The reason is losq-v is the start of the filename pretty sure you can just press tab and it will autocomplete so the command would be "fastboot flash system losq-v"(after losq-v type rest of your filename or press tab to autocomplete (do not add a space in between losq-v and rest of filename))
Sry for forgetting that I did it like that to future proof the guide

LoL
Posting "tutorials" in XDA is something else than copy and paste things you expect to work but never tested yourself.
Two persons get in trouble by the crap you copy and pasted here, and instead of take responsibility when things go bad, the only crap you can say is: ask THE GUYS in telegram rofl
What age are you? 12?
I hope no one follow this crappy " tutorial" here...

Odin Recovery Fails
I go step by step but when I hit start on Odin to flash recovery I get two error messages
1. one in Odin in the log section with the following message "failed (auth)"
2. the other on the phone in the download mode in red something along the lines "you can only install official binaries"
I searched the forums and found a few suggestions, turning on USB debugging, applying magisk patches etc.... I never saw anyone confirming any method that would have worked. Whatever I tried to do it either didn't work or I couldn't do it because of lack of skills or it wasn't possible. For example when I tried to use magisk in the descriptions I had install buttons in the manger but I'm missing these on my phone so I suspect that recovery is required first to make those patches or there's something that I don't know how to do it. Either way following the instructions doesn't work for me and I tried a bunch of things and none worked. Different versions of Odin 3.14.1, 3.14.4. If anyone has any idea please help. I reset the whole phone to factory hoping it would help, there's no data on it right now but I still get the same error.
Thanks

To back to original Android:
-Odindownload.com last Odin
- https://github.com/ivanmeler/SamFirm_Reborn/releases download samfirm reborn and use it to get latest original Samsung firmware
Unzip it with 7-ZIP !!!!!! www.7-zip.org
On the Odin website there is a YouTube video how to proceed. But do NOT use any PIT file you find somewhere like the vid shows in example, you will almost for sure brick it if you don't know exact exactly what you r doing! Be warned!
After unzipping you see files beginning with AP BL CP CSC , put them in Odin where they should be.
Under options ONLY mark AutoReboot and F reset time and nothing else.
I hope you get your phone back to working state with this, remember you will not be able to get updates OTA any more since you broke the Efuse.
From there on if I were you I only would root the phone and wait till official TWRP is out, or hopefully some day an official LineageOS.
So far nothing official means lack of maintanance after a while, no updates, bugs, bad assistance and more crap, just like this thread is written by someone who gathered info from just here and there and made this "tutorial" with copy and paste and added b.s. for trying to become a star on Telegram-ish group and look populair there.
Just Root it, debloat it and live with it.

Thanks andreoide for your honest answer :good:
My phone's working, I didn't get far with it, never broke it, just unlocked it. I guess the installation failed during the validation before actually doing any physical changes because my Samsung stock system still runs. The phone is given to me by my company. I just took out the sim card and put it in my private dual-sim phone. So this phone is on the shelf, it's been there for the last few months. I wish I could use it it's higher end than my personal but can't deal with Samsung stock system. I had two phones with lineage (and whatever the name was before) and loved it so I'm hoping I can use it again.
Anyway, it was just explaining my situation, I guess I'll be checking this forum and hoping for more positive news. Meanwhile the phone goes back on the shelf and waits for better times, thanks again for straitening things up for me. :good:

[Q] Failed Sprint Note 2 Root Stuck in Loop, Dev not answering

I attempted a root on Samsung Note 2 Sprint version (in white). Followed all steps, however phone got stuck in a reboot loop right after I put the option 2 (root only) Odin step in. Sprint ver LPH889 (I believe that is what Odin is calling it, option 72). Toolkit used was ADB 4.1.0.
Original symptoms were that the Android updater was looping trying to load everything; being new I made it worse and tried recoveries and reloads which also failed. Now it boots, goes to splash, circling blue oval image and...it stays there.
Good news: I have access to download mode and recovery reset mode (including sideloading).
Bad news: every thread I've followed has given me an issue.
I have recovery access but I need some idea of where to go from here and searches have shown near but not exact symptoms. I have unplugged it from the pc, removed the battery, done a factory reset, attempted to reflash via Odin (root) attempted to reflash stock via Odin and so far I am still stuck in a reboot loop. Windows detects the phone but shows a problem in device manager because possibly it won't stop rebooting. Any help you can provide is appreciated and if at all possible I need to recover some form of working phone here, and soon. My girl needs it for work and Sprint's network in my area barely works from day to day (which they admit but don't credit my account for). This phone has problems sending/receiving calls, they claim it's fine, and I was forced to try a root to get some form of working device. That failed too.
I'm a newb at this...it's been years since I flashed a phone (Razor v3), so...any help would be appreciated, otherwise I have to crawl to sprint/samsung and get it replaced, which I don't want to do. Thanks.

