[DISCONTINUED][TWRP BACKUP-ROM][10] Lightheart 1.0 Galaxy S10 [24.10.2020] - Samsung Galaxy S10 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Ot

Lightheart 1.0 - Efficiency is key.
Hi everyone. My name is Skulldron and for those of you who do recognise me, know me as the creator of Project Pixel, another one of the greatest ways to emulate the Pixel Experience, whilst keeping all the benefits of using OneUI and its stock optimized drivers as its base. Today I'm going to be introducing something, different. Over the years of working on Touchwiz based ROMs, I've learnt the description of every little apk, every little permission, what it accepts and what it rejects, its pros and its cons. As a result of this experience, I have one of the best debloat lists out there, with each item on the debloat list, being tested, literally through trial and error for over 4 years, and it goes over every file and every partition known in the OneUI OS. This exact same debloat script was used in Project Pixel, which has recieved positive review after positive review for how efficient and how lightweight OneUI became after the debloat. Today however, I present to you Lightheart OS, a new project that I will be building myself and updating monthly (as I do own an actual Galaxy S10). Lightheart, is essentially built equal to Project Pixel, except that instead of Pixelifying and adding another gigabyte worth of apks, permissions and modules, just stops after the debloating and optimization bit. I have done something similar with the Galaxy Tab S2, and it was called Performante, but it was even more stripped on features than I would have liked myself, so today I showcase Lionheart, the Lineage OS to my Cyanogenmod.
Features:
1. Heavily Debloated System Size - The overall size of the system partition has dropped from 5.2 GB to 3.2 GB, along with RAM consumption dropping from 4.2 GB on stock, to 3.1 GB on Lightheart.
2. Heavily Debloated Product Partition - All bloat has been removed/deprecated from the Product Partition dropping its size from 592 MB to 78 MB
3. Better Battery Performance due to Efficiency - With the removal of an incredible amount of bloat, along with better performance and lesser services, you should be looking at better SOTs and better standby times.
4. Better Performance due to the Cruel Custom Kernel - The Cruel Kernel Team have been kind enough to give me permission and access to their kernel, which in itself has many optimizations, along with the allowance to achieve higher system speeds and overclockabilty via Mtweaks (Needs to be installed seperately, I will provide a link)
5. Preloaded Magisk with Cruel - Cruel Kernel comes preloaded with Magisk, all you have to do is install the Magisk Manager
6. October Patch with the promise of updates every month - As I use this rom as my own daily driver, i will update it every month to keep up with optimizations by Samsung and security patches.
7. Restored some stock Google Permissions - Some stock google framework was restored, such as the default setup wizard.
8. All Essential Samsung Features have been kept - All essential OneUI features have been kept alive, for the sole purpose of necessity.
9. Completely Deknoxed - It is covered under the debloat
Changelog:
1.0 - Initial Release
TWRP Install Instructions:
1. Download the latest available TWRP Image from Ianmcd's thread (the current supported version is 3.4.0.3 and will be linked at the bottom of the thread)
2. Download the custom VBmeta file and install 7Zip.
3. Rename the downloaded TWRP Image as recovery.img.
4. Highlight both the vbmeta.img and recovery.img, then right click while selected, 7Zip and then add to archive.
5. Once your in the 7zip interface, choose .tar and do not change any of the configurations and build the .tar file.
6. For this next bit, you'll need to download Odin 14.4 (links will be provided)
7. Open Odin, and then connect your device via USB.
8. Select AP, and then select the newly made recovery.tar.
9. Once it is loaded, press start, and when it reboots, hold the recovery combination (Power + Volume Up + Bixby) to boot into TWRP.
You have now successfully installed the latest TWRP for your S10 and can now proceed to actual install. Remember that if you are coming from stock you will need to flash the MultiDisabler, linked at the end of the thread.
Install Instructions (THIS ROM IS NOT FLASHABLE!):
1. Download Lightheart 1.0.
2. Open the zip and extract the folder.
3. Switch off your phone, and go into twrp via the button combination.
4. Make a backup of your cache (This will make the directory to TWRP's recovery system)
5. Boot back into the OS and head to where you stored Lightheart 1.0.
6. Cut the entire Lightheart Folder and move it to TWRP/BACKUPS/Random Number/
7. Now boot back into TWRP and wipe system, data, dalvik, cache.
8. Go to the restore option, and you should see Lightheart as a restorable ROM.
9. Restore Lightheart and once your done, boot into system
And thats about it for the install process. It is a bit unconventional, but I have been unable to procure or manufacture a working installer script as of this moment, so please bear with me for now.

Hi. The plan is to slowly extend the ROM to the Galaxy s10+ and s10e, hence why the thread is in cross development

I encourage you to ensure to provide sufficient support on XDA. Please check the telegram sticky for more info. Also since this is essentially a TWRP backup I've edited your thread title to indicate this as this should be clear from the get go. Do not re-edit that again unless you're able to have the rom be flashable. Thank you and all the best of luck with your project.

