to apply the 2nd protector. Between spigen and rinke cases in rotation currently.

But sometimes that thin protection can tear apart and which can be very dangerous in certain climax scenarios when you are in a hurry. Moreover, some people prefer the case as it provides more grip and some even have textures and colours on them to give more pleasure to the user.

It is risky if you go with cheap brands, this one I'm using for 3 months now and there is no peeling or tear of the protector. I hate the tempered glass because it eventually breaks in a month or two so I'm going with this.