I thought it would to but I did not want to dig through 70+ pages of the thread when searching failed...unless I really needed to. Most of it is old and doesn't apply.
I was directed by the referenced Youtube vid. I used the options referenced for the phone in this thread with that toolkit. I backed up existing files (not as one unit, but internal files and I think OS), went for the option 2, followed the instructions and things went great through odin...until android went to update and started looping with the 'updating files' percentages. At that point I tried to restore to basic and started clearing caches and such and that is how I got to where I am.
When that failed I started looking at the leaked stock flash and that failed on shoot.ini which that guy never addressed because he thought his international version was all versions (that's why I choose 'doesitwork?' as screen name ). So i'm down to sideloading or something. I really need guidance, and I emailed the toolkit author but I'm still waiting on a reply.
Any thoughts?

When used the toolkit a year ago, I found that I had to turned off all firewalls and antivirus apps for it to work properly. Once I did that it worked fine....give it a shot...can't hurt......might even be able to repair what you've done so far.....Good Luck!!!
I'll give this my best shot...download a rooted rom from the development section and place it on your SD card.
Download toolkit from here (I take no credit for this) http://d-h.st/iu0
Put phone in download mode.
Open ODIN and uncheck "auto reboot". Then click "PDA" and add the .tar file (recovery).
Plug phone into PC (make sure to have samsung drivers installed).
Once ODIN sees the phone you can click "start".
When the recovery flash is complete, pull your battery to ensure power down.
Boot into recovery : volume up, home, power all at the same time.
Flash rooted rom.
Toolkit is an extra and unnecessary step.

Grab the one click flavor of choice. Use the one with 1090526 in the name as that's the full version.
Open in windows, put phone in download mode and flash. Easy Peasy.
Let me know if you have any issues with this.
Sorry for the late reply, I had some issues with the "catchpa".
The one click fix worked like a charm, thank you! I will soon be making a contrib to the site. It's a shame I couldn't root as easily  .
I know the level of work that goes into this stuff and the desire to keep on top of new gear while maintaining support for the old and I appreciate the community coming to my aid, so again, thank you!

[Q] [x-post from LG G3] D851 unroot / restore to stock

I recently picked up a D851 (TMobile). I rooted it, but did not replace the ROM or install a custom bootloader.
Last weekend, the phone started randomly rebooting. Watching logcat via adb showed me several random apps throwing sig11s, after which the phone would give up and reboot. Cycle repeats.
This looks like a hardware issue, as the apps that crash change on each boot cycle.
I arranged with TMobile to swap the device, but they cautioned me that the phone must be returned to an unrooted state.
I've had a hell of a time with it from here. My first try was to install the LG drivers and the PC Suite under a Windows VM, as I do not run Windows at home. Enabling USB passthrough for the phone to the VM let Windows see the phone, but the LG drivers would invariably fail with 'Device cannot start. Code 10.'. Likewise, the PC Suite couldn't find the phone.
Next step was to throw together some spare hw and install Windows 7 on that (a desparate move, to be certain. ). The LG drivers can now recognize the phone, so that's a definite plus. The LG PC Suite, though, claimed that my phone could not be upgraded. Wonderful.
Next step was to try this tutorial: http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/07/how-to-unroot-lg-g3-all-variants.html . I was able to get further with this method, but as it begins to flash SYSTEM, it pauses, and then dies with 'We can't communicate with Phone'. End result - I now have a soft bricked phone. On the phone, I see the port - COM41 - appear, and the usb animation starts to spin ... and after a few seconds, stops. It's at this point that Flashtool throws the Can't Connect error.
I next tried following this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 to flash a KDZ. The newer LG Flash tool used here can't create a connection to my phone for flashing.
I've run into a wall here. Any ideas on where to go next? I need to reset this phone back to a working stock state so that I can send it back.