Awesome !! Love it so far. Nice performance, genshin impact is not dropping frames like on other oneui ROMs.
Keep up the good work

Hi,
I would like to use your rom if it means longer battery life. However I have no knowledge of rooting or flashing a galaxy S10 phone. I'm not afraid of the terminal but I'm afraid of loosing access to KBC mobile or Google Pay or any other app that is financially or government involved.
Is it because you say deknoxed that it will have problems with such apps or quite the opposite ?
Another question is, Can Jodin3 be used as well? I only have access to MacOS.
Forgive my English, it's not my mother language.
Kr,

Don't do anything with your phone then if you don't want to loose Google pay etc...

hi ,thx 4 ur hard work, sorry 4 a NOOB question: i have an s10 which is G973N, can i flash this rom?

As long as its not G973U, it should work but I advise caution when flashing a ROM which is not the same model

So far this Rom ist great, the lack of the samsung account makes setting up some apps a bit difficult, but other than that this is awesome!

How are temperatures on this debloated rom?

does it mean it would work for s10e or we need to wait a while?

Hi, this rom works with the latest bootloader?

[ROM] [AOSP](8/9/14) Shiny ROM: OTA-Like, Stock Android [4.4.4] [KTU84P]

Shiny ROM: Android 4.4.4, KTU84P for Galaxy Nexus (Maguro)
Skip right to the downloads (if you dare )
Hello there XDA GNex community! I'll admit this is a pretty spontaneous post; I've been building ROMs from the Android Open Source (Project) for awhile now, but I've never "published" any of them. I myself used to own a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, so I've always built from AOSP to make sure I'm as up to date as possible. Well, that's a little background so let's get going with the overview of the ROM itself:
Overview
This ROM is Android KitKat 4.4.4, build KTU84P. The ROM is built directly from source, that is, the Android source code published by Google available for download to all of us developers. The reason I say the ROM is "OTA-like" is because I make VERY few modifications to it, aside from the things that it takes to get the ROM working. I'll go into detail about those things below, but basically I just want the ROM to make your phone feel stable and shiny and new as if it has just received a new OTA update. That being said, it's clear that the landscape of Nexus devices is changing as new ones are released. Therefore, the other primary goal of this ROM is to keep our Galaxy Nexus as close to the modern Nexus design as possible. This means that I will also add in features that will still be stock, but will also make our phones as close to a current Nexus as possible.
As for how I handle the forum side of things, I'm always open to comments, questions, suggestions, requests, etc. I know that most of those things will often be in the form of criticism, but it's okay, I think I can handle it That being said, I do also have a life and am a college student, so I may not get to come on here ALL the time. I will check back as frequently as possible, and I'm hoping that you guys will help each other out as much as possible! Keep it friendly! So now for the details...
Features
Stock Android 4.4.4, build KTU84P
Source (AOSP) built kernel (boot.img)
Easily rootable (see information below)
G-Apps (GMail, Play Store, etc.) included in build along with Nexus apps
Stock browser replaced with Google Chrome
Shiny restart options - access them by holding down the power button and then long pressing on "Power Off"
All the crazy Google proprietary app stuff has been taken care off
Updated frequently
Everything works!
So what do I mean when I say "Everything works!"?
I'm sure by now you all know that when someone says that, it usually ends up not being true. This ROM is not an exception to that rule, but I can say that I've tested most of the things that would be expected to work in stock Android, such as...
WiFi Tethering (no subscription check)
Bluetooth streaming
Google account sign-in and auto-restore of apps and settings
Google Wallet
Location Services (pretty fast GPS lock in my area also)
Photosphere
Android beam
Photo editing with the new filters
Email
Exchange support
Like I said, the normal stuff (data, voice, hardware acceleration, etc.)
More things that aren't important enough to mention here - check out the changelog for a more comprehensive list
Possible Bugs
It's impossible for me to test for and notice EVERY single possible bug in the operating system, so as of right now I can't say that there are any, although I'm sure you will find some. If you do, report them here!
Other IMPORTANT Information
Root
But wait, nothing in this post said anything about root!!!11!!1!1!!! That's right, my ROM does NOT have root built in! (I don't use any root apps, and it's important to the whole "OTA-like" theme). That being said, the ROM is easily rootable; I made sure of this because I know that many, many of you will use root for many useful purposes. If you want to root the ROM, it's as easy as installing Chainfire's new superuser control app/su with this ZIP file. More detailed information can be found in the "Installation Instructions" section. **NOTE** If you are rooted and upgrading to a new build, you should not have to reflash the rooting flashable ZIP because the ROM will keep root for you.
Updates
