Bliss OS 11.11 installed and running but nothing from the Play Store works - BLISS ROMS Discussion

Tested out the installation. Chrome works, but nothing I installed from the Play Store works. I keep getting a message "apps" keeps stopping. I started with Guns of Glory. That failed. then I went for something more simple and installed three different card games. All of them give the same message. I used the 64bit image to installed and installed on the whole drive. This does not dual boot into any other operating system. Any ideas why this is happening? Is this normal?

Can't get game to work, HELP!

So ehm, a friend of mine has a problem with his A100...
A few weeks ago he downloaded a, shall we say, less than legal version of NFS Shift, and despite numerous attempts at downloading the Data-file seperately, he never got past the "NaN Downloading Game Data 0 of 0MB" screen.
Bummer.
After trying for a couple of days, he saw a sale on the same game, bought it and downloaded it to his phone where it works fine.
The game IS compatible with the A100, but whenever he downloads the legal version to his tablet, he runs into the same problem as before.
Instead of downloading the (legal) game data file, he can't get past the "NaN Downloading Game Data 0 of 0MB" screen, and nothing gets downloaded.
My friend assumes that the cracked version of the nfs.apk somehow blocks or replaces the legal version from working. He has tried uninstalling the cracked version and installing the bought version several times, but so far nada.
Any ideas? Is there a particular file or directory he should try to delete?
Both phone and tablet are rooted, so is it possible to just copy the full game from the phone to the tablet?
Any help appreciated!
how do you know'the games is compatiable? I have tried the same version as your friend.
It's available for download in the market app.
Also, when you go to the www market: market.android.com, you can list which of your devices an app is compatible with, and NFS shows up as compatible with the A100.
(This is the NFS released by Electronic Arts Netherlands BTW. It's been released by a couple of EA-divisions, and a version released by one company, is sometimes compatible with different devices than a version released by different companies.)
I installed the apk that was included on my G2X and it works perfectly.
You could factory reset. It kinda sucks to do just to get a game to'work.
xxx
Downloaded files still doesn't work.
I downloaded the files on an Epic 4g and then just switched the sd card into my A100, and the game still won't work. They are in the correct location but Sim City still tries to download them and doesn't see them on the card.

The acer will not run game data off your sd card (mnt/external_sd) automatically. It has its own internal sdcard (mnt/sdcard) and that's where it stores game data. You will need to copy it in there but which exact directory I'm not so sure since I don't have the game installed. Maybe someone else can reply to that.
If you want to run from your external SDcard you need to use GL to SD app from market. Theres a thread here if you want to read more about the app.

[Q] Gensoid functioning fine - but not opening?

I have a brand new Ouya, running completely stock - not rooted or anything - and have sideloaded some emulators (YongZH stuff mostly) onto my Ouya. The ones I have tried work fine - with the exception of Gensoid 2.4.3 (the apk that I got from SlideME before YongZH pulled everything except N64oid)
If I go to a file browser, and install the apk and open it from the install screen, it opens fine. If I open a Sega Genesis .bin file using Gensoid, it opens fine. If I try to open it from the launcher - it closes as soon as it pops up.
Even deleting app data doesn't fix this.
I have done a factory reset, and reinstalled my apk files - still have the issue. Since the emulator runs fine, I can not figure it out, and think I may have a bad RAM sector, or it may be an issue with the Ouya launcher. Since the emulator does run, though, and I reinstalled the APK files in a different order, so I highly doubt it is stored in the same place in RAM, I can not figure out why it won't open.
Is anyone else having this issue? What could it be, and is there a fix?

[Q] "App not installed" Humble Bundle

Got a call from a friend with a GT-N5110 Note 8.0 that I'm hoping y'all can help with.
Friend bought the latest Humble Bundle and tried to install Badland and ColorSheep using the HumbleBundle app. And then ran into two mistakes
Mistake 1 was that she didn't see the warning about turning on the "Allow install from 3rd party sources" first.
Mistake 2 was that she then got a prompt about turning this on for each game install, but didn't notice that there was a second tick box that said "For this install only" and didn't untick that.
Both installs failed with "App not installed" message. She's tried switching on that 3rd party sources and rebooting, but nothing gets those apps in. Weird thing is that ALL the other HB games install fine (after the reboot).
I've tried clearing out the HB's apps cache, sideloading the apk, but nothing works - I still get that "App not installed" message with no explanation WHY it's not been installed.
Is there some security cache somewhere that's not allowing these two apps to install or, failing that, is there some log I can check to see what the problem is with these two apps? I've tried logcat viewers but they don't give any info on software installs, and I've tried the APK's for those two games on my 2013 model Note 10.1 and they work fine.
I could try HB support, but I figure that this is probably one of those "deep in the engine room" kind of problems, so a shout out to the experts on XDA seemed more appropriate.
Please unmount your SD card and attempt the reinstall.
On newer versions of Android, some SD card permissions weirdness started and unmounting on these newer versions seems to fix the install issue on all of my devices.

"Unfortunately, app-name has stopped working."

So I've tried flashing several nightlies and snapshots of CM12.1 on my Note 8.0 and it installs fine, goes through the "Android is starting..." app optimization bit, and when I finally get into Android it just goes through pretty much every app on the device saying they're not working, one after another. Play Services, CM services, the keyboard, everything.
I basically can't do anything with the device but go through the settings (with the constant keyboard not working reminder). I've tried a few different releases, as well as different GAPPS packages, and nothing seems to help.
Tried formatting cache/factory reset before hand, and still nothing.
Also tried CM11 but I'm having a hard time finding one that doesn't Error 7 on me.
And, well, I have no idea what I did (I was just pressing things? I tried unmounting and mounting stuff, and I tried partitioning the internal SD card but that button did nothing), and I guess I just installed it enough times that it worked?
Because it's working now and I have no idea how I did it...
Edit: Working until I install GApps, then it just all goes to crap.
Scratch that, it seems to happen whenever I install a GApps package, no matter which GApps package. Tried several variations from OpenGApps, tried the Pico package for TK GApps, and it's always the same thing. Even tried it with different ROMS (CM12.1 and Vanir so far).
Is... Is CWM supposed to be trying to install GApps on my external SD card instead of on my device? Because... I'm not sure, but it looks like that might be what's happening.
Edit: Nope, that's not it either.
When I connect the device to my computer it shows "Internal Storage" as having 7.15GB free of 9.87GB, but it's a 16GB system. Maybe something's not getting mounted properly...
Officially giving up. Using Kies to revert back to stock.

android.process.media has stopped

After switching from 7.1.2 beta to 7.1.1 stable I keep getting 'android.process.media has stopped' error whenever i try to use any media related apps or when i try to share images in Whatsapp and it crashes that app too. I've had tried everything from clearing data of Media storage, download manager, google play services, google framework, google play store to Factory reset, flashing factory images, applying rescue OTA. None of them worked and I still keep getting those errors.
Does this means that there's something wrong with the Flash memory. I am just tired of getting this phone repaired again and again. I already had two repairs in last 5 months. One time they replaced the Display because of dead pixels and last month (January 2017) they replaced the motherboard. Now, I've switched to another phone as this phone has became so unreliable to use anymore.
Update 1: I just used my another device(Oneplus One) which is on LineageOS and it is showing the same behaviour. android.process.media force closes with apps like Xender (when connecting to PC), WhatsApp (when scrolling through images u want to send).
Update 2: It seems there was some corrupted Image file which was causing that error. Now, everything is fine.
PS: Mods can now close this thread. Thanks!
