I went with Samsung s6 till s10+ after p20 pro and now finally p30 pro.
Saw the new Sony and I'm very excited and I hope this time they turn the page and start hitting everyone with the Xperia 1 mark 2.
Finally after 7yeasrs leaving sony I'm now looking forward to there new Xperia.
Just wanna see what DOX score it will get =D

Hi guys,
would it be possible to add another section on the Xperia (Kovsky) specifically for the Sony Ericsson Panels?
The whole interface is exclusive to X1 and things seem to have started picking up with the latest announcement from SE for more panels, the competition etc.

TBH I'd rather we had a themes/apps/software subforum like the other newer devices, panels should fit into that neatly..
I guess the panels is another form of software but i thought a separate forum section would provide Kovsky owners a place to talk, develop and share panels.
I have forwarded this request to the admin (we are expecting some new device forums soon) so hopefully it should be added.

I would like to be able subscribe to just the first post of a thread and receive an email update when the first post is edited/updated.
So for an example, I could go to a ROM thread and subscribe to the opening post. Then when the Dev comes out with a new version and updates the first post (and often title) I would be sent an email alerting that there is an update.
I suspect that this feature would lighten the load on the server because it would reduce the number of people who hit F5 every 20 seconds when they are expecting an update.
This is similar to this request http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200001 which I think is also a good idea.

I love the new SGS III, but the thing that kills me in ICS is that they still haven't fixed the 5 contact join limit for contacts. Personally, I have some contacts with 7-10 different IDs that I'd like to consolidate.
I've been following this thread, but it seems to be stalling and it's for the SGS2, so it's not even sure that the S3 will get a fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1349803
I've also been following this google dev thread: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=16735 but seems to go nowhere.
I'd like to put a request for devs to look into this, it would be a great fix and save lots of inner anger regarding this issue.

I've read threads here with some people saying that there will be no Xperia Play 2 and then I've seen some others on XDA Dev hint that Sony might be pursuing this. So has anyone heard anything at all.....any new news.....any hints....anything on a Sony Xperia Play 2 (or whatever name they decide to use)? I've had my rooted Xperia Play r800x for almost 3 years and it works perfectly and I refuse to upgrade to another brand in hopes that Sony will put a 2nd version of this phone on the market sometime in 2014. So any news? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