Now that the ROM has gotten to this stage, the update policy needs a bit of editing Based on the stats I have access to from the website host and data that I collect myself, it seems like Shiny ROM is currently (as of May 27, 2014) stable for at least 80% of the users who have downloaded it. Based on this, and because the ROM is stock, Nexus-like, it doesn't really make sense to update the ROM as frequently as before. The ROM will still be updated as soon as possible after new versions of Android are released. In between Android versions, I will work on making things 100% stable, although that goal isn't always attainable with older devices and aging hardware support. If we decide to explore other paths for the ROM, you will see many more updates If/when the time comes for me to stop updating Shiny ROM, I will let everyone know in a clear way.
Radios
This ROM will (most likely) work with any maguro radios (so long as you have the appropriate ones for your device/area; however, I of course recommend using the most recent radios doe your device. You can find flashable ZIPs of all radio versions in the download post.
Bootloader
Once again, I'm assuming that this ROM will work with all tuna bootloaders; BUT for optimal experience and performance, use the newest Google-approved bootloader, PRIMEMD04. My ZIP installation package for that bootloader can be downloaded here.
ClockworkMod Recovery
I personally recommend using ClockworkMod Recovery as it has always worked well for me with no quirks. Android 4.2 messed up a few aspects of recoveries because of its multi-user system. ClockworkMod Recovery has been updated to correct some of these issues, and I recommend updating to the most recent version, 6.0.4.7. You can flash either the touch recovery or non-touch recovery image through fastboot OR you can download my flashable recovery update ZIP (touch/non-touch) and flash it in recovery. Check out the installation instructions for more details on this.
Some Other Not-so-important Information
Naming Conventions
All of my ROM ZIP files are automatically generated by my build computer. All builds begin with the prefix ShinyROM_maguro_aosp. That prefix is always followed by the date in mmddyy format (e.g. 112212), a hyphen ("-"), and the time in 24-hour, hhmmss format (e.g. 153945). Finally, all builds end with the "signed" suffix - it just helps me know which packages have finished building and which have not. Hopefully this helps everyone to know which update is newest; I stay away from version numbers because I let Google do all of the version control.
Source
In keeping with the spirit of open-source, all relevant Shiny ROM code can be viewed on Github. I'm not extremely experienced with Github, so bear with me as I learn! Thank you!
File Hosting
I've switched over from using Dev-host to a privately hosted site, graciously and generously given to me by user Goofball. Dev-host is still an amazing service, but it's much more convenient for me to use a privately hosted site, plus I get my own suburl and FTP access! HUGE thanks to Goofball! The private hosting will definitely help me deliver a better experience to you guys as far as downloading goes. You can view all of my uploaded, public files here: http://shinyrom.goofball.org/
Also, if anyone ever wants to mirror for me, please feel free so long as you keep the file name and the file itself intact. As for everyone who downloads from a posted mirror: BE CAREFUL! Always use a virus scanner and be careful with what you are putting on your device!
Installation Instructions (VERY IMPORTANT - Note: You can flash all of these ZIPs in CWM or TWRP*)
*Android 4.4 KitKat builds must be installed using the latest version of your preferred recovery!
ROM
1. Download the latest version of the ROM from the download post. (Also download any other files you will need to install, such as Chainfire's SuperSU Root ZIP, radio installation ZIPs, the bootloader installation ZIP, etc.)
2. Put the file(s) you downloaded in step 1 on your phone's internal storage (sdcard).
3. Turn off your phone.
4. Boot into the bootloader of the phone by holding down both volume buttons and the power button simultaneously until you feel a vibration and see a large arrow that says "Start".
5. Use the volume keys to change the arrow until it says "Recovery," then press the power button to boot into recovery.
6. Because of differences in recovery types, I will make the following steps rather generic.
7. Wipe cache.
8. Wipe dalvik cache.
9. If you want to be 100% sure there are no problems, wipe data. If you are coming from another ROM or Android version, wipe data. If you do not wipe data and something goes wrong, repeat this process but wipe data - this step is not necessary if you are simply upgrading.
10. If you are updating your radios, flash the radio ZIP
11. If you are updating your bootloader, flash PRIMEMD04-signed.zip
12. Flash the ROM (ShinyROM_maguro_aosp...signed.zip)
13. If you are rooting, flash Chainfire's SuperSU ZIP file - this step is not necessary if you were rooted on the previous build and are simply upgrading.
14. Reboot your phone, and enjoy!
**Note: If you are simply upgrading to a new version of the ROM and want to keep root, follow the exact instructions above, and do not format /system. It really is not necessary to format /system at any time (unless specifically noted), as the ROM installer has this function built in.
Mods
1. Download the latest version of the mod(s) you wish to install from the download post.
9. Install the mod(s) you downloaded in step 1.
10. Fix permissions (not really necessary)
