What is this? Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google Pico packages installed. Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability and security, along with essential and useful features for the proper functioning of the device Based on Android 10.0
Why this ROM? I have tried many rom's to cool 1 over many the period of many years and most of the ROM are not stable I have had problems mainly with speaker and network ie LTE was not working since I have recovered the phone from a brick. This ROM is currently the best and stable ROM in android 10 with doesn't need any patches for sound. Sound work automatically with this ROM. For users who wants to stay at Android 9 - The most stable ROM is Evolution X.
How to get this ROM? You need to flash the custom recovery on your existing TWRP or any Custom recovery as this pixel ROM needs the updated Recovery img so that it doesn't throw Error 7 while flashing this ROM. Installing this ROM is pretty straight forward, Wipe everything including Internal Storage and format data and force disable the encryption. Flash the Custom recovery .img file in exisitng TWRP and Flash the ROM + GCam Camera Fix. Users won't facing sound problem can flash the sound patch.
What's fixed in this ROM? Fixed all media errors, crashes and instability. Fixed camera operation. Other changes under the hood. Sound working fine without any patch. Network stability is good.

So you think this ROM is better than LineageOS 17.1 in terms of stability, battery life and generaly speed?

The ROM stability is good than LineageOS 17.1, I have tried Lineageos 17.1 isn't happy about the stability and hence decided to reflash the pixel ROM. Pixel works fine the battery is stable and better than the rom i have tried over many months. I had tried LineageOS 17.1 and had issues with fingerprint and adaptive brightness. The Charging indicator light doesn't work while charging in lineagesOS 17.1,
A little bit about the Pixel 10 firmware. which was noticed during this short time, autonomous on average 10 percent of the charge per hour of screen time, when charging, the charge indicator lights up from yellow to green during notifications, the indicator blinks blue, YouTube, VK, OK applications work stable, I made video calls on Watts App, VK ,, Ok, I will update if i find any issues in the Pixel ROM.

Fingerprint doesn't work
Hi,
Few roms ago my fingerprint sensor stopped working. In your rom its is still broken. When trying to add fingerprint touching sensor gives no feedback. Any ideas how to fix it?

I was using PixelExperience and ROM is great but there are some problems. When you start using device you can notice that device is getting warm under your hands and after some time device gets so warm that cpu starts throttling and as a result of that, system start to slowdownc sytem UI is crashing and similar things to that. Except this problem everything else works great (notifications, gestures, battery, gcam, etc.).
Also I tried LineageOS 17.1 and on that ROM everything works great except notifications. Hovever, there are some patches that needs to be applied in order to get sound, remote control, and LED light working. All that you can find on 4PDA forum. The only problem I have with this ROM is notifications. When I'm using phone notifications works fine but when display is turned off messages from viber, whatsapp etc. are being delayed for about 30 to 60 seconds, and sometimes SMS won't show up as long as display is powered off and phone is locked.

Something is wrong with your fingerprint. On my Cool1 fingerprint works on PixelExperience and LineageOS.

Starting from JUI 7.1.1 V.13.2 CUOCO92 Rom
I almost bricked my phone starting from JUI 7.1.1 and TWRP 3.2.1-3 by geoanto555 and trying to install the recovery.img attached (file= TWRP_VENDOR1.img).
Please show me what I wrong and the correct steps for upgrading from JUI 7.1.1 to your Android 10 Rom.
Thank you.

Thank you very much, I am not able to download the Coolpad keys for Assistant (fine not found err. 404) and the Cuoco92 TWRP 3.1.0 (same reason); please would you like to send this file or post a valid link ?
Another question: if I am already in Android 9/10 and I would like to test different Android 9/10 roms I always have to go back to EUI before flashing new A9/10 roms ?
Thank you again

You need to register on 4PDA forum. No, you don't need to go back on EUI everytime. When you're back on EUI with TWRP before flashing ROM always do full wipe (Wipe Everything + Format Data)

It was a bit tricky but finally I get registered on 4PDA forum and I downloaded the Coolpad Assistant keys. Thank you :good:

I have a problem. During the first start I have to do the access with an account Google. I insert the credentials of my account and it notifies me that the smartphone has been reset and so I have to do the access with an account Google already synchronized with the smartphone. I have tried to do a wipe data+cache but I don't have solved it.