Also - as silly as it sounds, make certain you're using the USB cable that came with the phone. This has solved problems for a lot of people when trying to revert to stock.

I wasn't initially, but I did switch to it last night. Still no go.
I suspect it's either the phone itself (see above: re suspected hw failure), or the PC in question (nVidia chipset on this old motherboard, and I've had more than a few problems with adb talking to phones on nVidia motherboards). I'm going to try Bacardilimon's suggestion tonight, on a PC that has *nothing* nVidia-related in it, before I throw in the towel. As it is, the failing phone needs to be back to TMO by the middle of next week, so I'm all but out of time to resolve this.

There is a link in the general thread on how to return to stock including a method using twrp. It's a sticky thread at the top I've never done the twrp method myself but it can more than likely be done without a computer. Twrp can be installed via Playstore if you don't already have it

Holy hell. That site's links are absolutely infuriating. Anyone who puts each and every download link for software referenced by a howto behind separate timed appearance links that you have to ALSO enter an annoying captcha to enable should be shot out of a cannon - or, at the very least, have their howto ignored by the rest of the world.
Suffice it to say, the quality of that page doesn't give me much confidence that this will work any better than what I've tried already. Since I've already wasted a crapload of time on this project, and more on following those damned links, I'll give it a try tonight, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Is the author of that page an XDA member? If so, please let me know who he is, so I can berate him personally. Thanks.

I'd consider doing that, except as I mentioned, the G3 in question disconnected during a run of Flashtool, rendering it without a working OS to boot to. The phone now boots straight to download mode. The good news is, it's now officially unrooted. The bad news is, it's also officially bricked until I can get an OS flash to work.

After going through the painful process of clicking his links, I found that everything I downloaded is the same thing I already had, except for Flashtool - lgg3root's is actually older. Even the TMO firmware for my phone and the dll are both exactly the same, and I checked by running md5sum on them.
But hey, it must be me. There's clearly no other technology-related cause for this issue. I obviously don't know how to follow a howto, right?
Thanks for 'keeping it real'.

Not likely.
In any case, it failed again. The video he did gave me the exact same steps I followed elsewhere, and unsurprisingly, it failed with 'We can't communicate with Phone', after beginning the flash process. There is something else wrong here, though I'm not certain if the failing phone is at fault or the PC in question is causing the issue. To be crystal clear, the flash process starts, and then, at a random point during the flash, it completely stops, and Flashtool eventually gives up and throws the aforementioned error.
Any other ideas? If not, I'm going to have to try another PC to rule that out as the culprit. Sigh.
Mine gave the same error as well as couldn't communicate with server but the flash process continued running and the phone rebooted took about 3 minutes u learned not to touch any of the popups on the screen during flash and sorry I missed the part about no OS I thought you were booting to recovery... Driving while reading not the best idea

Nope, the phone is definitely not doing anything - the usb animation on the G3 completely stops before Flashtool throws the error.
And damnit, quit reading while driving. You can do that later.
Moved the hdd Windows is installed on to another PC with a different chipset. After it updated drivers, I tried again. Flash proceeded partway, then died. Reset phone, Flashtool reststarted flash from scratch, flash died at 15%.
15% is interesting. While I've seen the flash die at various points, 15% is the one that was most often repeated. This tells me the failure follows the phone, not the PC - which makes sense, as the phone has a suspected RAM failure.
At this point, it appears that flashing this phone is impossible due to faulty hw. Hopefully TMO (and eventually, LG) will accept the faulty phone back with no OS, because there's no way an OS is being written to this device ever again.

Failed root attempt left tablet at the Samsung screen

I have been searching the forum and google and have been unable to reach a solution yet.
I am not a noob, but i am not an expert either so use small words ha.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 5210 with the most recent OTA update.
Last night I attempted to root my device using this:
androidxda (DOT) com/root-samsung-galaxy-tab-3-10-1-gt-p5210
It claimed successful and my device started to reboot and hung up at the Samsung GALAXY TAB 3 screen. I am unable to get to recovery mode on the device. Only able to go to download mode. I have tried several options but have been unable to find a way to flash it successfully. The flashes i have tried downloading were all in .zip and that obviously isn't able to be used in Odin. I have researched how to convert the files into a .tar but I don't have linux. Can someone please help me because I need my tablet. I know it can be saved but I can't seem to locate the answers. I am also getting concerned that it is unable to charge the battery being in the condition it is in now so I am trying to conserve the battery on the tablet until it is absolutely needed. Thanks.

androidxda (DOT) com/root-samsung-galaxy-tab-3-10-1-gt-p5210
Thanks.