11. Reboot and enjoy!
**Note: You can remove all mods you've installed by dirty flashing the latest version of the ROM.
ClockworkMod Recovery (Fastboot method - must have an unlocked bootloader and fastboot in your path)
1. Download either the CWM touch recovery image or non-touch recovery image to your computer and rename it to "recovery.img".
2. Power off your phone.
3. Boot into the bootloader of the phone by holding down both volume buttons and the power button simultaneously until you feel a vibration and see a large arrow that says "Start".
4. Plug your phone into your computer using the standard USB cable.
5. Open the command prompt/terminal and navigate to the folder where your "recovery.img" is saved.
6. Type "fastboot devices" to make sure your phone is recognized; a serial number should show up on the screen.
7. Type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" and wait for the process to complete (should be quick).
8. You're done! Use the volume keys to select "Recovery" and boot into your new recovery!
ClockworkMod Recovery (Flashable ZIP method - easier)
If you are updating your recovery before flashing a ROM, these steps should ALL be completed PRIOR to flashing the ROM.
1. Download either the touch recovery flashable ZIP or the non-touch recovery flashable ZIP.
2. Place the ZIP file downloaded in step 1 on your internal storage/sdcard.
6. Choose "Install update from sdcard"
7. Select "Choose file from sdcard"
8. Find the flashable recovery ZIP file you downloaded and install it
9. Back up to the root menu of recovery
10. Select "advanced"
11. Select "reboot recovery"
12. The phone should boot up into your new recovery!
Credits
As with most ROMs, I only did a small part to get everything together. Also, a note that should be made here is that when I am using someone else's file, I ALWAYS host files on the Shiny ROM server to ensure that I don't put any unnecessary stress on their servers. Any file, however, still belongs to and is accredited to its original creator as listed below:
Willyjay - For providing us with lots of amazing and innovative mods for the ROM!
Inmanster - Another great modder who we are fortunate to have here in the thread. He works in collaboration with Willyjay and his mods for many things, but also does some of his own unique mods!
Chainfire - For their SuperSU app and su binary, as well as the convenient ZIP update package, which was previously used and recommended. Check out their website, http://www.chainfire.eu/
Groupers - My new buddy who helped me out with a GPS issue that popped up in 4.2.
Google - Without their amazing staff and willingness to share the source code of their operating system, I wouldn't have been able to build this ROM! Of course, all of the Google apps are theirs, along with the Play Store and system apps. They really are the true owners of all of this.
Samsung - We all may have some mixed feelings about them, but in the end they gave us the amazing, hackable phone that is the Galaxy Nexus.
XDA - By providing such a great Android community, ROMs like this one are able to easily connect with users and get their work out there
Dev-Host - The file-sharing service with virtually no limits on sharing - kudos to them and their hard work. d-h.st
Koush and the ClockworkMod/ROM Manager Team - They make the best recovery that's been around for longest, and their constant updates allow us to keep making ROMs! Also, Koush's recently released open source Superuser control app is the best available and the one linked to in the thread. Thanks Koush! clockworkmod.com
Kevdliu - Huge thanks to this dev and their amazing quick settings mod!
The CyanogenMod Team - For a working implementation of DSPManager on Android which can be ported to any AOSP-based ROM! Without them and Bigwavedave25, the DSP manager mod would not be available! Be sure to thank them and to check out the CyanogenMod website! Also, for their feature-filled version of the stock Messaging app which is available as a mod for my ROM!
bouchigo - a user who has helped to make the CM10 Messaging app available as a mod for my ROM in conjunction with Willyjay for bringing it to my attention.
Schoat333 - A user who helped out Willyjay with the bubble styled MMS mods. The credit for the screenshots to go along with the mods goes to him!
Yarly - The most experienced admin I've ever had the pleasure of talking with, who taught me some new debugging tricks and answered some of my questions.
Razorloves - Another admin who helped me out with a few problems and answered a lot of my questions!
Tiny4579 - A kernel dev who also took the time to talk with me and answer a few of my questions.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work and sharing that work with others!
DISCLAIMER
Come on guys, it's a Galaxy Nexus, to what extent could it really get messed up? Nonetheless, in case someone flashes this then puts their phone in the microwave or something and tries to blame it on me, I am not directly responsible for anything that occurs, either negative or positive, from flashing this ROM to your phone. Despite that, I am posting in the spirit of the Android community, a community that I have embraced and belonged to for several years, and I would never try to hurt any of your innocent, beautiful phones. Also, none of the original source for Android belongs to me, nor do any of Google's apps. All preinstalled applications are property of Google, Inc. and I make no claim of ownership to them.

