When I pressed a power button, screen trun off just around 1 mins, and wake up byself, seems cannot sleep or suspend, How can i fix it?
by adb command i trying
echo mem > /sys/power/state is work.
echo freeze > /sys/power/state is work
echo standby > /sys/power/state not work and get noting
power menu to sleep
Without problem ,but wifi broken and never trun on , until restart

So the problem is when i go into certain apps and then
A) Press sleep
B) Quit (by pressing back button)
The soft-key/button backlight on Samsung Gio stays on BUT the screen will go off if i press sleep.
-The button-backlight DOES NOT turn of even when its been in sleep mode foor an hour

Rooted devices and install GioKlight app, or open "/sys/class/leds/button-backlight/brightness" file on text editor and replace "255" to "0" for advanced user
Do you use stock rom?
Or a custom rom?

So, step by step.
Today my HOX runs out power > when was 1% it turn off > then i try turn on > work for around 5 mins and die > i put in to charger > red led flash so i leave him for 3 mins to charge up > when i come back HOX was soo hot > i tried to turn on, just started, shown HTC logo and died > i put him for longer charge > i came back in 15 mins and tried to turn on but then nothing happend, led was still flashing but wont even turn to htc logo > i ask on HTC Chat and they told me to enter bootloader and choose factory reset (-.- yes) > but there was no any idea and hox was getting warmer so i used factory reset > then leave him for next 15 min but again **** happend > i throw my phone on flour > any way he started to launch > start and i get total clear phone
And here is problem (Sorry for that introduction but i think it changes little bit my problem)
Everything were fine, I was even a little happy because finally i get clear phone, not thash but then i get into Aplications and saw there is used 4,76 gb of my 6gb storage. I ask HTC and they let me do factory reset form android background, i have cleared storage and nothing changed.
Sorry for my "english". I hope you can help me, don't want to send phone to service. I dont have root, it's brand new phone. Already updated to 4.1.1, Sense 4+.

Now to my problem, after activating flight mode (WLAN is on), next day deactivating flight mode...WLAN dosen't work, sometimes WLAN Symbol appears but some moments later, device reboot other times WLAN symbol dosen't appears, android configuration menue(Wlan) says:"Wlan will be activated", wlan on/of switch in this menue dosen't react...some moments later also device reboot...hope developer of this rom is reading...
I've noticed that my device has suddenly turned off on several occasions; I only notice because it does not respond to the power button and to use it I must take out and reinsert the battery.
I am running the latest installer build. Is this an issue with CM, the phone or something else? I need it fixed quickly because I am missing important text messages and phone calls. Should I flash M9 over the installer build, or is it something serious enough to merit a deeper change?

It sounds like you're having issues with your phone not waking up. A couple things you can try immediately(these are terminal commands to enter in terminal emulator or adb):
### lower wakeup thresholds

sysctl -w kernel.random.read_wakeup_threshold = 64
sysctl -w kernel.random.write_wakeup_threshold = 128
### increase max frequency

echo 1200000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/screen_off_max_freq
When your phone screen doesn't turn on when you press the power button, try plugging it into the charger to see if turns on then.
Also this can sometimes be a kernel related issue. Try flashing some afterstock kernels like Fancy or Dirty V.
I have been using the Galaxy Note 2 for about 2years and not until 1year, I started rooting/fiddling with the phone to enjoy maximum features samsung has to offer i started facing this problem since then(dont remember when exactly). The proximity sensor fails to function like it used to. Whenever i make a call, the screen turns off and doesn't turn back on until i press the power or home button or bring the device to a bright sunlight. I ignored this thinking the sensor was broken/damaged. I have reflashed the device several times to stock and customs and still the sensor seemed to not function. I was reading the a thread and tried the following command using Terminal Emulator with root permissions:

$ echo 1 > /sys/class/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal
To my surprise the sensor works perfectly now BUT it does till i reboot, after that it is the same problem.
My question is, is the calibration gone wrong? If so where are the values stored?(i'm asking this because even after flashing the device with stock ROM and factory reset, it still persists). How do i permanently fix this?
