Great review ?.
Men 12000,- for pro versjonen er en skandale.

Thanks :good:

Nope.. still no AOD. you can have the clock show always on when it is on the charger tho. That is the closest you will get without modding I guess.

Future of file sharing?

With the demise of Megaupload and the discontinued sharing services of sites like Filesonic, 4Shared, Fileserve and Filepost, what will be the fate of sharing files for Android? I'm sure many sites will follow in the same footsteps as others so what would our alternatives be as a community?
All the other sites you named... They are being shut down as well?

Most of them have totally disabled any type of file sharing and some have enabled only uploading and downloading your own content. Most other sites will probably do the same thing.
I doubt file sharing sites as we know it will disappear altogether. The problem with MegaUpload was that they were actually guilty as all hell and they knew it. Employee emails showed that they knew that most of their subscribers share copyrighted works and even the employees themselves would share pirated stuff with each other. That along with their size was why the feds went for them.
I suspect that the sites that have taken down their sharing features have the same problem (their internal communications show that they acknowledge and encourage piracy on their sites) so they are doing whatever they can to minimise the damage. Other sites have shut down their "uploader rewards programmes" which can be used against them in court to prove that they are encouraging and profiting directly from piracy.
Now what the smarter sites have to do is avoiding the mistakes that these sites have made and comply swiftly with takedown notices and stay under the radar. Because of the MU case we'll probably see a huge drop in pirated stuff on file sharing sites for a while (I'm sure many uploaders/subscribers of MU are getting cold feet since the feds pretty much now have all their details) but for legitimate users there really is nothing to worry about.
The only solution will be back to BBS, IRC and FTP server?

After everything got censored, the DarkNet will emerge.
e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freenet
After reading about Darknet, I feel like we need to start wearing neon outfits with spikes, drive around in battle cars and talk to martian woman with three boobies
I use Dropbox to host a lot of tweaking files. The links on my Downloads page are all served by Dropbox.
I also have Box and Minus accounts but have yet to use them. Wishing I grabbed the 50gb of Box storage when it was available
Not that I'm hosting pirated content but how does the Government's reach extend into servers like Dropbox, Box, and Minus?

Are you asking which sites would be best to pirate Android apps now that some file sharing sites are shutting down? Isn't that against the TOS of this site?

I'm pretty sure he is talking about ROMS and other mods, not illegal content.
Ftp's, irc and newsgroup's will be used to file share the same as before those http sites existed.
Dropbox is good, I use it all the time.

Wow, someone woke up at Leeco ?
The website exist but all links are dead ?
They are getting ready for tomorrow's US launch... but there are no signs so far of sources for any LeTV x800
Maybe some rom the x900 can be matched to our phone?
They even removed the sources for those 3 smartphones :/
Right guys I think its time for a change of tactic. They have ignored the petition with 1200+ signatures, they ignore individual requests. So can i suggest anyone who is not happy logon to the lemall.us facebook page and leave a feedback review, it sits at present at a score of 3.8 from 238 reviews.
I am fairly sure should all x800 US owners who signed the petition leave feedback of 1 star and negative feedback this rating will go through the floor. Maybe they will then pay some attention as its 1 of their income streams.
Saddens me we need to do that but we have all bought a product in good faith and have been treated like a gangrenous foot!!!

shame you have to be in the usa we never get chance for much in the uk
I barely meet the requirements, but would be interested!
Sounds awesome to have a extra battery option. Will the battery case retain wireless charging capabilities?
@ZEROLEMON_OFFICIAL I would be interested in testing one of these out. I have never used a battery case so this would be a first for me. I have sent a pm for consideration.
I meet all the criteria, and it sounds interesting, but how does it affect the longterm life of the internal battery. It wouldn't matter if the battery was removable like all my previous phones, but that will never return I'm sure.
I've wondered if it would be better to be able to select which battery the phone uses, internal or external. This would allow the internal to be used normally and switch to the external when needed - with a slight delay so the phone never loses power. Either this has already been done and I'm ignorant having never used a battery case, or there are hardware restrictions.
Best of luck
Hello!
An XDA user for over 10 years, would love to try your product.
Would love try this great for business trips.
I'm most definitely interested and believe I'm a solid candidate to test, review and provide adequate feedback for this product. See my pm for further information.
It's a shame that you guys only ship in the US because I would've loved to try one (Italian guy here) especially because I meet the requirements with a large margin.
The thing that I'm most interested about, like one other user, is how this case will affect the life of the internal battery considering that it will keep charged at 100% stressing it out. Do you guys have a solution for this problem?
Yeah...sorry for that~

General [WARNING] Calling stops working outside of China for the Chinese version

At least three people on the 4pda forum have reported that the Chinese version of the phone restricts making and receiving calls outside of China after two weeks of use.
Source 1: "Your phone is best suited for a specific region. There are restrictions on the calling function in your region. Please contact your place of purchase to resolve the problem."
Source 2: "Today it's stopped receiving calls, and when I try to make a call it bails out. Had to reset to factory settings. Activated on Jan, 23rd."
Source 3.
This is quite scary and unexpected. Both people use ColorOS and have yet to install the global firmware.
I wouldn't recommend buying the Chinese version for using outside of China until this issue is sorted out.
The only solution so far has been to take/send the phone to an official Oppo/OnePlus service center to unlock it. This must be done only after the calling restriction becomes active (rebooting the phone ~11 times is enough).
OnePlus 11 versions/models:
PHB110: China (region lock)
CPH2447: India (region lock)
CPH2449_EEA: EU (lock free)
CPH2449_GLO: International (lock free)
CPH2451: North America (lock free)

No idea why all the links have been removed from the message but whatever.
4pda distributes warez, correct, but all the links were for a valid topic which has nothing to do with that.
Never heard of them distributing malware though. Must be something to do with the war I guess.
4pda has a ton of talented developers and some ROMs are basically developed over there but looks like the rules here have changed.
My post had nothing to do with warez.
Can I post a link to Google com?
Over 15 thousand results for 4pda at xda-developers.
Yep, its true.
You get message about region lock, then device working for some time with calls. Then calls become disabled.

Is this specific to OnePlus 11? I've never heard of this restriction/issue before.
It could actually be very bad for the consumer. Imagine a Chinese goes to visit another country for more than two weeks. They may find themselves being unable to make/receive calls which could result in a loss of life. Whoever implemented this hasn't thought it through. Either calling works or doesn't. Breaking the feature at a random time? This is horrible and inhumane.

I was able to make phone calls too in the beginning despite warnings until one day it suddenly stopped working. I posted a video about this on a Chinese platform. Oppo/onpleus support commented on my video that my device was locked because it was first activated outside of China. I was advised to visit a local Oppo service center along with proof of purchase for them to unlock.
I think this was activated with an OTA. I am still on A06 and haven't seen this warning yet.
Activated 24th Jan, first time outside China.
And anybody with OXYGEN OS also having this problem. Software is there, flashing should be possible.

Hey bro, I'll get my OP 11 in a few days, I've seen similar problems in the China digital forum but I'm curious how this region lock works? Does it require a Chinese sim card? Or does it require a connection to a Chinese network, like a Chinese IP address or something.... I own both of these things, a valid Chinese sim card, and a Chinese VPN.... If OPPO is relying on these things to determine the region, that would be great. (I really don't want to mail the phone to a OnePlus service center even if they can fix it, the OnePlus service center in Europe is in Poland, which is too far away) The biggest concern is that OPPO relies on the network country code to determine the region.
Man, and I was really considering buying this phone in the UK. What's the best option, to ask seller to send a sealed unit so it doesn't get activated in China, or get them to install oxigenos and lock bootloader?