First of all - Welcome to xda
Your tab is soft bricked, something has gone wrong with your system files... Honestly it seems like you know enough to get it done, but are struggling a bit with the file formats. You are correct in saying that Odin won't use zip files, but you shouldn't have to convert anything to tar or download linux! If you extract the zip files, you should find a .tar or .tar.md5 file (inside the zip file) that Odin can use, put it in the PDA mode box, etc etc... If your downloads don't have the correct files inside them, try THIS thread.
Let me know if you get it sorted :good:

I had already tried the method and file in the forum you linked me to. It failed almost instantly. That's when I turned everything off and tossed it all to the back seat of my work truck before it got thrown at the windshield. I keep seeing people saying they have trwp or whatever. I don't even know what that is haven't researched that. Is it something i need as well?
I've never successfully rooted a Samsung device. I used to do this stuff a lot back with the droid x with Linux and everything was pretty simple. Does Samsung change their bootloader with each update like Motorola did then? I was wondering that when trying to install a firmware of a previous version that maybe that was the problem.
All I wanted root for was to just tweak some things and be happy. It has turned into a nightmare.
C,
hi,
the consistent/common thread of this problem is/seems to be taking the ota and trying unverified/gimmicky
root methods.
there are recoveries for the gt-p52xx in the tab 10.1 forum
the majority of samsung devices root as follows;
if a custom recovery exist, flash it.
then download recent or latest version of chainfire's supersu update zip, reboot to recovery
backup your rom first, then flash supersu, if everything goes well, once you have set up your stock rom with root in place
make a new backup.
samsung ota's are death incarnate, reject them.
goto the tab 10 forum and get busy ! you said it yourself, you're not a noob, you know the drill. :good:

I have tried the recoveries in the forum and it failed seconds after starting.
I don't do this stuff regularly as I don't hardly have the time. I haven't done anything of this nature in years so I'm well out of the loop on things..

okay, hmm, when you say it fails, do you mean odin fails to flash and if so what is the reason/ouput ?
or do you mean that you are now in a recovery bootloop ?
note- though i go the full route of packing recovery.img's for odin flashing, the md5 checksum always seems to
come up as invalid, the working "remedy" is to remove the .md5 extension from the "odin-flashable-recovery".tar.md5 file
by renaming the file to "odin-flashable-recovery".tar
odin will no longer attempt the checksum verification but the recovery file will flash.
make sure you have samsung-usb-drivers for windows installed. on the main page of my devhost archive [link is in my signature]
you will find the tools you need. the possible problem is that the ota you installed may have overwritten your bootloader, for that i don't
have a reliable fix, so if anything make sure you also have the stock recovery ready to go as well as supersu update zip
already downloaded onto your device for rooting.
after you flash the custom recovery [with auto-restart in odin disabled] run the flash and wait for the res-ok message, give it another second or two then disconnect the tab and force reboot to recovery, home,vol-up and power, once in recovery make a full backup, then flash supersu zip and reboot, if you do go into recovery loop, force reboot to odin mode, home,vol-down and power, follow the on screen instruction, now reconnect your tab to pc and use odin to flash back stock recovery.

Okay guys I appreciate the help. I finally got it. I tried the method on Zachisimo's post on unbricking and finally got it installed.
After it installed, it left me with a bootloop and I was actually able to go into recovery mode this time and do a factory data reset and wipe cache then everything went well. I am a happy dude now.
Going to attempt rooting it again and does anyone have any suggestions on what ROM to install? I have never used any custom ROM's before so that is a new area for me. Feeling more confident knowing how to save it from the dead. :good::good::good:

If you use it then thats what i shall try. First i gotta find a root, then I have seen many people recommend philz recovery, and then the rom?
question why does Restl3ss say wait 10minutes after installing a rom before doing anything?

