No, it's a purely software feature.
Finally APTX working on my Zuk Z2 plus snapdragon 820 and AEX 7.2 Android 10 .
Sadly doesnt work on miui12 beta android10 ,is there any chance u could make that happen? Thanks for your work

yeah, apparently Xiaomi added "native" aptX in the latest android 10 update. So this module is pretty much useless now.

my audiophile-ish mind doesn't stand anything but poweramp. even though design-wise it could be much better, there's no better player for android, really.

think huawei stop APTX support or subscription with Qualcomm.
as of now, mate20x is not a officially supported device

Are saying that it still shows aptX in the Bluetooth settings at the end of the device name while connected?
That might be another case but i can confirm that it is not there in the developer options . If you have a sony headphone as an example , it will connect to the LDAC codec and you can't change it out there also I used a tool to check for it and it wasn't there

Yes, you're right. My Klipsch Speaker is now connecting via aptX where before it would just say AAC.

Yes, the PA supports AptX. It's hard to tell if it supports your device because you haven't written anything about it.

It supports aptX Classic/HD (which is completely expected as it's now in AOSP), but does it support aptX Adaptive? Not HD and not Classic, but Adaptive.
I will most likely run it on Nothing Phone (1)

Oh, I guess it's in beta still. But no aptX at all is funny because AOSP supports it. Maybe that's because offload is turned off?
Anyway, is there any device which supports aptX Adaptive in PA? Seems that only Qualcomm SoCs would have it, so the fact that PA is based on CAF makes it plausible.
