Instructions :
SECURITY ADVICE
Don't flash ROMs or Magisk modules which set SELinux to permissive or you welcome malware on your device!
Install Latest Firmware
Grab the Sony Stock firmware using e.g. XPeriFrim. You should always flash the firmware matching the LOS build.
Grab newflasher and put it in the same folder as the firmware files.
Read the newflasher original post on XDA for general instructions!
Remove the following from the folder so they won't get flashed:
all *.ta files (keep the one in the boot/ directory)
Turn off your phone
Hold the volume down button and attach it via USB to your system till you see LED turning green
Run newflasher from within this directory to flash the remaining files
Skip the second optional step (dumping of trim area), it's useless if your bootloader is unlocked already and takes a long time.
Hit Yes for all the next questions asked in Newflasher(Only dumpin of trim area should be selected no and rest all questions should be selected as yes.
Once Newflasher flashes the Stock rom, boot into it and make sure volte is available.(VOLTE WILL NOT WORK ON BLISS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK ROM.
Incase you are not able to see volte icon in stock either your carrier does not support it or there is an issue with the stock rom(Try flashing it again).
Once you confirm Volte is available in stock, Flash the TWRP recovery and follow below instructions carefully.
Boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
Again boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
This time boot into recovery >> Wipe Internal Storage.
Flash ROM, Gapps, Magisk.
In the setup wizard select SIM 1 as the default sim for calls data and message.
Once Boot is complete, wait patiently for few mins.
Gto *#*#4363#*#* >> Phone Information >> IMS status.
Voilllaa you should have volte and dual sim both enabled.
Google Apps
Gapps are already included in the ROM and no need to flash it again.

Is dual card normal?
Is the SIM card reading speed normal?
I used the following version before and found that reading the SIM is very slow, more than 5 minutes, and the signal is a bit poor.

True, since I'm using the XZP as first phone, that's essential for me... Didn't try this new ROM yet but signal reception in the rcmiku Pixel Experience one was very poor... Except that, most stuff works fine... But you know, if you have an emergency you can't wait 5 or more minutes for the signal to kick in
Any feedback on SIM card reading in this ROM?

For Dual sim users its taking about 2-5 mins for sim detection and second sim is not getting detected for.
Till now I have not experienced any network issues, as this uses the same source as Bliss there should not be any issue with signal reception.

Hello and thank you for your work. Can you please tell, will you become Z00T maintainer for Lineage OS, or are these builds completely unofficial (I mean without further possibility to go official 15.1 build) and we better stick to AEX 5.X?
Also can you tell, are there any differences between your build and Luke's last one, apart from Fire Kernel?

I doubt it will become official ever first of all. All HAL1 devices are not yet official due to camera issues and will probably won't. Apart from FireKernel difference is that I compiled it using SDCLANG, did some updates for GPS, and other files, Disabled transparent QS and fixed video recording partially by importing commits from xperia devices. Nothing more.

Hi @TheImpulson I read on one of the other threads that the video recording bug was completely fixed. AEX if I'm not wrong. I hope I'm not mistaken. If it is fixed, is there a chance of it becoming official?

My adaptive brightness was lost last night. No option for it in settings>display. The thing at the end of quick settings slider also does nothing. Otherwise no probs after 1 day.
Also some settings like handwave gesture dont do anything but are probably there as remnants or for future use?
E: Might have something to do with me fiddling with nightlight settings. Will try to see if thats the case when i have the time
Just curious if there is a Ambient Display option in this Rom/build?

Hi, how is the battery life so far? How long does it last when fully charged?
Something like this. Works 24 hours, display 4:47
Thanks man ? Am I the only one who has double battery life on Oreo? Any reasons why it dropped so much in PIE?
I used both Oreo and Pie, but went back to Oreo because of that (for one reason) I hope that this changes one day.
Has all of the random reboots from AOSP pie finally been fixed, or is this still present in this?
Thanks!

That is great. I thought all AOSP based ROM had the problem though. But great to hear it, gonna give it a shot later today as I used to really like the Extended Oreo.
Thanks for your hard work, it is much appreciated.
EDIT: On AOSP Pie with Sony OEM the fingerscanner is always on, meaning if you place your finger on the scanner it will wake up. Even without pressing the power button.
Is it possible to port this feature to this rom?
Thanks in advance.

Ah yes, I did not see your status bar on my screen in the first place. I guess I will give it a shot, thanks! :good:
Are you using Google Pay by any change?
Yes, with magiskhideprops module works perfect
AMAZING!!!
WHAT A COOL ROM!!! Thanks you very much, it is incredibly: fast, clean, good-looking... Much better than Sony's ROM. Still, if I may, there are some things I think it would be great to include/improve:
- Camera app is VERY simple, and does not allow to use specific characteristics of the Xperia XZ1 Compact like slow motion or "wide" photos on front camera.
- Camera button isn't use!! You can't do pictures neither accés to the camera fast. Also, it would be great if you could personalize the button(s) the way you want!
- Sony's ROM have a very useful functionality that allows to change the screen between three modes: realistic, saturated... Please, include that, I can't live without an OLED like (saturated) display XD
- Keep updatiiiiing
Again, thanks you, I wasn't very convinced to install it but now I won't go back
Thread updated. See post #2
How to update:
* download latest firmware 47.2.A.10.45 for newflasher
* delete system.sin, userdata.sin, fotakernel.sin
* flash your phone
* turn it off
* enter to recovery and flash new aex rom
cooooooooooooool!
really cool!