Blu Advance 4.0 L A010U ROMs

Hey guys,
I really need to find at least the stock ROM for the new-ish Blu Advance 4.0L (model A010U), because the most recent OTA update unforgivingly bricked mine. Now I want to try to re-flash the stock ROM, but I am also open to custom ROMs, if there are any available. Please help me out! Thanks in advance
I am really surprised no one has replied yet, but again I am facing the same problem and I've been searching the Internet for one month now and I found absolutely nothing for this phone (specifically for version A010U).
So I am going to post a different question in the hopes that someone will read it and help us out:
I have two Blu Advance 4.0 L A010U phones, which are identical except for the color (white and green). They were manufactured a month apart one in 10/2015 and one in 9/2015.
Unfortunately after only a couple of months of light use and for no apparent reason (did not drop it, or wet it, etc) it started going through a boot loop. It will start, show the "bold like us" logo then restart again without making it to the operating system at all. Like I said I've been looking for over a month to find a ROM (stock or modded) to reflash but with no luck. Then I had an idea. Since I have the other identical phone that's working fine, is there a trick I can do using the working phone to create a ROM that I can use in my broken one. By the way, the non working phone will allow me to get into the recovery menu, but unfortunately nothing happens if I wipe the cache or even if I reset to factory defaults.
Anyone knows what's causing that "boot loop", how to fix it and where to find a ROM or even "extract" or "create" one using a working Advance 4.0 L ???
Thank you very much!
Man I wish I knew. I'm kinda a novice. I have the same phone with a similar problem... I downloaded the recent ota update and the first time it said it couldn't unzip it. I tried again and it seemed to work but when it rebooted into recovery it said there was an error... So it won't boot up, it just goes to the screen that says "no command". I'm pretty sure the there's a way to make a copy of the working ROM but since I don't use a PC for anything I've never taken the time to learn the method.

I just got ahold of a couple of these devices myself and am in the process of going through all the in's and out's of them....I'm a Samsung nerd so I haven't messed with something like these in a while but I got one (that was supposedly dead bricked per the lady friend of mine I got them from) at least able to boot into factory mode and recovery via ADB and just as I'm posting this I'm in adb shell going through the device's internal memory.....so we'll see what all I find and can pull out of this one and possibly know enough to post an intelligible reply with solutions next time
The boot looping sounds like a common problem with these and when I get to that point I'm going to get rid of the stock bootanimation.zip ASAP and try something else. I get the idea that these things aren't exactly power houses built for much so the littlest thing or small bug in their coding could lead to this kind of crap happening.
Hopefully you figure yours out before I toss these out the window! lol
Cheers y salud!

Forgot to add a couple things about your post, sorry! I beleive (and I just started digging into this phone) that the no command part is the locked bootloader these phones appear to have. I think it was a combo of holding both volume buttons down from a powered off state then pressing power button on that came up with the option for factory mode or recovery (which led to the sad 'no command' droid), i went into factory mode and theres an option for Tp Upgrade which Im assuming is F/W or something similar but I just hooked up to the PC and in that mode it's reading the internal and external memory of the phone and that's about where I'm at so far.
Wow! I'm surprised this thread is still going.
Anywho, I found a repository that is storing the default ROM for the 4.0L. The files were just added recently. I would have liked to have seen a custom Lollipop ROM made by now, but this device is far too irrelevant to get any attention, unfortunately. Just root and forget, I guess.
I can't wait to try it, thank you! And btw, were you able to get root successfully and if so, how?

Hey Deuler93 -
You have my respect for digging out that BLU ROMs link and sharing with the rest of us. I downloaded the one for my Advance and used SP flash tool to flash the phone that was stuck on a boot-loop. Of course first I had to download and install the MediaTeK drivers for USB connectivity with my PC. Everything worked flawlessly, no glitches what so ever. All these links are easily found and widely available online if anyone is interested I can share here too. I just hope that this boot-loop was due to some software glitch and not hardware failure. Everything seems to work fine for now, keepint my fingers crossed it will NOT happen again.
Well, one less headache to worry about. By the way we're not that far, if you're ever in the Chicago area, I owe you a beer or something. Thank you!
Hi guys !
Thank you very much for the Advance 4.0L Roms.
I have successfuly recovered my phone, but the IMEI got lost.
So, I need to root it in order to recover the IMEI, but I just can´t get success on any method :
Kingroot
Framaroot
Towelroot
is there another way to root it ?
Thank you very much.
I got temporary root using the kingroot apk. But it messed things up and I don't trust it anymore. None of the other mentioned methods worked for me either, maybe try the PC kingroot method
well this helps one thing

