Do you have some info about it ?
Here, there is a tool that works to extract super.img : http://newandroidbook.com/tools/imjtool.html
I tried it myself :

Exactly! TWRP is just necessary to make full system backups (and yeah sometimes flash .zip's). With "just" root you can still do pretty much everything else.

Personal choice depends on what you want to do. Some are attempting to do the same as a user on the A51, create a super.img with phh GSI inserted to flash in odin. The guy got it working on the A51 but too much ****ery to try myself.

too deep for me ill try most things but thats above my level

It seems like since the BL is unlockable/the phone can be rooted, we'll probably get ROMs at least for the Exynos eventually, no? Just ordered an S20+ Exynos and I look forward to root, but it'd be cool to see some aftermarket ROMs.

Back to basics...

Hello there,
In an attempt to root my phone (which I was successful in), I accidentally removed the default photo app that comes standard with my S4 Mini (and a few other things...). Is there any way to freshly reinstall Kitkat? (4.2.2)
Also, I'm kinda new... and I wasn't sure where to post this, so if there's a more appropriate area for this thread, please let me know.
Thanks for reading

4.2.2 is JB, not KK.

I think he meant 4.4.2.
This would fit better in the Q&A section.
But to answer your question : just reflash the firmware with Odin.

Nah, my mistake, it's definitely Jellybean.
Ah that's great. Where can I get hold of the firmware?

Themes / Apps / Mods (APP)Alioth Software Proximeter

After installing LOS in Alioth, I had masive problems with accidental device unlock while placing the device in my pocket. To counter that I created an APP that really helped me. It requires to be installed by magisk in order to work(permissions issue). Here is the link to github.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I haven't tested if it works on xiaomi.eu but i would suggest to wait for the next update with the permission fixes.
It locks your phone when you unlock it by accident in your pocket. Imagine it like a pocket mode.

I uploaded an updated version. You can try that and tell us if it works as expected.
Hi, I have the same problem. I'm on PE. How this works? I really want to know.

It checks light condition and inclination so it can detect if your phone is in your pocket.

Yes, Magisk works fine on A13.
Just make sure you boot the patched boot.img file and direct install. To avoid possible issues
@Rifle003 Welcome to XDA! You can also click the yellow How To Guide quick filter located at the top of the list of threads in this section, and you'll find several helpful threads about rooting this phone - at least some of which include information about rooting Android 13 - which that itself is no different than rooting Android 12.

That actually increases your chance of issues. If it successfully boots the "fastboot boot"'d one, but messes up the "direct installed" one, then you've incremented the antirollback counter, but now will fail to boot, which could lead to a brick if you messed something up like forgot to install the bootloader to the second slot.
The best way to install is to "select and patch a file" from magisk, then "fastboot flash" it to both slots. Of course also make sure that you "fastboot flash" the bootloader to both slots as well (prior to installing A13).

Question A12 TWRP not booting

Hey, I want to flash PE13 on my moto g60.
I am trying to boot to A12 TWRP from windows cmd but my device gets stuck on moto boot splash screen as soon as the process gets finished on cmd.
Attaching the CMD Screenshot.
I'm running android 12 stock rom. Saw the closed TWRP thread, someone else has also mentioned the same issue but was not replied to with a solution. Can you please help me out, this is the only smartphone I have for two weeks.

That's weird.... Platform tools are from the Google's official page? Just checking.
If yes...then honestly I don't know.
Maybe @Raghu varma can help with an idea on this.
Did you not clear the data before flashing the twrp?
I cleared the data. Tried flashing it from another windows PC. It worked. Weird.

Question ROM flashing in TMO LE2127

Hello guys, I just got this phone upgrading from my OP5T and I used to flash roms and kernels with TWRP, I see things have changed and I would not like to destroy my phone. I have always liked

trying new roms and messing with my phone, would really like to be able to flash Nameless or PE. I have seen that if you get the TMobile variant things get a little tricky with firmwares and phone versions. I got my SIM unlocked and I already have my unlock file to unlock my bootloader. Havent done that because I dont really know if my ROM flash would work.
Do I need to unlock my bootloader?
Can I already flash my ROM files directly from adb or do I need to convert my phone to EU with TSM?
I have seen that people mess with modules that I need to backup, is this only needeed to convert to EU version or would I need this for Nameless
?
Do I flash firmwares via fastboot/adb or do they come with local updates? Which I do not have because of TMO.
I have already asked a couple questions in the forum but I need to clarify myself with ROM flashing and prerequerisites with my 2127 version. I would really appreciate some help about this, Ive never tried getting help from forums and looks like this phone community is pretty active.
Go to the Nameless thread and follow the instructions to the letter and you will be fine!

No, just make sure you follow every step in sequence. Read the instructions a couple times to make sure you fully understand everything. Like are you suppose to be on Android 11 or 12 as an example.