Pixel 10 copo 1 c103
A ROM é bastante agradável, só tenho problema ao gravar vídeos a câmera está escura,.

Hi, i installed this rom today and only one issue...tactil buttons dont works. I put 3 virtual buttons from the configuration of android and now i am looking for a solution for the tactil buttons.
PD: If u have problems with MiFlash just power off ur phone, hold up volumen button and down volumen button and plug usb to PC. If it works a red light still off and on all time, then MiFlash reconigzed phone.

For anyone who is interested: this ROM works perfectly on a Leree Le 3.
After flashing (and sweaty moments because of the flashing red light) it identifies as C106.

You can change the 'on-screen buttons' to tactile buttons in Settings -> System -> Buttons.

In some cases, the camera fails to open nd mi sound enhancer doesn't even open. Headphone mic not working in this rom nd whenever i press the switches on hesdphones to cjane track etc. It opens up Google assistant instead of changing the track. Speaker sounds tinny. Super cool, thanks!
Hope to try it today.
Woo hoo! Thank you :victory:
Have been running it today.
Camera works, bluetooth audio works with hickups when I do stuff during playing music but no problem when just listening.
Wifi reconnected just fine after being out, but that was only once.
Hey! Thank you very much, will test it soon
Great Work!!!
Will try it out this week, but my 1gig Mate doesn't handle these 4.4.x ROMs very well unless I run them barebone (i.e. if I don't load my apps). Can anyone recommend a good RAM manager that I could try to see if it helps?
WiFi issues
Been running this ROM since midnight last night. Not bad at all. Think it has given me the best overall response of all the 4.4.x ROMs I've tried. Runs very smoothly. Only issues I've had are that sometimes when I press the power button to wake the phone up it doesn't wake up and I'm having occurrences of the WiFi turning itself off and when I try to turn it back on it doesn't turn on. Tried using WiFi fixer and that didn't work either. In order to get the WiFi to turn back on I have to reboot.
Going to do a full wipe and reinstall and see what happens. Haven't seen anyone else say anything about this so I'm going to check if it was just a bad install.
I would really love a 4.4.x ROM I can use as a daily driver. This ROM comes awful close.:good::good:
On a side note:
Is apollo music player missing by choice?
Or did I do something wrong?
I went away from this carbon for a few days, comming back to play music over bluetooth. Was not dissapointed
But after charging full, battery was down to 38% in 17 hours, google play services being responcible for 58% of power consumption.... Followed by screen with 9%...
There is more info on this topic but having this improved is at the top of my wish list!
Edit: Have tried a diy fix:
Goto settings>privacy>privacy guard, then "menu" at top right hand side of the screen, choose advanced...
Then look for "google play services" om several pages and tap on it on each page.
Disable "stay awake" or simmilar.
You may dissable stuf you actually need, be carefull!

Looks like Apollo is not included in Carbon by default, i will include it in next version (missing it too)
UPDATE V0.2
CHANGES
AROM-Kernel V14 included (Main changes: overclocking to 1.7GHz, fixed reading of RAM-usage)
Apollo included
CM-Sources merged up to the status of today
Thank you sir! Starting my test today!
*After first two hours, I'm really impressed. Bluetooth audio through my car stereo is awesome, actually displaying track name instead of "paused", which I was getting on b221.
Two days in, and I'm noticing Bluetooth skipping during system navigating. When driving I also notice it skips during acceleration, stops and hard turns. I wonder if it's related to the "glance " function?
Besides that, I've noticed that swipe input doesn't work on stock keyboard, the launcher got stuck in a crash loop that required a restart, and the camera preview is always full screen, even if I'm taking 8mp photos. Photo comes out correctly though. Not sure if that's a bug.
WiFi and mobile connection are working flawlessly so far. Battery life is comparable if not better that b221.
Another thing I'd like to add, I got my HAM from Wind Mobile. On the stock ROM it would take forever if at all for the phone to switch to roaming when I was in an away zone or deep inside a large building. I'd miss critical calls, texts and emails. Now the phone transfers to roaming mode under the proper circumstances almost instantly.
Will continue testing, thanks so much!
V0.2 has resolved the WiFi issues I had on V0.1, WiFi connects everytime and no mysterious turning off of the WiFi. I also haven't experienced any "Sleep of Death" issues either. Been running this version since 6am this morning and no issues thusfar. Great job!!!!
Keep up the great work
Started using it since it came out, very happy so far. Bluetooth audio seems fine with just an occasional twitch but the first run went fine and then bluetooth cut out and would not be switched back on. Had to restart. Since then all is well.
Been trying to reduce power consumption without much luck.
Facebook video playback
I have very big problem, I can't play videos on facebook
I can't play online video。but cam play video in soft Decompression。
Hello, thank you for the job.
I can't send MMS (original application or third-party application), only SMS.
I seem to be unable to switch on bluetooth every now and then, requiring a reboot.
When I do reboot, bluetooth is already switched on after boot is complete.

