[Tester Needed] [Magisk Module] Camera 2 Api enabler for realme 2 pro Custom roms - Realme 2 pro Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello there!!
I have built a Magisk module to enable cam2api in custom rom. Which is based on Samar's Cam2api zip.
but somehow i broke my device's permissin by manually changing file from root explorer.
So i need someone to test the module on their device and tell me it is working or not. Thanks !!
Here is the zip! FLash it using magisk or twrp.

Xposed Mi6

I would like to install xposed in my mi6 .
Anyone can provide me with the working xposed link?
Which rom are you on? Nougat miui or oreo? Nougat aosp/los based or oreo?
Also if aosp/los based and oreo, is your rom a project treble enabled or not? (In case you'd like to install it from magisk systemlessly)
Also have you unlocked your bootloader and flashed twrp custom recovery in the first place or not?
Without these information I'm sorry, your best option should be first searching for each of them on google to learn what they are, then see how to install and/or perform these actions.
I have tried to install magisk xposed and failed. I have xiaomi.eu 9.5.3.0 Oreo, magisk 16.0, TWRP 3210... Any advice please?

There is no working xposed for miui oreo.

I wish Xiaomi/MIUI would stop messing with critical Android internals, but they do it again every release for no apparent reason. That's why MIUI issues have low priority for me. I'll look at this in more detail once other issues are solved (which might easily take a few weeks).

For miui oreo you have two options to get xposed working.
1) Download xposed installer apk from xposed thread and xposed for sdk26 (it's for oreo 8.0), first check the box of the disable resource hook option in xposed installer, then flash xposed sdk26 zip from the recovery.
2) Same thing can be done with magisk manager (if it's your root method). So get the xposed installer for magisk apk (search for it because it isn't in the original xposed thread), then do the same thing to disable resource hook, then find and install the xposed for sdk26 systemless module within the magisk manager app.
And for both methods just don't try to use any xposed module that modifies system ui etc because of the miui.
Also have the uninstaller zips for both magisk and xposed
And also, make some twrp backups for boot and system in case you screw up something
By the way, project treble is *simply* separation of /vendor (device related stuff etc) from /system. It enables us to make and use GSIs (generic system images). GSIs are made to specific android versions and theoretically can run on any treble enabled device. Our mi 6 have got treble unofficially thanks to the efforts of the mi 6 developers in our forum. Project treble makes it easy to update system so even if you don't use a treble rom you can go and thank @blankaf 's post for example for his work on the porting of treble for our device.

I tried but in the end
It says
Android has stopped working etc kind of stuff
And i had ti reboot to recovery and uninstall it :/
Pretty bad situation
For Nougat based MIUI, disable resource hook in Xposed Installer before flash latest xposed zip package.
For Oreo based MIUI, only deoxded rom like xiaomi.eu support xposed. I can confirm xiaomi.eu stable 9.5.3.0 support v90 beta2 (not beta3) and no need to disable resource hook. Xiaomi.eu is China based rom has no AOSP style notification shade. My solution is to install MIUI 8 Tweaks module and enable always expanded notifications, it's a bit ugly but does the job.
It would be really appreciate If someone knows how to deoxde official rom.

You can silde the notification with two fingers to expand it.

Camera2api questions (OTA and enable/disable) in MIUI

I have this question before unlocking the bootloader only for the Gcam, after enabling the camera2api, the other updates continue to work properly ?, is there no risk of Bootloop?
Following a similar issue, is the problem that when enabling the camera2api the front camera stops working? if so, is it possible to deactivate the camera2api by PC with ADB? what would the command be?
Thank you in advance

The best thing would be to enable Camera2API via this magisk module. That way you don't have to edit build.prop every time you want to enable or disable Camera2API or applied a system update. You can easily enable/disable Camera2API via magisk manager.

Don't know about MIUI. I am on Resurrection Remix May 26 build with opengapps (nano) and this module is working perfectly for me.
I am using Google Camera Mod by BSG.
Please go through this thread where you can achieve without root

I am using magisk 16.3, it have not any problem
With dev 8.6.21 can use magisk 16.4
Could you elaborate the requirement of safetynet and magisk hide? I'm a tyro here.
Please elaborate .I m also having same problem
Usually the only reason why magisk SafetyNET fails is that Xposed is installed in SYSTEM or in SYSTEM-LESS mode. If you want to pass SafetyNET, you have to remove xposed from the device itself, bc xposed is a framework modification and the framework is included in the SYSTEM, any modification of it would trigger SafetyNET Fingerprint check. Just like rooting a Samsung and triggering Knox, only safteynet fail can be reversed unlike Knox.
Hello, i tried to install Magisk and xposed, but i have bootloop ...
How to fix it, it is possible to install them on miui 10 last stable ?
Link for magisk, xposed framework ?

Question [Q] Magisk module for enable of Face Unlock

Hello All,
does somebody know how to enable face unlock on Pixel 6 Pro? Is there some module for Magisk or editing some files through Root Explorer, for example?
Thanks.

Question Magisk modules require magisk v24.2

Hey guys, i want to install some modules on me realme C21 which is rooted. However the modules require version 24.2+ of magisk to install. My question is since my device has a MTK chipset and only able to use patched magisk version (which apparently i can't update as it wont support my device), how do i go about it? Or is there a way to update it that i dont know about? Can i install Modules for magisk while bypassing the requirements?
Thanks again for any support i get, i'm new here and happy to be part of XDA!