umm. . . when the no command option comes up just press the power button and the rest of options will appear. doesnt exactly solve your problem however unless you have the ZIP file to install, which is what I'm looking for.
What might happen if a ROM is used for another blu phone. ??
A similar phone as well.
Plz advise.
Damn! This thread just keeps going!
I haven't even looked here in a while, so I will bunch my commentary here. I'm also salaried now, so I bought into a OnePlus X (onyx), a more expensive cheapo device, so I do not use the 4.0L anymore.
As for rooting tools, I used the Kingroot APK successfully in the stock environment. I never tried flashing something SuperSU myself, but it could work. Is flashing a SU app possible from the fastboot interface?
And to Steve's question - it is technically possible to flash a ROM for a different device onto your own device, but is considered a bad idea due to the possibility of introducing incompatibilities and missing proprietary requirements. I feel like this would hold especially true to stock ROMs because the manufacturer probably has no interest in supporting anything more than the device that they are manufacturing for. Doing so removes many possible "compatibility" issues from even having to be considered, but I digress. In short, try to find a ROM made for your device and your device only.
Did you find the zip file for the recovery

You dont need root to recover imei all you have to do is type *#*#84666364#*#* in your dialer and you will be entered in EngineerMode then go into connectivity ,CDS information and radio information phone 1 or 2 then you will see AT+ type something eg.A then backspace and select the first thing you see. Put a space after AT+ and then put you imei code here "IMEI" between these "" You can find your imei by removing your battery it willl be there. After sending command reboot and imei is back.

Need help with semi-bricked Note 10 Plus (SM-N975F) - Stuck on recovery/download mode

Didn't know where to post this exactly, to be honest. This will be a long post
I was flashing AOSP roms in the phone. Tried to go back to One UI for the VoLTE thing
In one of the AOSP roms I couldn't install it in Lineage Recovery (older version of the rom thing). I saw i one post that doing an ADB Sideload in TWRP could solve the flashing problem. Did that. No issues
Wanted to test another AOSP rom but didn't boot (bootloop), so then I tried to go back to One UI. Don't remember if I did a format data in that moment.
After installing the rom and reboot to system, the phone doesn't even show the splash screen.
But tried to go to download mode and it went there, so the phone is still alive
Tried also going to recovery and it boots there (just to recovery and download mode)
I tried everything I could:
Flashed another custom ROM without success
Flashed other AOSP roms again
Changed the recovery (Lineage, TWRP and Stock tested)
Flashed the stock firmware through Odin several times
Tried to do a re-partition in Odin
Did several factory resets
Nothing seems to work. The weird thing is that, with any rom that I try to install, it tells that is installed, but when I go to the file manager in TWRP, it doesn't install anything. The free space before the installation is the same as after it. I don't know what else I can do. I just have the hope because the phone starts in BL and recovery
Anyone have any idea of what can I do to solve this? Or if there is a way to install the OS outside Odin or recovery (or ADB)
Tried with fastboot (Lineage Recovery) with several commands, and I think I found the issue. The system partition got corrupted. Need to know how to repair it (tried already with the repair option in TWRP)
Any help with this?

Good afternoon faithful and unfaithful
Unfaithful Redspikejr
The barbarian from Pakonan has no idea about this but in your case he would do the following since I have had your problems and it was resolved positively.
I'm going to try to help you, I don't know English and I use a translator, I hope it's good to understand each other. Luck
First option
1 I want you to put through odin in AP twrp-3.6.0_9-2-d2s_official_jan22.tar unchecking auto reboot
2 in twrp delete data and say YES restart in twrp again and try to install PixelExperience_d2s-12.1-20220522-1749-OFFICIAL. I understand you will have it on the SD, if not, put the ROM on a USB key and try to install it in TWRP.
If you manage to install it, then install magisk apk and restart the system.
3 once started install magisk apk and ready.
Second option
1 I want you to put through odin in AP twrp-3.6.0_9-2-d2s_official_jan22.tar unchecking auto reboot
2 in twrp delete data and say YES reboot in twrp again and install the Recovery lineage.img and reboot in Recovery lineage and Factory reset & reset system partitions
3 Install the PixelExperience_d2s-12.1-20220522-1749-OFFICIAL. I understand you will have it on the SD, if not, put the ROM on a USB key and install from there. turn off the phone and
4 in download mode odin AP twrp-3.6.0_9-2-d2s_official_jan22.tar unchecking auto reboot reboot into TWRP
5 Install Magisk apk and reboot system.
once started install magisk apk and ready.
remember to have the cable plugged in to enter TWRP and download while you are following the steps. Good luck, you will say.
Salu2 of your most faithful infidel Pako

