[GUIDE][ROOT][TIPS]How to Enable HFR mode on Mobile legends - Xiaomi Mi A3 Guides, News, & Discussion

NOTE: This GUIDE is only for ROOTED devices that has no HFR mode support in Mobile Legends. I found this guide on YT and I thought of sharing this to you guys.
This is tested on Mi A3 custom ROM's, I haven't tried this on stock but I think it should work.
This might also work on other rooted devices, I'm not sure.
1. So first, download this app on Google Play store.
2. Open the app and scroll down till you find "ro.product.model", if yours is "ro.product.system.model" delete the word "system". Then, change your model value to "Mi 9T pro".
3. Exit the app then reboot.
Now you can open your Mobile Legends app with HFR mode enabled.?
p.s.- Please follow this guide carefully, if you encounter any problems, don't blame me.

Mi A3. and yes I did.
I Installed Magisk > Updated to latest version > Installed Build prob from Google Play > clicked to the Edit icon > in the top right corner
right under "ro.product.system.manufacturer=Xiaomi"
I found "ro.product.system.model=Mi A3" and I edited it to "ro.product.model=Mi 9T Pro"
after that I clicked on the Save icon and selected Save.
went back and then I clicked the three dots and selected Reboot.
nothing happened and after restart I Reinstalled the game and still no HFR option in the game.

Oh It worked!
After I did all of this I scrolled down in Build prob app and I found the old Value still there and it says "ro.product.model=Mi A3" and I deleted it and rebooted and it worked.
Thank you!

Scroll down and if you find "ro.product.system.model" change it to "ro.profuct.model" too. Then change its value to again, "Mi 9T pro"....

I have. So far its great! I installed flash fire style. Everything went fine. Only thing now is in trying to get advanced calling to work again. I already had it enabled. I did what OP suggested but nothing is working. Other than that its nice to have smart settings!

Did you download myverizon app and then activate hd calling before deleting out of /data/app?
I'll look into this issue in the morning.
All is working fine except hd calling want activate. Downloaded my verizon app and then went to settings avanced calling to activate but get the process.com.Android.settings has stopped. I've done everything from wipe settings and apps to flashing again and nothing helps. Any suggestions?

I'll have a look at the settings.apk does anyone have the stock LGSettings.apk with odex files. I'd have to flash back to stock at this point.

I don't but I've got the stock kdz ready to flash. I'll pull it and send to you then once we get it figured out I'll reflash your Rom .
One thing I've noticed is my hd calling says click here to turn it off although I've verified through 4g Data not working on calls and the hd notification not showing up on calls to my wife that it definatley is not working. I also know that it for sure worked on stock so it's something that's causing settings to stop. Soon as I get flashed to stock I'll upload settings.apk
See the errors now, I'll have it fix soon.

Ok after 2 hours of messing with adb saying my device is offline I give up...adb worked fine but this is the first time using it with Windows 10 so I'm guessing it's got drivers messed up which is causing it to not issue a device authorization attempt which means I can't use adb right now.....
I'll patiently wait for your fix. Thank you for the help
Sometimes I have the same issue with Windows, not sure of the exact problem. But restarting Windows and phone while usb is disconnected ussally fixes the issue for no apparent reason.

I want to know after flashing this img my non Verizon CDMA carrier's 3G settings are gone, and I can't connect anymore through 3G.
It needs 3G settings reprogramming , what could caused this issue ?
Knowing that I flashed 13b KDZ on top of 10B and then flashed another 13B rooted img and nothing like that happened...

Unfortunately I am not a Verizon user, I do use my phone on a Yemeni CDMA carrier called "Yemen Mobile" which it doesn't has any features like HD calling, only 3G network (EV-DO) [emoji3] .
Please tell me what to take a screenshot for and I will be happy to take it.

Kingroot - how to remove it from my AFTV?

Hi.
In the past few month, I have used my AFTV to watch KODI streams.
Now, I have decided to root it ( for USB inputs enablement ).
Problem now, The streams cut off after 20-25 minutes.
one post told me to remove KINGROOT.
I tried to follow youtube regular tutorials, with no help.
I have connected a USB mouse in order to have "free hand" - kingroot options are still don't seems to work.

What version of Kingroot have you used? Removal is under settings (top right hand corner):
V4.1
1. Open KingUser and enter "Settings" menu ( top right of home screen)
2. Enter "Root authorization setting " (second one)
3. You can find "Remove Root permission" option (fourth one)
4. Click it, and KingUser will be removed automatically
V4.8
1. Open KingUser and enter "Sittings" menu ( top right of home screen)
2. You can find "Uninstall" option.
3. Click it, and KingUser will be removed automatically

Agreed. I didn't know they were bricking, sorry. I would guess they use a similar strategy to delete Kingroot. So it would probably end the same way. If a recovery is in the works I'd wait.

