i dont know if this is right place for my message but i would be very glad if someone would help me.
I ordered EU version but instead i received a chinesee one with some chinesee aps and without polish language (im from Poland). I can use only english language.
I also have no b20 LTE as it comes with EU version. I can see that on my box.
Is it possible to somehow unlock b20? Can i have a global rom on my phone that support polish language without those strange apps?

Na ten moment z tego co wiem niemożliwe, reklamuj u sprzedawcy. Ja kupiłem na Amazonie eu i przyszło eu. Na razie społeczność jest w fazie ogarniania tego modelu, pierwsze próby cn->global są, ale ryzykowne. Co do B20 to wątpliwe że się to uda.

Please help me. My friend gave me htc diamond, he used it in france and now give to me. It is on french language. Now I want to use it in Serbia. But when I put mine SIM card, it's not working. On the phone batery is singing SFR, and when I turn on phone on the beagining it says SFR, I think that is french provider. What should I do, to use diamond in mine country Serbia???

Napravi prvo sim-unlock prema uputama. Kasnije ne moras raditi HardSPL jer ga vec napravis.

I bought my phone in Ireland about 4 months ago. Obviously the OS is in english, but i was just wondering if there is any chance of changing it to Polish without rooting the phone? I got upgrade to Froyo about 2 months ago but the only thing that i can change to Polish it's the keyboard. I dont really mind english menu it's just Google Voice Search. Finally it's working in poland aswell, but when i downloaded the upgrade there is only English German Japanese Chinese and spanish I think. No Polish at all. Any suggestions how i can add Polish language to that?

sadze ze tylko root + custom rom u mnie w leedroid 2.1 jest polski plus ok 30 innych jezykow
ewentualnie pokombinuj cos z locale, ale nie mam pojecia o co chodzi i czy dziala, po prostu jak w eng telefonie wejdziesz w ustawienia jezyka to na gorze jest napisane locale, nie wiem czy nie ma czasem jakiejś aplikacji z tym związanej

The language list on my global rom 8pro has Netherlands, Is that Dutch.

European ROM has Dutch language, so I assume you've bought a Chinese version of the phone? If so you probably will have to flash another official build, EU or global (not sure if Dutch is on global. Unfortunately there's no longer xiaomi.eu support which has excellent language support.
Make sure to read the forums instructions how to flash as you might easily brick your phone.
Personally I prefer English settings for system language and multilanguage for Google keyboard.

I can assure you the EU version does support Dutch language. If you can't flash official EU version I have a copy of the last Xiaomi.eu version, which is based on the Chinese rom.

Nederlands is er in Global versie . Ik weet niet van de andere versies.

Are you sure it's the global version? Where did you buy it, the America's or Europe? I have the EU version and in 'Settings -About Phone' I see 'MIUI Global 11.0.3.0 QGGEUXM. Global version would be MIUI Global 11.0.3.0 QGGINXM.

Yes i'm sure it's the global version. I bought mine at a local shop in Suriname. The miui version i'm on right now is " MIUI GLOBAL 11.0.5.0. QGGMIXM"

Is it possible to flash Taiwan or Hongkong ROM to the unlocked USA version of S20 5G (SM-G981U)? As I understand there is no difference in hardware.
Unfortunately, the US version doesn't have full Russian or Ukrainian language support. But at the same time the Chinese, Taiwan or Hongkong version does.
And the second question is there is a way to get the Russian language with the SM-G981U(1) ??

Hong Kong, Taiwan and China firmware can't be flashed on an SM-G981U, it's not compatible. You might consider a Russian keyboard and translation app. Even better yet aquire a SM-G9860 or SM-G9880. Good luck!