Mods
Before installing any of the packages below, please be sure to check out the mod installation instructions in the OP!
Key
To make mod installation more convenient, all mod links will now be color-coded based on the files they change. The key shows what each color corresponds with:
Red - SystemUI.apk
Blue - framework-res.apk
Purple - SystemUI.apk & framework-res.apk
Green - Other
If you install mods that are in the same color group, it is likely that they will overwrite each other. It is OK to overwrite a previously installed mod, but please note that the originally installed mod will no longer be there. If you want to completely revert to stock, flash the "Back to Stock ZIP" mod under the baldwinguy77 mod section. This mod replaces your SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk files with ones from the stock ROM.
Developer-specific Mods
All of these mods have been provided by some really awesome mod developers who take the time to continue to make updated mods for my newest ROM builds. That being said, they have lives and can't always get the mods out right away, so make sure the date next to their name matches the build you're running! They usually are around the thread and are open to doing custom mods if you ask Be sure to thank them and check out the credits section for more info!
Baldwinguy77 (Updated for 8/9/14 build)
Back to Stock ZIP - Returns you to the stock version of the ROM by removing SystemUI and framework-res mods.

Black Dash-style Softkeys - Replaces the stock navigation bar buttons with black, dash-style ones.
Blue Stock Softkeys - Replaces the stock navigation bar buttons with blue-colored ones.
Carrier Text Replacement - Replaces the carrier text on the lockscreen and pulldown notification shade with "Galaxy Nexus".
Extended Battery Framework Mods - Improve accuracy of battery level reporting for those using extended batteries.
2100 mAh (with Carrier Text Replacement mod)
3050 mAh
3800 mAh
5900 mAh (with No CRT-off Animation mod)
Grey Battery Percentage - Enables display of the current battery percentage in the status bar with grey-colored font.
InmanMod - A combination of the 2100 mAh battery, no CRT-off animation, carrier text, 36 DPI nav. bar, and white zenyth softkeys mods.
No CRT-off Animation - Removes the stock, default CRT-like screen off animation.
White Zenyth-style Softkeys - Replaces the stock navigation bar buttons with white, zenyth-style ones.
Universal Mods & Downloads
These mods have been compiled by myself, sometimes in conjunction with the modders above, to always work with any version of the ROM (but not necessarily any device). Therefore, you don't have to worry so much about these being up-to-date because they should always work. If that is ever not the case, simply PM me and we'll get it fixed This section also includes some other Verizon Galaxy Nexus related downloads such as the latest radios and bootloader. You can use these according to the installation instructions in the OP.
Universal Mods
AOSP Web Browser (for Android 4.4) - Installs the AOSP web browser with Chrome bookmark syncing for Android 4.4.
DSP Manager (for Android 4.4) - Installs the DSP Manager app along with the audio libs and configs important to running the service, allowing you to customize the audio equalizer of your device. At the moment, certain apps on Android 4.4 do not work with the modular DSP service.

Also just want to make it clear that to anyone who tested the 2/8 maguro build for me, the 2/9 one is the same!
The real deal.

No GApps "Add-on" Zip
Some people don't like the way ShinyROM includes its own GApps. Flash this zip directly after the ROM and it will strip out most of the included GApps so that you may use the preferred GApps of your choosing. This will leave the core GApps (Store, Services, etc.) as well as any others required for basic functionality (Keyboard, Camera, Launcher, Dialer, etc.) since there are none of the AOSP counterparts included.
This is particularly handy for GApps packages that try to measure the free space and may fail to install if it feels there isn't enough room.
Enjoy!
Finally! Boom!

No worries! I actually love having the GApps included, but a lot of people were fussing about it in Sesme's port thread so I thought I'd help out.
Also if you're interested, on xda here we've got a complete maguro radio thread and CWM thread I maintain:
[REF] [RADIO] [GSM] Galaxy Nexus GT-i9250 Baseband Collection & Discussion

:good:
Is this rom lagging for anyone? Right after I flash it I can't even pass the Setup Wizard ..
Just awesome man! The port was already the best ROM. Pure stock, and I can tell you, it's blazing fast!

Awesome! Exactly what we need.
Giving this ROM a go.
Nice to see its official now. But on post #1 there are some reference to rootzwiki as xda and I know its probably a copy+paste thing that's why. Just pointing it out

Are those battery Extended Battery Framework zips compatible with maguro? I downloaded them from toro's RootzWiki thread a while ago and they were giving me a bootloop
Also, can I use them with other ROMs?
Inviato dal mio Galaxy Nexus utilizzando Tapatalk
I've read that it's not possibile to flash ROM over a stock 4.3 rom.
Someone can confirm this? Also if I wipe /cache partition and Dalvik cache?
Investigating it seems that zip file contains an update script which only overwrites the entire /system mount point.
So, what are the consequences of updating ROM over a stock 4.3 rom?