Even some had said yes It works then later rebooted there device for the first time & posted back again saying I've bricked now.... How do I get out off it? No matter anyway Goodhur, no harm done

I was going absolutely nuts trying to figure out why my build was crashing on my sticks and not my FireTVs.
Going to remove root if I can and test to see if **** is still crashing on the sticks...

Ok so using 4.8.1 if you didn't enable the protect root optimize feature this works.
If you did the optimize under 4.8.1 I'm not seeing a way to relaunch the app to remove it. It only says Force Stop, Clear Cache, and Clear Data under Kingroot for Applications.
Any ideas?

Nope root is gone after the disable. The uninstall is just clean up. But remember you've already disabled amazon updates so you can always kingroot again if desired.

Viper 4 Q working no bootloop

So I've managed after hours of messing around to get viper to work. Endless bootloops to download mode.
I don't know if it was me not knowing how to install it or if it is just still a bit buggy on 10 but either way. I managed to get it installed working and some what simple.
None of this is official. And must be followed exact.......
This was done on my g9650 I don't know for US rooted snaps. Or Exynos. If those try at your own lesure
Always make a backup beforehand. If you do manage a bootloop restore your data and should be good.
First install audio modification library from magisk. Do not reboot yet...
Second we need to install the viper 4 Android apk from here
https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.pittvandewitt.viperfx
Do not install the driver. If you do you will be in a bootloop to download mode. So ye be warned.....
Back out of installing the driver. And go into settings mark for compatibility mode and attach audio effects to on.
Next download the rootlesss viper install here...
https://zackptg5.com/downloads/v4afx-rootless_03.17.2020.zip
Only place I found it. If some one knows a more legit place feel free to drop a link.
But now Install this from twrp and reboot. You should be good to go
I will stream line my thread once I'm not on mobile. With better pics and instructions.

It is through twrp - mounting system - advanced. and file manager.
These are some that I delete, and I don't break down the system in this way.
root / system / priv-app / excel_samsungstub / remove
root / system / app / flipboardbrifing / remove
root / system / app / gmail2 / remove
The applications are still mounted on the system partition.
At the moment, removing apps from an apk causes damage to the system. forcing to load in odin.

I confirm that in this way you can delete apps without spoiling the system.
is to see the location with likns2sd
Point the location.
* enters recovery mode
* mount partition system
*advanced
* file explorer
and search within the system folder for locations and delete
example
google drive
crome
Youtube
excel
etc
So when I install audio libray and back out of driver install this is what happens ......
I can't click the setting gear. It's shaded out and can only click on the driver one beside it.
How do I enable the setttings gear to open it?
Hopefully it's something easy.

EVEN IF YOUR PERSIST IS ALREADY BROKEN AND FINGERPRINT DOES NOT WORK.

In a root explorer of your choice go to /mnt/vendor/persist/engineermode/
You'll see a file that is called 'engineermode_config' open that file with a text editor.

For FactoryMode unlock you can simple use my Magisk Module what I created on 7.5.2020

Try this, it's still the same module created by @jamal2367. I found the module in his website.
Module doesn't work. Dialing #*808# returns to the dialer.

Did you debloat your phone? Check that the EngineeringMode.apk file is present in the system /app/EngineeringMode folder. This apk is essential to make factory mode work.

The app is there. Editing the config file causes it to FC on open when dialing the code, couldn't seem to get past that so I tried the module.

I have already read about a similar problem on oneplus 7 pro, on that occasion they solved it using an old version of the EngineerMode.apk, the one available on apk mirror here. The original thread I am referring to can be found here.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I've had the 1+8P for about 10 days so I'm still learning some of the secrets.

It's a pleasure, when you try let them know if it works, so it can get back to someone else

Oops. That's a typo.... Lol

*#808# is supposed to take you into "Factory Mode" aka manual test mode. I still haven't gotten past the FC issue.....
*#36446337# is for "Engineering Mode". From there you can also run factory mode but it still crashes....

Question Cannot manual update

Hi all, I do not seem to have the three dots in the upper right corner when going to Settings / About phone / MIUI Version. I wonder why is that?
Trying to tap several times on the MIUI 13 logo
I did and get the notification that additional features are on without any change.
If you have a theme, put the default one.
It may be because you have an update.
I do not have a specific theme installed. See attached screenshot.
It may be because you have an update
An update for what and how can I solve this? Thank you.

According to the 1st post you have to reboot to install the update.
When I reboot nothing is happening the phone just restarts and when I go back I see the same thing (?)
And what is the current rom version?
It's MIUI 13.0.8.0 Stable. I know that MIUI 14 Global is out now and that is way I am looking into this.
Try deleting all updater data and reboot.

If you have the update icon, long press on it / information / erase data.
Or settings / app management / installed apps / 3 dots at the top right / displayed all apps / search for update apps
Are you referring to this