Although G800F and G800H share the same name they are not related in terms of hardware due to the different SoCs used (Exynos vs. Snapdragon).
Hence please do not ask for support or ROMs for the G800H.
Important note: It is possible that flashing this ROM can cause efs partition issues. Therefore it is strongly recommended to make a backup of your efs partition before flashing this ROM. This can be done via TWRP.

Disclaimer:
You flash this image at your own responsibility. I am not responsible for any damage that might be caused by flashing this image (bricked device, lost data, ...)
Flashing this kernel image will trigger the KNOX counter, so your warranty will be void.
Applications that use KNOX (e.g. "Private Mode") might not work anymore when returning to the stock ROM, as the device is regarded as compromised. Do not flash this ROM if you need those applications.
The image is only for Exynos3470 based S5 Mini variants SM-G800F/M/Y.
It might be instable, crash your device, drain your battery, or even might damage your smartphone (e.g. if an USB-OTG device drains too much power)
Some users reported that their touch-screen stopped working permanently after some weeks of usage. For some user's (two at the moment including me) NFC stopped working permanently. Probably this issues are not related to this ROM as also many stock user's complain about hardware issues (random reboots, black screens, unresponsive touchscreen) but you have been warned.
Backup your data before flashing and check if the original firmware is present (e.g. at SamMobile)

Before you start:
Backup your data, like call history, contacts, sms, WhatsApp messages, favourite app settings that are on internal and external sd (by using Titanium Backup or other apps available on PlayStore). At least all internal data will be lost in any case. If you have bad luck you might also loose data from your external sd card.
Download:
Odin3-v3.07 (it is contained in CF-Auto-Root)
TWRP 3.0.0 recovery image [25/03/2016] (AndroidFileHost Mirror)
CM 14.1 ROM for G800F/M/Y (Android File Host)
Google Apps (contains Google Play, ...) for Android 7.1. The following is recommended:
Open GApps Project, Platform:ARM, Android:7.1, Variant: whatever you prefer (e.g. "mini" or "nano")
Install recovery:
Reboot your device into Odin mode: turn off your device, then press Volume-Down + Home + Power button at the same time and release them.
Confirm the following warning message with the Volume-Up button.
Connect your device to your PC via USB
Make sure the device driver's are installed on your PC
Start Odin
In Odin select PDA and select the recovery image (recovery.tar.md5)
Check that only "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" is set
Click on "Start": the kernel image should be flashed now and the device should reboot afterwards. By flashing the recovery, your warranty will be void.
After the recovery flashing process was successful, power of your device. If not restart into Download mode and flash again or flash the stock rom.
Before you flash:
You need the latest TWRP recovery (see above). Otherwise TWRP might not be able to flash the ROM. This is because TWRP checks now if the device is "supported".
Wipe the device to avoid problems with remaining files from the old installation (see instructions below). This also applies if you already installed an older version of CM 14.1.
Flash CyanogenMod:
Reboot into recovery mode (Press Volume-Up + Home + Power button)
If you come from a stock ROM, this is your opportunity to make a Backup of your phone(Backup, then select Boot, System, Data, then swipe to backup). Note that the recovery might fail to restore the backup when you want to go back to the stock ROM (for me it got stuck after a restore during boot. But the backup was made with a different version of TWRP, so it might work in general) - simply do not expect too much of it at the moment.
If you haven't copied the installation files yet, you can now copy the GApps and CyanogenMod zip to your internal sd or external sd (be careful not to put the files into the data directory of the internal sd card as this will be deleted in the next step). Be sure that MTP is enabled (inside Mounts, click on Enable MTP), then, from your pc, copy the files. If MTP does not work from recovery, try it directly from Android or remove the external sd card from the phone and put it into your PC.
Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System and Data (inside Wipe -> Advanced Wipe). Do not report problems if you did not wipe those partitions as the problems are most probably related to this!
Install the CM ROM zip-package
Install the GApps zip-package
How to root:
No SuperSu is needed as CyanogenMod already comes with integrated root support. Root access is disabled by default.
You normally do not need root access. If you want to activate root access for apps, do the following:
Open the Settings menu, select "About Phone"
Tap on the "Build number" entry seven times. You should be notified, that the developer settings are now active.
Open the Settings menu, select "Developer options". Enable root access by selecting "Apps" in the "Root-Access" setting.
In case you want to go back to the stock ROM:
lf you do not have the latest ROM for the G800F you can download it from SamMobile
Reboot your phone into Odin mode
Open Odin on your PC and connect your smartphone with your PC via USB
If you have a zip-file unzip it so that you have a .tar.md5 file
In Odin click on the PDA button and select the .tar.md5 file. Then press "Start".
Normally the stock rom fails to boot as the data from CM is still on the data partition. So after flashing the stock rom, reboot into recovery mode (it looks a bit different now). First wipe the data partition, then wipe the cache.
Reboot

