fastboot flashing unlock
then flash as usual....phewww
I was trying to revert to stock Android from a custom rom with an unlocked bootloader.
Something happened that the bootloader re-locked but did not flash the stock firmware properly. (using this signed image: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z-play/how-to/guide-relock-oreo-bootloader-to-stock-t3784621)
Problem #1 seems to be that I cannot flash anything because the bootloader re-locked.
Problem #2 seems to be that I cannot unlock the bootloader either because the phone is in an "invalid boot state" meaning "Allow OEM Unlocking" is supposedly not enabled in Settings > Developer.
Problem #3: When I go into Recovery Mode the device reads "I have loaded a different operating system"
Here is my getvar all:

Anyone have any ideas? On how I can get this phone to boot? I don't really care how I get it back to boot, even if its back to a custom rom, at this point I just want it to POST a boot.
I tried the Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant tool but the software could not recognise the device.
I was looking at RSD LITE tool. I never used this. Anyone have any experience with this tool?

Is there any way to solve this issue by flashing the Fastboot Firmware and update the device through the same....?
(Since Stock Firmware can be flashed on a locked device unless its a downgrade)
Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem.
Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem.

[bootloader] is not unlocked

If I throw this command:
fastboot oem unlock
I get the following error:
http://subirimagen.me/uploads/20181213075319.PNG
And when loading the recovery mode (TWRP) I get this way and then open the normal TWRP.

How to solve the error:
Invalid boot state
ty!!
Hi all,
Please, anybody with knowledge answer this topic.
I got the same problem-message "invalid boot state" when I try this command
fastboot oem unlock UNIQUE_KEY. Here I use the UNIQUE_KEY which I received from Motorola
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-c
Unlike the topic starter, I didn't try to flash TWRP yet, though getvar all shows "(bootloader) securestate: flashing_unlocked"
Here is the output of "fastboot getvar all" command.
Code:
F:\mfastboot_adb_tools_HardReset_info\mfastboot>fastboot getvar all

I believe you should be using lima_32
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/lima_32/official/TIMBR/
Flashing firmware with an locked bootloader is tricky sometimes
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/rooting-roms/guide-flashing-motorola-firmware-t4042039
But I recommend trying LMSA's Flash Rescue option

I alredy tried a few variants of Lima_32 (Tefmx because of the rio.carrier, retail, retla, openmx,timbr) and all of this was on the PMDS 29.70-81-5, didnt know what to, i read somewhere that i need to install the same factory firmware to avoid the"Startup Failed" Error or rather the lastest firmware, you think that if i wait to a new firmware update cold be able to install it? why i cant boot with any firmware ?

Help Moto g8 power (XT 2041-1) it stays brick and I can't do anything

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me, I have a moto g8 power, I had done a downgrade from android 11 to 10 because the fingerprint detector stopped working, and everything had worked perfectly, only that I was asked to relock the bootloader.
I proceeded to do so and I got it to re-block but when I rebooted I got the following message.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to go to the recovery menu but it takes me back to the error screen.
I tried to reactivate the bootloader but it asks me to activate the oem unlock but I can't do it because I can't enter the device anymore.
I do not know what I could be doing wrong, and use the motorola program, rescue but can not rescue it, and I do not know what I could do, I tried several versions of your rom but just do not let me installar anything because it asks me to activate the oem unlock but as I can not enter the device to do so. I hope you can help me friends, I've been trying for days to find a way.
This is the data I get from my device through fastboot, thank you very much for your help, I really do not know what to do.

I already tried to load with the command: fastboot boot boot.img, from what I understand is a soft-brick because if I can enter fastboot mode but I have no authorization to do anything, and I'm really desperate, I do not know what else to do.
