Hello all,
Tried to flash kitkat rom (NEE) downloaded from sammobile.. now my note is stuck at boot with RECOVERY BOOTING on left TOP.. cannot go in recovery and cannot go to download mode.
Please help!

you shoud go in download mode pressing on+home+voldown for enough time. keep pressing till you bypass the recovery bootloop.

I tried.. hoding vol down + home + power.. when i hold the power the screen goes off and goes on again to the same state "SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10.1 2014 EDITION" with "RECOVERY BOOTING...." on the left top corner
GOT INTO DOWNLOAD MODE
this is what i did...
press vol down + home + power...... the screen cycle... keep pressing the power button... release the home and vol down button... and press the home and vol down button... >>>>>> goes into DOWNLOAD MODE :laugh:

Hm I have the same problem, just getting "RECOVERY BOOTING....".
How exactly did you solve this, I tried what wrote but still only RECOVERY BOOTING....
Edit: Ah ok, managed it, very tricky, you have to release the Volume and Home key just in the right moment while the screen cycles.

How did you get KK to install after that? Ok - worked it out - didn't tick the bootloader update now it is booting fine

I have tried:

PS:
I managed to get it booting to download mode one time after flashing the rom via odin.
I then flashed the recovery.tar found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53093720&postcount=8
after that, I get this in my top left corner.
RECOVERY BOOTING.....
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING

Yeah, keep pressing the power key the whole time.
Press POWER - VOL DOWN - HOME
Screen Cycle, while the screen is off,
Release VOL DOWN - HOME, and keep Pressing POWER
And one sec after press VOL DOWN - HOME again.
And it will work.
Note it took me ~30min to get it right, so just keep trying till it works.

yes.. the power button should be pressed all the time.. after one time (FIRST) screen recycle.. release the vol down + home.. and press again vol down + home when the screen recycle for the SECOND time (dark screen)... you will get into DOWNLOAD MODE
may i suggest.. dont flash via HUB (like the one u found on your monitor).. plug your USB to the MOTHERBOARD USB PORT...

I am so stuck! I have been trying this for so long all night and i am not getting any success, I think the timing is out.

So i tried everything on this thread to get my tab out of the boot loop but nothing helps and my tab won't switch off for long than 5 seconds. Does anyone know what i can do?
You don't need to press Home button, just keep power+vol down pressed, and you will get to DL mode in like 10-20 sec

Google it and you will find a video. U must press dead on to get it. If you rooted then use on app. Quickboot.

Press and hold volume down +power. When you see the LG logo quickly release and press and hold power+volume down. From here you will get a pop up asking if you want to factory reset your device. Use the volume keys to switch to yes and power key to press enter. This will get you to TWRP.
Hi! I need help, I cannot go into recovery mode on my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 64GB model. I have tried the obvious way i.e., Power Button + Volume Up at the same time, it does boot up doing so but don't go to the Bootloader from where I can go to the Recovery mode. I did gave my phone in servicing because in an accident I ended up breaking it's MIC and my bike :crying:. Anyways am I doing something wrong here. Please help.

Hahaha you did it in the wrong way...
first... you need to hold down power + volume up button..
release power button after your phone vibrates two times (but still hold volume up button)
once you see "ASUS" boot up, realese the volume up button...
after that you will see fastboot gui where you can see "NORMAL BOOT" click volume down until you see "REVOVERY MODE" then click power button..
after that your phone will reboot and you'll see sleeping robot and ERROR message, if you see that just click volume up button then power button (you need to do it fast) then release power button, keep trying until you enter the recovery mode (volume up, power button, realese power button)

I think after unlocking bootloader and flashing custom recovery and kernel would make life so much simpler.
You'd think that, yes but as the expression goes, "you make plans and life happens"...
Besides, if everything went right Murphy would be out of a job... (if that is a bit cryptic it refers to Murphy's Law - "What can go wrong will go wrong", I like to add the amendment, "at the worst possible time"...)

I use quick reboot but you need to be rooted. You may need to press power and up button if you get the droid with "error" underneath...

How long are you holding VOL-UP? If I recall correctly, it must be held until the device vibrates.
UPDATE: Oops, that was just for the power button. Hold the VOL-UP button until you get the Android robot.

Before I flashed the new update I'm able enter fashboot easily, by holding vol up +pow after vibrate unhold power button,
But now by doing this combination, I only see usb logo, I think the update broke the fastboot mode?
maybe you forgot to remove root,xposed or busybox before update.without fastboot cant imagine what you can do.maybe you bricked.I hope not.good luck.
Hello, I am stuck on a downloading screen saying it has an error verifying vbmeta image, could someone please post the stock one for me it would be immensely appreciated, i tried rooting and installing a custom rom but wasnt getting anywhere and got scared. I'm now very stressed. Please someone help me?
I can't exit that screen in anyway or form which is no help either.
The latest Magisk update created the error however, if you hold the power button, volume up button and volume down button together, until the phone goes off then QUICKLY let go of all buttons, then hold down power button and volume up button together, then that will get you back to your phone startup

When I do this, it quickly flashes the Samsung A70 screen for like 1/2 a second and then immediately back to the downloading screen. This is a fat yikes