OnePlus One DroidKit | by iTechy OPEN SOURCE! | No longer being maintained

Droidkit OnePlus One Windows
Hey guys iTechy21 here and I am glad to announce I have a NEW project I'm working on to make an open source toolkit made from c# to allow easy development for other devices. This project will aim to support as many devices as possible with different toolkits for different devices therefore unifying the experience between them.
This will also be 100% open source when fully complete and is released under the GPLV3 licence (apart from the stuff I did not develop e.g. Custom Recoveries, root.zip, adb / fastboot and stock software all rights go to their respective owners).
Features
Support for any android version and Rom
Full Backup and Restore of apps + data (Nandroid is in the works...)
Unlock / Lock your bootloader (removed locking due to possible issues)
Flash a custom recovery (all supported including stock)
Shows attached device(s) in status bar
Advanced CMD mode for power users - type any ADB Command you want!(Will be reimplemented!)
Booting the device into and out of fastboot with a button click
Flash back to stock (Lollipop!) and keeps your bootloader unlocked
To come
Flash 100% stock DONE!
Save backups with custom names DONE!
Install APK's through ADB DONE!
Flash zip via recovery commands DONE!
Improve UI to make it look cleaner...
Backup the EFS Partition (will be coming Soon) DONE!
Log screen to help amateurs with adb learn (and also output errors to be more verbose) Abandoned due to too many issues
Ability to change colour theme from light to dark and the colours (coming Soon™)
Improve OTA system (continuous)
I am accepting requests if they are not too obscure to find out (even better if you find a way to do it as it cuts down on my research time which I don't have a lot of )
Legal
This is an unofficial toolkit made by an independent developer who has no association with oneplus apart from the fact that he owns a 64gb Sandstone black phone. I cannot be held responsible for anything that may happen to your phone! Even if it is just exploding, catching fire or just voiding the warranty.
Changelog
Material 0.0.1.5 ) - Major Milestone! - Untested Oxygen OS flashing. Do-so at your own risk! (Might not work not fully tested)
Improved theming
Updates to internal .dll's
Stability improvements
UI Tweaks
More verbosity via dialogue messages
System requirementsTo run this needs an x86 or x64 based system (Not supported on Windows RT)
And version 4.5 of the .NET framework (which is installed upon install if missing (needs testing!) and requires Windows 7 or Higher (sorry XP users )

I knew that would be an issue. That's due to the fact it includes all the stock files for CM11S. However I will make it possible by downloading it within the app unzipping it and then flashing the device. But I'm fairly novice at c# and I don't have a lot of time to develop at this moment in time...

Thank you I'll finally get noticed for something XD
... It works great but the size is a big deal.
Also, i suggest that ... you show what version of recovery you will flash - TWRP ( is generic and the filename does not gives you clue, the same for the others )
Also, for the Stock firmware ( wich version is it ?! )
SuperSU is not updated ... you could improve and use the last stable from chainfire
all the other things looks great so far.

Thanks for the feedback. I may improve that make to another form with information on the specific versions (along with a built in download tool). Along with updating the SuperSU.zip
The first thing I'll do is work on that once all the basic features are there. But generally its the latest version of TWRP that is stable along with the other recoveries...
As for the stock I think the one I included was 44s but it may be 5Q (ew). Ill be implementing a downloader for the stock images to download whatever the latest version is from cyanogen...

I'll see what I can do but the size will be reduced in the next update as it will remove the stock zip and replace it with a downloader which will download the stock images and then flash them reducing the size massively... (but I use Gdrive as its easy to find the download link unlike with Dev-host...)
I can´t flash twrp with this toolikt any one have a clue?
Do you have the adb drivers installed? Or is it throwing an error?
Updated to fix issues, add ota support, install APK's and improve performance

EDIT: I can't read. Sorry.
dont worry about it
we always have moments... Its almost ready but I don't have a lot of time to develop so it may take me a while to get everything in there....
Just improving the ota updater now as its throwing exceptions...

[ROM] [SM-G920P] [DEBLOAT/DEODEX] TDH-JR (Just enough ROM) [v5.0]

Description
TDH-JR is a stock derived ROM that is extremely debloated, deodexed and comes with a highly stable, tunable and fast kernel (@tdhite Skyhigh). This ROM is not for those seeking a lot of UI tweaks, mods or otherwise. If you want that, go get BiggDaddy or similar. This ROM is about sticking as close as possible to stock less the bloat, though also extremely battery efficient, fast, clean and highly stable.