Go to Settings >> Blissify >> Advanced System Icons >> Set icon for Volte.
Voilllaa you should have volte and dual sim both enabled.
Google Apps
You can download and install the Google Apps from opengapps.org. You need ARM64 and 10.x. I suggest to *always* use the pico or nano package. If you need additional apps you find them in the Play Store.
MicroG
This ROM does support Signature Spoofing. However we are watching MicroG and check if they provide newer builds e.g. for Android Pie.

I installed Bliss on my wife's XZP and due to the network problem and as @Shujath mentioned that the network problem is fixed on crDroid and it will be fixed on the other roms along with July security update, I decided to use crDroid till then but now that i installed it I don't know after fixing Bliss which rom should I use: crDroid? Bliss? Havoc OS? PE? I mean all of them are great. Thanks to Shujath, you guys have a lot of options to use on XZP.

I have been testing the rom for a few days and it is going quite well, only I have the doubt if there is any way to improve the audio? since at least the speaker is too low. And is there also a way to change the size of the icons at startup? since I did not find how to do it. Thank you

What's CAF?
CAF stands for Code Aurora Forum. It's a fork of AOSP which is well optimized for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to plain AOSP. In addition to the opensource CAF android base, these builds also use Qualcomm's proprietary Android 11 Board Support Package (BSP) for Snapdragon 665, to ensure maximum compatibility and functionality with Android 11. It can also be called an engineered ROM, as it's built from pure CAF sources and BSP in the same way OEMs do.

FAQs
Q: Is MiuiCamera included?
A: No, the MiuiCamera from android 10 doesn't work in 11, so a fresh port from Mi A3 is required whenever android 11 is released for it.
Q: What's the 4 or 5 number beside the wifi icon?
A: It's a CAF feature which shows the 802.11 generation number. 4 stands for 802.11n, 5 stands for AC, 6 for AX and so on.
Q: Does the main rear camera have yellow tint? This bug was there in AOSP 11.
A: No, it has been fixed.
Q: How to get weather in at a glance widget? It just shows me the date
A: There's a quite simple trick for this, just add another instance of at a glance widget manually onto another home screen. The one on the main home screen gets refreshed automatically!
Q: This ROM is laggy! Expected more since its CAF.
A: Most importantly, let the ROM settle after its booted, janks will eventually disappear. In my testing I've faced no lags at all except in the first 10 mins after booting. Do keep in mind that this is an initial A11 release, both from CAF and my side. The kernel used (QSv2) is also in its early stages as it's entirely rebased on android 11 kernel source.
Q: Next update when? ETA PL0X
A: Updates will be dropped as soon as CAF releases a new android 11 tag for our chipset (trinket) or when there's a new security patch available. Please do not spam XDA or telegram for ETAs.

- Install MagiskR.zip as described in initial post
- Boot to System, go into Magisk Manager
- Setings > Change Update Channel to "Beta"
- Update Magisk Manager via Magisk Manager's initial page
- Reboot
- Go into Magisk Manager and update Magisk. Don't use Recovery Mode, and choose Direct Install. Wait for it to finish and reboot.

Probably no,
You can flash nik gapps core which has minimum things
Gapps build consume more battery than vanilla also takes lots of time to settle down this results in heating
No point in building also users want call recording in dialer which is not provided by google dialer
@Pranav Temkar Appreciate your efforts. keep up the good work. If possible please also do some other ROM's for Zuk Z2 Plus.

Currently msm xtended development has come to halt the source will be back soon
So i was thinking to maintain a rom with many customization and one minimal rom
Arrow fits best its pretty stable so will work on only these two maybe i change my mind later

No this wont go official as confirmed i had asked kuber sir he wont be doing arrow for zuk as the phone is being used by his sister and no blind builds from him
Also there is a pact where kuber will give me official only if i work with his trees but i will continue with dmitri trees
So it wont be official, i am happy without official too the rom provides same stability being unofficial too

- Safety net pass without root, if you install magisk then make sure you have enabled magisk hide, else safety net wont pass.
- If you face low audio then increase speaker gain using kernel manager or use dolby/viper.

Volte switch works on roms which have zui ril stack on lineage 17.1 dd3 had picked those old zui ril blobs and this fix volte switch issue
But those old zui ril blobs have great hit on battery life as network consumption is more in old zui blobs
Latest caf ril blobs have are well optimized than those old zui blobs
For reference you can check the commit message of the zui blobs present in lineage 17.1 by dd3boh
msm8996-common: Fall back to ZUI IMS-QMI-RIL stack · LineageOS/[email protected]
* From ZUI 4.0.247DEV * This fixes VoLTE not coming back after mobile data has been switched to 2nd SIM and back to VoLTE capable 1st SIM * Probably also fixes random IMS restarts as they can...

Everything's working alright except the navigation bar. It doesn't show up & when I edit the build.prop with "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0", the phone stucks on infinite bootloop.