i still have the same problem and still hunger for a solution because i just bought it .. Been running quite a few firmwares now. and bootloaders and kernels and recoverys so far... but whats funny is in pixel recovery it said i had a "d2x" model which is SM-N976 model with 5G... But every elsewhere it says d2s which is note10+. Odin also says SM-N975F model... But anyways... I really really hope someone finds a solution. Because im stuck as hell...
I also made a thread my self
Partly bricked... SM-N975F
Hey guys.. Ive been a visitor in XDA forums for quite a while... And i been running root and custom FW with more or less every samsung from S2 and up... But i just got my self a note10+ (atleast thats what ive been told) and i wanted to root it...

And i think its VBMETA problem. BUT i dont have any experience on that term...
Crossing fingers still...
I might have found a solution
Holy Hell, Im am so glad im not the only one that this is happened to. I will be more happy when we find a solution. I have put myself (device) in some questionable states but this has been a first and strange one for me . Its like being so close to booting into system then nothing.

Android Verified Boot 2.0
I found this link this morning. Im sure this is the culprit.
I experienced today something like you. It did not let me flash even stock firmware. But I succeeded to get out. I flased via ODIN BL slot from Dr.Ketan and in AP slot TWRP and nothing else. And I managed to enter the TWRP recovery and from there I restored previous backup.
I will try to do a multipost due to more threads and problems which are the same...
But this is the solution...
In my folder on the picture you will see 2 files i marked with green color...
Use the file and burn it according to your current setup. Odin or custom recovery.
And the problem will be solved. Used 14 days and countless of hours to get out of this boot loop!
So im finally happy to see the boot up screen without pressing into download mode or recovery mode...
The folder on the picture is to be found on this forum... Just cant remember from which thread exackly

Yes it did. I have gotten myself in some pretty bleak spots in the past and have been able to resolve all my issues on my own research, troubleshooting, trial and error etc. but I had never had a device that was actually able to power on, flash twrp, stockfirmware pass in odin, tried all type of pit file patches, adb and fastboot commands and still not be able to get into OS completely stumped me and I had exhausted so much time on it that i came to the conclusion that one of the talented members of XDA would for sure come up with a solution and I was right.
Sorry for the blabber, Ive been just a watcher of this site for many years and have never had to engage so my apologies for my forum etiquette.
I main focus now is to find a good rom to run with nethunter. I was running Dr. ketan Rom with nethunter while installing every LSposed Module that sounded cool and was beyond impressed by how stable my device still performed (one of my largest TWRP backups was 49Gb btw.) So yea, look for something with a strong kernal, light rom to see what I like. I have yet to try the new roms out due to unfamiliar processes of installing outside of Odin. Its been a while since I had some free time tinker in this space again.
Yea im just a watcher my self... it took me a few days until i decided to make this solution. Because i do think it was a important solution i found. But yes im just a watcher my self...
Now im stuck again though because i have a faulty usb-c, so its claming theres water inthe entrance which there isnt. And i been looking all over the forums for a solution like 3 times now. And people are just trying to trick the fault or acturally have a solution... But thats only IF they have water inside and the stupid alarm goes off...
Instead i need a solution to disable it now that its rooted. So need to know exackly what to look for and theres no help to get here. So kinda stuck... Irritating because i just wanna use it for dex... And not dex wiesless because its lagging on the mouse and what not... So my adapter need the recharge entrance and ... doh! Long journey so far... And its far from ended...
But im very happy it worked out for you... Keep in touch if you need another silly question. Then i might have silly questions for you aswell Good day my friend
@Titanity Bless your heart, I need your help . I broke my friends phone which is a note 10 plus, and all that you guys mentioned about trying everything I did as well.. I read your solution but I dont know where to find the files you marked and how to go about them exactly... the phone is currently on stock recovery and is stuck there.