How to Install
READ THE DISCLAIMER BEFORE INSTALLING!
Assure you are on the appropriately similar firmware (see Previous Releases above for the correct firmware for prior releases of this ROM).
Make a backup of your existing rom (TWRP nandroid is best)
Backup apps as desired (e.g., via Titanium Backup)
Place the ROM flashable downloaded from the link(s) above in internal storage (e.g., /sdcard)
Boot into TWRP Recovery
Wipe Cache, Dalvik in all cases, Data if you are not dirty flashing.
Dirty flashing coming from pure stock may work, but no promises
Dirty flashing over a previous, clean install of this ROM should work fine
Flash (i.e., Install in TWRP) the ROM flashable zip
Reboot (to System)
Enjoy!
Dirty Flashing
Generally dirty flashing over stock setups should work fine, losing no settings. To do so:
Upgrade to corresponding Firmware version (e.g., QF1) in Odin (or if you already have, no need);
Copy the downloaded zip flashable to somewere in /sdcard (let's just presume that dir for now);
Load TWRP Recovery;
Backup your existing Stock QA2 ROM;
Wipe Dalvik, Cache, System (Data optionally);
Install this ROM from where you copied it (e.g., /sdcard/TDH-JR-G920P-QA2.zip);
Reboot to System -- it will take a good long time (and likely at least one reboot), just hang with it;
Once up, if you did not use the 'Briefing' Page in your UI, just turn it of again -- upgrades generally turn it back on;
Enjoy.
After installing this ROM, the initial boot will take many minutes and will likely reboot at least once during its initial setup sequence. Many operations are taking place (e.g., Dalvik regeneration, Synapse support setup, etc.).

There is one thing, and one thing only that dominates SOT with screens like on the S6. Reduced brightness.
For the rest, such as CPU usage diffs between screen off and on, voltages, core stuffing, hotplugging, and all the rest, yes, that is all covered for max SOT (mostly due to the kernel).

My Skyhigh port is the stock kernel as its base with relevant (and many) commits on top to provide tuning access and additional features necessary to have rock solid, fast and efficient operations. The use of stock kernel in this scenario is not really in my plans for this ROM, but thanks for the suggestion none the less. The main reason for that is really about battery and efficiency, the stock kernel is simply too unsophisticated in certain areas due to it being quite a bit behind the standard Linux commits.

Whatever recovery you are using is suggesting you do *not* have a Sprint Galaxy S6. Your best bet is post the output of "getprop" in your recovery so we can determine what you actually have.

There are no tunings for speeding up the operations taking place. I does take a bit, understood. Much of the time is involved in setting up (injecting) SELinux policy properly, checking/fixing telephony databases for hotspot fix, running various processes for optimizations (cortexbrain, setting up crond, etc.). If you compute the percentage of uptime between boot and overall use, it is (normally, anyway) much, much, much less than even 0.1% of the time.

Update: Got it !!! ?
? I went ahead and started different version of TWRP to get that error go away and it actually stuck this time with no seandroid error, soon as it loaded I went in the TWRP I wiped my delvik and cache at the same time first then I did data all by itself and just in case I got the error again I left system alone I took a chance because I really didn't want to Flash over the bloated stock but I took a chance with it and it worked and it stuck like glue, yeaaaaa

New Device new trouble. Got bootloops with the uploaded Version so do i have to revert some Things. Stay tuned!
I am looking forward to testing this out. I am happy we are finally getting a ROM that is based off the stock ROM. I will keep an eye out when you fix the bootloop issue. I will then download and install it on my phone and give you feedback.. Thank you!

I'm still fighting with Treble (A/B System // Vendor), and there is a some unusable stuff like the Debloat Part in AROMA which was needed for the Standard OEM Bloat from SONY, LG and Others. But i think i can push a clean and good working Build at the end of this Week...
Stay tuned
EDIT: Slightly updated Build will come in some Hours! I reverted my latest changes and cleaned everything up. Looks like the Kernel Patching does not work that nicely. I will try the famous Elemental Kernel for My needs...

Is it absolutely necessary to wipe Data if your already running stock? Should I flash patch now or wait for the update.

Most of the final Content is missing but You can go thru AROMA without Problems. The DPI May be also a bit low which means a Mini Setup Wizard but You can adjust that over the Display and Text Size Settings for now. It was running stable for me so far but i own my Pixel not that long and have to Test more Things Out.
BR
Oh and Yes, Data should be wiped since many Essential Things get changed on the System Part like the Multi Tasking (RAM Management) Audio Rendering, UI Rendering and so on. A Clean Start means less or even No Problems. A Backup of Stock would be also a smart move which saves Time. A compressed Image including Vendor, boot and System should Take Up under 5gb of Storage ..

Cool bro. I'll elect to to wait while you get adjusted to this device. I know your work is superb based off what you've done on devices past.
Will this work on walleye (Pixel 2)?

Can aynone tell Me btw why there is no MTP in TWRP? Reovering the Device after testing a Patch means always a full flash with Factory Image for Me. Followed by a boot in the System where i have to use PTP to copy my ZIP. Cruel to develop like that TWRP is the other painful Point. Wish the Pixel would have a classical Recovery Partition...
EDIT: Seems like we have to boot once after flashing Stock to be able to flash Magisk and get a booting System!? That could be the Reason why my full stock rom wasn't booting. Feeling me a bit dumb right now...
EDIT2: I will push more Time in a full Stock ROM to get a Monthly updated Base for my Changes. Once i got a fully working ROM can i start with adding AROMA Options and Stuff like that. I think the only Problem with My ROM was the patched Kernel which don't wanted to boot and not the deodexing or the Updater Script... Any help with it is welcome

Uh.. secrets? Maybe you're a non-native English speaker and used the wrong word, but what 'secret optimizations' can there be in something that is opensource?
Could you elaborate on the collection of Android Build Optimizations you are using? Can't see for ourselves because the link to source code is 404.