Developers welcome
At the moment the G800F/M/Y specific port of this ROM is only done by two persons (CTXz and hennymcc). Although Unjustified Dev also works on this ROM he does not own an Galaxy S5 Mini but a Galaxy Light which has a similar base but is different when it comes to camera, nfc and other components (maybe even slightly when it comes to audio and radio).
Help from other developers is always welcome. See the bug/feature section and this thread to see what is missing. Just give some short info (here in this thread or PM) that you want to work on some issue or feature so that work can be synchronized. Maybe there are also other devs that want to work with you on the same issue.
Knowledge in how the kernel works and good programming skills in C, C++ and Java would be nice but not necessary for all problems. At least you should be able to build the ROM and test your changes yourself but you do not need experience in porting ROMs.
Thanks to CTXz, Psyafter, spookcity138 and ayke for working on this ROM.

This is just a test build. CM 14.1 is not released yet and still instable. There are lots of known issues.
Here a short list of known problems:
First incoming call has no sound
Camera app crashes when you try to switch between camera and video recording mode (in this case: restart the app and recording will work)
Messages with "Browser crashed" will occur from time to time
The default browser does not always display all the text that was typed into a text field.
This was an awesome ROM but now I propose LineageOS 14.1
It works perfect (at least until now) for me ? great job
I hope @ayke brings OTA updates here to make everything easier

This rom is really great! Smooth and without big issues. Everything works as you said and here are some screenshots of Antutu if someone need them. Thanks devs!
What's the problem with first income call? The first one is the only one with no sound?
Great job Henny

Hey !
Thanks for your amazing job (all of you), I don't have any browser crashes since I use chrome and I remove the stock browser, I also don't have any crash with my camera. I use Google Camera for that. Here is a list of bugs I've noticed:
- Chrome (stable) has crashed the first time I've opened it (only one time, that's why I did say that I don't have any browser crashes)
- Sometimes, something like "MTP Host" crashes..
- In Allo, while sending a message, there's a little sound, that's not a bug since it's in the app... But that sound is garbled (I don't know if that word is correct, I've used Google Translate for it)
I guess that's all..
Also, I don't have robotic voice... Good bye ! And thanks again
EDIT: About the "MTP Host" app.. it's the download app :/
Bugs
Hi there, thanks for your work on the rom really enjoying it and love Android 7.
Throughout my use I have discovered a bug with YouTube (not sure if it's the app or rom, but reporting anyway as did not happen on Mm) where changing into 720p causes the app to zoom into the upper left corner of the video. It can be remedied buy only using 360p but is rather annoying.
Again thanks for the work on the rom and all the best in the future. ?
Anyone have the link for xposed framework of this version?

