How to select "none" as incoming calls ringotne - Realme X2 Questions & Answers

Hi! I need to select "none" as incoming calls ringtone, but it seems not possible (possible only for notifications and messages). I need that my phone will ring only for calls incoming from some contacts. On other Android devices i select "none" and i choose custom ringtone only for those contacts.
Help please.

Reminders with Contact Phone Number

Is there any way to add in an appointment in the calendar a reminder that show on screen a contact number or any other phone number.
For example "20:30 call James 98334455" so that if you push in the number it calls inmedeatly?
I think it would be very usefull...at least for me.
Thanks

Outgoing SMS black list

Recently I've sent accidently an SMS to a wrong person from my Contacts.
Is there any application that would allow me to create an outgoing SMS "black list" which would prevent me (or my phone), accidently or not, to send an SMS to this person?
Thnx
There's a few call blockers that will do sms but not sure about outgoing. Why not just delete the contact? Or change the name to make it less likely to call/sms by mistake?

[Q] Group ringtone profile?

Is there an app or any way native on the phone to set an individual ringtone for a group of contacts? Or set a certain ringtone for people in your contacts and a certain one for other calls? The only way I have figured out is to set the contact ringtone individually. I am running Virtuous. Thanks.

How to reset contact ringtone to default?

Hi,
Today I tried setting a customer ringtone for a contact but changed my mind afterwards. Now I found out that there is no option for setting a "Default" ringtone.
Custom contact applications allow you to select a "default ringtone" but it's not the same and other applications such was WhatsApp messenger still consider "dafault ringtone" a custom one. I checked with other unchanged contacts which state "Dafault" as their ringtone. When I use custom contact app such as GO Contacts it states "Default ringtone notification (Beep)".
Does anyone know how to actually reset contact ringtone to default? I tried searching everywhere to no avail. Workaround such as export to sim card, delete, import is the only option I found.
Thank you.
Just searched for the same solution and I found this:
"Luckily the Ringtone Maker application from the Android play store has a Contact ringtone management option in the top right settings dropdown, that has the added ‘default ringtone’ option at the very top of the ringtone options list."

just look for your contacts and set a "new" ringtone, then you choose the default one
"Default" is not an available option
Hi, I have the same problem as Bledula. If I try to set the contact ringtone back to the default one I get the option to choose "Default ringtone" from the dropdown box. This doesn't have the desired effect, though, because it sets the sound for an incoming text/whatsapp message of that contact to the default ringtone that is used for incoming calls.
I tried n3tchart's suggestion, which indeed allows me to view the ringtone for each contact whithin the Ringtone Maker app. All the contacts whose ringtone I have tempered with are set to "Default", while the one that I have tempered with is set to "Default ringtone". The problem still persists, because even within Ringtone Maker, the option "Default" is unavailable in the corresponding dropdown box.
Does any know if there is some config file of the address book that I could edit by hand? Maybe there I could manually edit "Default ringtone" to "Default"...
Many thanks!!
a not-so-elegant workaround
Okay, so I looked into some more. I could find a configuration file that allowed me to edit this thing by hand. However, I found a kinda dirty way around the problem.
First, disable (delete) the Whatsapp account from the "Accounts & sync" settings menu. Then, delete the contact that has the ringtone issue and re-add the contact manually. Finally, add the Whatsapp account in the "Accounts & Sync" settings menu again. That's it. The contact's ringtone is set to "Default" again rather than "Default ringtone".
Note that just deleting and re-adding the contact doesn't fix the problem if you don't disable Whatsapp syncing.

[Q] Help configuring SIP in CM 10.1

I'm trying to configure a SIP server with the built in SIP client in CM 10.1.
I am using two different servers, one from simonics and one from pbxes.
Both are configured correctly, and can make outgoing calls as long as the "Receive Incoming Calls" box is checked.
For the simonics server, it will not make outgoing calls until I check the Receive Incoming Calls box. Afterwards, I can uncheck it and it'll let me make calls for a little while before needing to be rechecked again.
The pbxes server doesn't allow me to make outgoing calls unless Receive Incoming Calls is checked and remains checked.
In both cases, I have played with all the settings, TCP vs UDP, 5060 vs 5070, and both options under "Send keep-alive" (Automatic or Always) doesn't fix anything.
How do I fix this so that I don't have to check Receive Incoming Calls to make outgoing calls with CM 10.1's SIP?
