My device cannot detect dual shock 3 controllers?... - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Is there a workaround so that my phone can connect with dual shock 3 controllers? I tried it with OTG wired controller but my device still can't detect it. Planning to use it with EpsxE
I even installed a pixel rom because "1controller" doesn't work with miui 10 devices... :/

Is there a way to use the controller with other Android devices?

Hello,
Firstly I haven't tried it yet but I want to use a controller with my Note 5. Can I use the one that came bundled with the Shield? Does it use bluetooth?
If not, can someone reccomend me a good one to use with N5?
Thanks!
I will answer myself, there is no way to use it. Shame.
Doesn't the Shield use WiFi Direct to connect to the controller?

I can confirm the shield controller works very well when wired to an android device that supports otg.
The track pad is a bit sporadic though.
Volume controls and start button work which surprised me.
For what it's worth I tested it on a samsung galaxy note 12.2 with a USB 3.0 otg hub.
I had also already updated my shield TV to 3.0 (android 6.0) and run the peripheral update so I can't confirm if it worked on versions prior.
I know you were likely looking for wireless but it's something for sure.

Intel compute stick dual boot (win 10, android 4.4.4) and Motorola lapdock

Hi all,
I've a Motorola lapdock and an Intel compute stick with dual boot (windows 10 and android 4.4.4).
I cannot get the keyboard nor the touch work when connecting the intel stick to the lapdock.
It won't recognize on android (as well as in windows).
Anything I can do to make recognize the lapdock keyboard?

Camera Controller on Note9?

Hi guys!
I was wondering if it was possible to get the Camera Controller on my GWA 2 , which connected to a Note9. As you know, the Camera Controller supports 10 series phones and later. So no S9 or Note9.
I found a method, but it requires root and I unfortunately have a Snapdragon model, so it's not possible.
Thanks!
You can use you S-Pen

USB Type C DAC dongle

So I recently got an DAC dongle (Hidizs Sonata HD 2) and I can't seem to connect it on my realme X2.
I turned on OTG Connection in additional settings. Even tried doing usb debugging etc. But did not work. It sometimes recognized thou.
PS I already did patch the firmware on my hidizs and I also tried using it on samsung galaxy note 9 (it works flawlessly)

I have the global version.
I'm not sure if it's a software problem or hardware problem. Sometimes my phone can recognized it but it can be easily disconnected if you move the dac.
