OEM Unlocking in Lenovo P2 - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

I am not able to do OEM Unlocking in my Lenovo P2 device. The error says "Lenovo ID without permission". Is there anyway to resolve this issue.
Also what are the pre requisites for performing an OEM Unlocking in this device.

try sign up on another email, try change date and time, try different network..
or you need to wait for they fix the servers, hopefully

I have tried using other email id, but it's of no use. Changing date also is not helping me.

Can you add your device with the 'Detect my device' Button in the official Lenovo app? For me I only get an 'Unknown error' message. I don't know why and I can't find a solution to it either.

Urgent, bypass pincode possible?

My father in law died last weekend and we don't know the pincode of his stock Nexus 5X. We can access his Google account and we know the pincode of his sim card. I hope someone can help us out to get access to his phone. Things we've tried:
- The vingerprint reader was setup but we've tried a lot of possible pins. We've tried his vinger yesterday but because of the attempts the pin is also required now.
- With a pattern lock you'll get a possibility to unlock through the Google account password after some attempts but his phone was secured with a vingerprint and/or pincode. Only the delay between attempts get increased, currently 16 minutes between them.
- The lock option from https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager, but because there is already a pin lock it doesn't work. The pin doesn't change.
- I've tried to access the phone through ADB, booted into the recovery but "adb devices" doesn't see the phone. When I choose to "install update through adb" I see the devices with "adb devices" but I can't use "adb shell", only sideloading works.
- Installing a custom recovery could work but the bootloader is locked, when I unlock it a full wipe will be performed so we still can't access the data.
- From the Play store in the browser on my Mac I've installed the androidlost.com app on the phone, but the app needs to be opened once before it can be used.
- A rubber ducky could help us out, but I don't have one and the time between attempts get increased and increased... it would take weeks, months or years to unlock.
What other possibilities do I have?
First sorry for your lost!
Second, i don´t know for sure, but maybe get the phone to the store where you bought it and explain the situation, maybe they will give a correct advice or like you said the phone is registed in google ( device manager) maybe if you contact them they will help you with that ( the problem is they probably will take a long time to reply or don´t reply at all) or wait for a more expert user than me here in xda,
again, sorry for your lost and hope you solve this problem,
cheers
If the phone was rooted with a recovery installed, YES, you could delete the passcode files and get into it, without root/recovery, you cannot get into it without the password, that is the point of encryption and passwords and all that jazz.... Yes there is probably a way for some high level hacker to do it but good luck finding that.... If you just want to be able to USE the phone, do a factory reset from recovery....

Device Not Bound to Account when Unlocking

I am in the process of Unlocking my bootloader and am trying to see if I am missing a step. I got the permission text from Xiaomi and am in the process of waiting. I believe I have 24 hours left but was wanting to check within the unlock tool. When I try to unlock it says I cannot because the device isn't bound to the acct.
I have searched on other forums and it seems you might need a VPN to associate the account with the device. I have tried many VPN apps without success including the one I used on PC to get permission (Plex). Was hoping someone would have a suggestion.
TBH you I don't think you will get a good answer to this question. People will say to use many did vpns or to wait for 5-7 days ect. I'm in the same boat as you atm and I have chosen to just wait for a few days.
To confirm: the 72 hour wait starts from the moment you bind the device to your account on the phone, not from when you received the text. To bind the device under developer options you do need to use a VPN with location set to China. I used SuperVPN app and it worked first time. After that you should try the unlock tool and it should give you the 72 hour message. I did not need any VPN on the pc for the unlocking.
On SuperVPN I don't see any chinese servers.
I was able to finally get it to work. Used PlexVPN and apparently you have to be connected to WiFi for it to work.
there are so many tutorials out there how to unlock...google is your friend! Just download plex vpn on your device, connect to china, go to settings -> dev options -> mi unlock status ...scroll down and hit that button, now bind your device. that´s it... now wait 72h and you get your unlock

I bought a second-hand mobile phone to restore, because the display was broken, the seller said that there were no associated accounts, as the display did not show an image and only sound, I deduced that everything was going well, when I tried I found that I had an MI account associated. the seller don't know also the mi account information, now I can't use it at all, I didn't want to spend more money on the phone so I tried everything that is within reach on the internet. The mobile has:
1. My account (I don't have the information)
2. Impossible to unlock the bootloader (I can't access the mobile phone)
3. Impossible to enable debug mode (I can't access the mobile phone)
4. I can connect in fastbook
5. I can connect in adb sideload
6. I can connect in EDL mode (Qualcomm 9008)
I tried QPST, QFIL, but it always gives an error, maybe because of the firehose.
As the bootloader is blocked, I have no more chances for free, the last hope was to try Firehose in Auth for this model, but I can't find it anywhere.
The cell phone does not detect the Touch, and every time I turn it off it restarts automatically. However I can use a mouse in OTG.
I thought if I did a flash it would solve it too.
The last solution is to pay someone who can do the job and guarantee that it will work without restrictions, for that you would also have to find someone you can trust.
