Intel compute stick dual boot (win 10, android 4.4.4) and Motorola lapdock - Android Stick & Console Intel based Computers

Hi all,
I've a Motorola lapdock and an Intel compute stick with dual boot (windows 10 and android 4.4.4).
I cannot get the keyboard nor the touch work when connecting the intel stick to the lapdock.
It won't recognize on android (as well as in windows).
Anything I can do to make recognize the lapdock keyboard?

[Q]Windows 8 on Samsung GT3 10.1 (P5220)?

Hi all,
It's too early to ask but is there any possibility that the new Samsung GT3 10.1 (P5220) can support Windows 8?:fingers-crossed:
From what i've learnt, it has the Intel Atom Z2560 and Windows 8 supports that chipset, right?
I am looking for an alternative to Sony Tablet S which has either been discontinued or trashed as I am unable to find a vendor anywhere in India selling them.
I am crazy about the IR Blaster feature (both available for the above two devices).:victory:
And if Windows 8 can be installed, that would be VERY great too.:fingers-crossed:
Please share your thoughts.:good:

it is not completely a matter of windows 8 having support for the chip it is a matter of the boot loader and being able to load it theoretically if the tablet was identical to a windows tablet if the boot loader and rom image could be transplanted successfully it might work but i would not hold my breath on that working soon the most likely way you could possibly do it is remote desktop or virtual machine but then again that is not really running it on the hardware.

[Q] Windows 8.1 on LG gpad 8.3?

Hello everyone. I am new in xda, but i know the page long time ago. I was wondering if my LG Gpad 8.3 may get installed Windows 8.1. I need a new laptop, and i heard that talbet's windows 8.1 runs like a desktop windows. Thank you very much :highfive: :highfive:
nope
LG G pad 8.3 uses ARM architecture
(Full)Windows 8.1 requires Intel x86/x64 architecture
The Windows 8.1 RT does run on ARM (and has office), but dont think anyone has ported it to a non-supported device yet

USB OTG on older lumias?

Hello, now we have lumia 950 and 950XL which run the same OS build and have somewhat similiar hardware as older lumias. We also have interop and full unlock, so is it possible to import drivers from them?
not possible because hardware, not OS...
Also, USB-C Dual Role is not the same as USB-OTG.
But why android devices with similar hardware , usb type, same processor and stuff have OTG working? Do they have special hardware for this?
Which?
My friend's HTC Desire 816 is pretty similar to my lumia 640 XL, and OTG works on his device. BTW, HTC One M8 has OTG support, and it seems that windows version doesn't.
Yeah, look like Microsoft doesn't support OTG in WP. It has dismantled a myth then.
I'm sceptical... My Lumia 925 has a Snapdragon S4 which is described as USB OTG compatible....

it may not be hardware issue ,it requires drivers that will come with firmware, MS had no intention to support older devices with new features like ,call recording,USB-OTG,etc,no firmware updates for older devices ,may be feedback may help on this

Using the magic touchpad (Apple) with Nexus 7

Hi there.
I have Nexus 7 2013 (LTE Version) but the touch screen broke (LCD is fine).
I didn't use it for quite sometime and switched to kindle fire hdx because I have no place near me offer screen replacement so I want to use magic touchpad
I recently used OTG and connected my mouse to my nexus and installed LineageOS 14.1 (Nougat), the problem is, the Magic touchpad doesn't work anymore, it connects and it is detected but I can only press in the middle of the screen. The OS I had before LineageOS was some rom running android 5 and the touchpad was working fine.
How can I fix this?

My device cannot detect dual shock 3 controllers?...

Is there a workaround so that my phone can connect with dual shock 3 controllers? I tried it with OTG wired controller but my device still can't detect it. Planning to use it with EpsxE
I even installed a pixel rom because "1controller" doesn't work with miui 10 devices... :/