Well,as of now my sim card is not detected on CM14 for some strange reason. I seem to be alone in that. The robotic voice,if I remember correctly is linked to using the LP libs. Maybe someday we'll see official MM for the g800f. [emoji3]

Stuck in bootloop...
Thanks for the great work!
Is there any 120hz option in the settings?
So far, after following your instructions, I've been stuck on the Android logo on boot.
Any suggestions? This is flashing from stock firmware 12.75, factory resetting through TWRP, flashing aosp.zip, shutting the phone off, fastboot flashing the other yoshino img, and restarting.
Excited to see where this goes! Esp. once the fingerprint issues are sorted out.
Can add md5?Because the file size of the file I downloaded and Google Drive is different
wow~Great! but is the photo better than before(Sony ROM)?
Thread cleaned
Keep on topic and English only please.
Great ROM, however, I'm noticing you can't update the system webview from the one that is included (it's version 61.something?).
I've tried installing Chrome / Android System Webview / etc and changing the Webview Implemetation in Developer Options to one of them instead, but they don't show up in the options.
I've also tried installing those applications to system through the OpenGapps full installer, but then no options at all show up under Webview Implementation (it appears the old one is removed but the new one is not recognized).
I did some research and found this:
https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Notes-for-Android-7.x
It would seem before the ROM is built, it has to have specified compatible webviews. Is there any way around this right now?
Thanks so much!!

Me too. It doesn´t work. I tried it four or five times but it won´t boot.
What I did:
I entered TWRP and wiped (Advanced wipe-> System, Dalvik, cache, Data)
I installed Zip and Gapps and shutdown the phone.
I installed software via Fastboot
I started the phone and it stuck on android logo.

One thing that come in my mind is your encrypted data, may be this is a problem. I'm disable this long time ago and don't use it. You can try to disable this too. After installing firmware FORMAT your data via twrp, but it delete ALL files from your internal storage.

A great big thanks to you for this! Especially when it comes to getting Gcam HDR+ going on this. Once fingerprint is working I can definitely see using this as a daily driver...
One question, when you use Gcam HDR+ on this, does it still display the early stock image distortion from the camera? Not that wide-angle fisheye effect, but the actual wavey lines and such? I imagine sony's fix was proprietary algorithms in the stock sony camera app...
Not sure if this is still relevant, but this post on an AOSP (for XZ) thread mentions that the fingerprint issue (exactly same, works until reboot) is due to magisk v15, where a beta version makes it work properly. Maybe try different magisk versions?

No, fingerprint had issue by itself not by magisk. Yes gcam had some distorsing on images.

[DISCONTINUED][ROM][9.0][SM-G930F] Lightheart OS [30/10/2020]

Lightheart 1.0 - The key to speed.
Hi everyone. My name is Skulldron and for those of you who do recognise me, know me as the creator of Project Pixel, another one of the greatest ways to emulate the Pixel Experience, whilst keeping all the benefits of using OneUI and its stock optimized drivers as its base. Today I'm going to introduce something, different. Over the years of working on Touchwiz based ROMs, I've learnt the description of every little apk, every little permission, what it accepts and what it rejects, its pros and its cons. As a result of this experience, I have one of the best debloat lists out there, with each item on the debloat list, being tested, through extensive testing, and it goes over every file and every partition known in the OneUI OS. This exact same debloat script was used in Project Pixel, which has received positive review after positive review for how efficient and how lightweight OneUI became after the debloat. Today however, I present to you Lightheart OS, a new project that I will be building myself and updating monthly. Today I showcase Lionheart, the Lineage OS to my Cyanogenmod.
Key Features:
1. Heavily Debloated System: The debloat script that was made by me, has over 250+ debloated permissions, apks and other files.
2. Better Battery Performance due to Efficiency - With the removal of an incredible amount of bloat, along with better performance and lesser services, you should be looking at better SOTs and better standby times.
3. Kernel Power Control: With MTweaks and Magisk, you will be able to control your device’s clock speed and be able to force higher GPU and CPU Clock, when doing more intensive tasks such as gaming.
4. Better Kernel Performance - Due to the deepness of the debloat, the kernel now has more RAM and more space to be more efficient and allow it to focus on less threads at once.
5. Latest available patch with the promise of updates every month - Every month an update is released, the ROM will be updated along with it, with a time frame of 1-2 weeks.
6. Restored some stock Google Permissions - Some stock google framework was restored, such as the default setup wizard.
7. All Essential Samsung Features have been kept - All essential OneUI features have been kept alive, for the sole purpose of necessity.
8. Completely Deknoxed -The ROM has been Deknoxed and FRP lock measures have been disabled
9. VoLTE Supported
Individual Features:
1. AdAway
2. Eleven Music
3. Files GO
4. GBoard
5. Android Pie AOSP Emojis
6. Lightheart X Boot Animation
7. AOSP System Sounds
8. Samsung Gallery (Stripped Down and lightened to improve performance)
9. Samsung's Stock Camera with HDR parameter changes, debloated and additional video modes
10. SystemUI Tuner (Provides battery stats along with other useful customizations - Check QS icons and add it to QS Panel to view)
11. YouTube Vanced (Ad-free Youtube)
12. Mtweaks (Has Hardware Control - Similar to Kernel Adiutor but more tailored to Exynos)
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: (Backup everything, contacts, photos etc.)
1. Download the zip and download the latest Magisk (ROM will not boot if Magisk is not flashed due to encryption procedures)
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik Cache and Cache
3. Flash the zip and flash Magisk.
Notes:
- To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
- Set Trebuchet as default launcher, for better battery savings. OneUI Home was only included for its app switcher.
Changelog:
1.0 - Initial Release
If changes are made, they will be highlighted in the next post.

Yes it is running the base from a Note FE. In particular the SuperLegerra ROM
wow, ... and echo cancellation works perfect ... but two things that I miss so far
the option "kill app back button" in the settings -> developer options ... please don't forget to build-in
the possibility to mount the SD card in the file system
Both options are default in LOS ... and yes, I know it was an initial release.
Thx for your work. we are hopefully waiting for the improvements!

Info regarding phone stuck on boot pic
Hi there,
I have little experience with custom roms etc. I had installed LineageOS some moths ago as my phone was working poorly on stock rom and now with LOS 17.1 was starting to have problems again. Like an hour ago decided after some research to install this rom. However, after flasing the rom and magisk (I couldnt flash Gapps as error 20 appeared), my phone got completely stuck on boot picture (SAMSUNG GALAXY S7; POWERED BY ANDROID). I have both tried to get into twrp (previously installed) and download mode. No luck in any of the cases. I have tried to do the same from odin, to flash again twrp. However, as I cannot access download mode, I didnt work.
Now, I´m trying my best to figure out how to install some OS and continue from there, or at least be able to flash twrp and install another ROM.
I would much appreciate any advice in the matter.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: NEW SITUATION. No need of help anymore (by now)

Does mobile hotspot work?
I've been looking for a ROM that has kept the Samsung gallery and camera so I want to try this ROM. but I need to be able to use mobile hotspot so please let me know if it works fine. Thx
Hello, the ROM works great. There are some minor things. Like always on display does not work with option to tap the screen to show for 10 seconds. Also for some reason I can't instal Revolut from the play store. And lastly Titanium backup does not restore all the apps. I could not figure out a way how to make that work.
The hotspot works fine on mine.
I had the same issue with Titanium backup.
In the end I used split screen and installed each app from the play store, then restored data only.
Has anyone got xposed working?
Gapps
Do I need to flash gapps or is it included?
I'm currently using lineage is 16 with gapps. Do I need to flash gapps again if flashing a ROM again? Sorry I'm a newbie.

@Skulldron, thanks for the ROM, works great and it's stable. Just few things. Could you please update the Adaway app? There is a newer stable version on xda available. I tried to update it myself but it was not possible. Also could you please fix the Always on display function? The tap on screen option does not work.

Youtube and Adaway can be removed with System App remover or Link2sd from Play Store. Then you restart the S7 and install Adaway from github and Vanced.app
I do like this rom, espicially the first boot right after install, which was really fast, made an impression. Probably the most battery friendly and lite-weight One UI-Rom one can find. One usability problem for me was the *missing feature that increased touch sensitivity*. With my screenprotector on, I have to push harder and several times before successfully pulling down the notification bar or when writing or selecting.
Is it just me or is SmartSwitch taking a long time/not restoring messages? I get to the part when it would start restoring messages but then it just never loads.. other then that, the ROM is great!

Thank you for the guide. Here's some additional resources/changes that can be added in the post:
- A52s bootloader/modem collection repository
- OrangeFox Custom Recovery, same as TWRP but with a different UI
- SafetyNet and (some) Knox features can still work with the correct adjustments. See the SafetyNet fix for Magisk (Zygisk) or custom ROM's such as RayOS (One UI 4.1), NcX (One UI 5.0)
- Mesa's Custom Kernel, greatly improves device's performance
Hoping to see the list enhanced soon.

Thank you for the links, thread is now updated.
Quick question, with MCK, should I wipe everything before/after flashing and will it work with PE+ GSI?

You shouldn’t wipe anything when flashing the kernel. If the stock kernel works fine, I don’t see why mine shouldn’t
Everything is working perfectly, thanks for the guide. I installed the PixelExperience GSI but for some reason Fingerprint sensor is not working. The process is stuck on "Touch the sensor" and the sensor is not lighting up. Yes, I set the color of fingerprint sensor to White (and even tried all other colors).
I even have the following options checked
- Enable Extra Sensor
- Enable workaround for broken fingerprint sensor
- Enable workaround for white-ish screen
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know what could be the issue, maybe try to google or try disabling and enabling the fingerprint lock again.
I have tried few GSI Roms. Here is my summary:
Android 13
- AOSP, Android 13, No image with GAPPs pre-installed and cannot seem to install it. Tried NikGAPPs, and LiteGAPPs, both didn't work
- Google GSI, Android 13, same issue
- Pixel Experience, Android 13, GAPPs pre-installed but Fingerprint sensor won't get detected.
Android 12
- AOSP, Android 12, GAPPs pre-installed, Fingerprint sensor detected (changing color to white). Will stick to it unless there is an issue detected.

Thanks for the feedback, have you tried any ROMs instead of GSIs?
You have links for them in this thread.

Thanks for your summary,
Is there any experience with MicroG on this device with AOSP 13?

I'm on AOSP 13 now, but perhabs it's better to go back to 12. I'm very interested in the AOSP with the GAPPs pre-installed. Could you share a link to the file?

I got the image from AOSP under the official Android 12/12L section. You can find release here. The exact image I got is the system-squeak-arm64-ab-vndklite-gapps-secure.img.xz one since the standard gapps one came with an app called "superuser" which I couldn't seem to uninstall (I tried the scripts to remove supersu). This caused my banking apps to not run. That is why I installed the "secure" one and then installed Magisk and added my banking apps to the defylist.

I think VoLTE was available as an option in one of the ROM I tested but I don't remember exactly. Currently AOSP 12 doesn't support it. Hotspot worked on every ROM just fine.

Hi Mian,
Thanks for your response. When I typed my question I realized that in the end I want to have and de-googled phone. So I changed my question in the direction of MicroG. I didn't expect you to be so quick with answering.

I haven't tried MicroG in any of the ROM. I just to have as little Google apps as possible but if you do find a good guide, let me know, I will try to use a de-googled phone.
Thx, all worked.

I've installed MicroG. But it seems AOSP doen't allaw support system spoofs signature. Play services (GmsCore) is installed but without the spoofed signature it can't do much I guess...
I have been using AOSP Android 12 for the past week or so. Most of the things just plain works but somethings don't. Here is the list of things that are not working so you can decide if the hassle of installing GSI is worth it or not.
- Proximity Sensor is worse than it was in OneUI. Yes, it is a virtual sensor but on OneUI, it worked better. Now, it is worse. More often than not, it turns on the screen during the call. It would have been better if it simply didn't work.
- The viewport of default camera App in the AOSP displays picture in 4:3 but the camera hardware is giving out 16:9, so the viewport was squeezed. After installing GCam everything is good.
- Fingerprint Sensor simply doesn't work in-app like those in banking apps. It works on the lock screen but nowhere else.
- USB Audio Devices don't work. I have a USB-C to A OTG where I used to insert my headphones. On OneUI they used to work but here they don't. Storage devices work.
- 120 Hz felt smoother on OneUI.
Hello everyone
I managed to install LineageOS with working GApps and camera using this guide, so a big thanks to everyone who worked on flashing this phone
If anyone wants to install it, you need to:
Chose a bgN package (I installed this one : https://sourceforge.net/projects/an...UNOFFICIAL-arm64_bgN-vndklite.img.xz/download). It includes the GApps. You won't be able to install GApps after installing a vanilla (bvS / bvN) package. For some reasons, the /system partition is too small.
For unlocking camera and install magisk, just flash this kernel : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/kernel-12-13-a528b-n-mesas-custom-kernel-r4.4490653/
I also installed magiskhide prop conf module, but I'm not sure it changed anything and the camera fix was probably already in the MCK. You can find it here anyway : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...safetynet-prop-edits-and-more-v6-1-2.3789228/