Hey,
Secrets is maybe not the right Word. It's more like many Developers and even OEMs don't know about all the Stuff of Android. I discovered Bug fixes, functions and Features which are now used in a wide range of Mods and ROMs and even OEM Firmwares, and while never getting Credits for it am i aware about where it popped up first in the Web ? I was the First One for example who got all real Pixel Features on a non Pixel Device by porting a lof of System Stuff and Not only by changing one or two Files. I also ported MIUI in the past which was mind opening for Me Back in that Time...
The Secrets i use here are just a greatly tested bunch of Configs for the Hard and Software of our Android Devices in other Words.
And yeha, sorry for My English! It's not the best ?
What should I do if my phone freezes? I have this issue everytime. If I reboot into TWRP and then flash the Patch again, I get an error

I discovered this issue only with attached USB Cable, have you tried it without? As usual can you just press the bottom right edge a few times and you will complete the installer without Problems when this happens.
I'm still working on a full stock zip... Possible that i end up with raw images :/
Sorry if I sound as a noob, but what does it means "press the bottom right edge"? It stucks on 82% and there is nothing to press. ?

It's the spot where You clicked to go to the next Page in AROMA. Press it 4 or 5 Times and it will exit AROMA to TWRP. It's a ugly AROMA bug which never got fixed in the last 4 Years...
Alright, just to let You know Guys. Making Stock ROMs from actual Google Images is cruel. There is almost no benefit against flashing with a PC except for the need to have a PC. The Patch will be the only Thing that works just fine if we want Stock Edits...
I'm actually ripping everthing out of the Patch and i'm redoing the Scripts and hope it will work. Cross the Fingers!
Can anyone tell me btw how to create a working backup of stock with TWRP? Looks like my backups won't start..

[ROM][A515F/DS][OneUI 3.1 - S20 Port] Just4Fun v1

HELLo everyone...
After several weeks, months and before Android 12 released, i decided to share this ROM to this A51 community. Hopefully you guys enjoy it and don't offend me if the ROM is bad, so....let's get it ON.
Things to do before flashing:
1. Make sure you're on binary 5 (this ROM tested and using binary 5 vendor, so to avoid any broken or whatever error flash your device with latest firmware).
2. Backup your IMEI (highly recommended).
Flashing:
1. Clean flash is recommended. Flash kernel, flash J4F vendor and system.img, flash multy disabler (if necessary) then full wipe and also you can perform "typing YES" format. Reboot to recovery again, then flash as usual you guys always do (Magisk etc.).
ROM Features from S20 and Note 20 line up:
1. Samsung Dex (not full features coz need fix at kernel level).
2. Flagship live blur
3. Flagship edge lighting style
4. AirCommand (S pen)
5. LiveDrawing
6. Multy screen resolutions (HD+ - FHD+ - WQHD+)
7. 1000++ system fonts
8. Flagship sound quality and effects
9. Camera features unlocked (pro video etc.)
10. All original A51 features
11. Common tweaks here and there and so many possibility to unlock another S20 features
Bugs:
Minor glitch in pro mode video, and not really remember and deep testing everything, but hopefully still acceptable (hopefully ) but yeah..nothing's perfect, if you found one let's discuss together in A51 telegram group: https://t.me/samsunga51
Hall of Fame:
@MrWaehere for his awesome CRB kitchen
@VDavid003 and his rom TreeUI for my inspiration and countless help
@Yillié and his OFox recovery and also countless help and advise and ideas
@BlassGO and his Dynamic Installer, patches, advise and countless contributions (thanks for making AirCommand even greater lol)
@manudinath and his projects.
@Winb33 for fonts mod
@topjohnwu for Magisk
@ianmacd for multy disabler and TWRP
Stock Kernel Source
PM me if i forgot to mention someone.
Advise and Tips:
- It's normal during first boot if lags occurs, give the ROM some times to settle, finish your setup, update your apps and you good to go..
- It's better to avoid update in Galaxy store related to system app, such as MDE Service Framework, Samsung Core Services etc. It might causing conflict due to mixed up firmware. But anyway it's up to you.
- Please do not complain regarding app missing (getting debloated) and related to debloat. Because it's very hard to acomodate every person's taste. Bloatware is very Objective and absurd for each person and I know it's supposed to be using Aroma installer or any script but i don't have time that much to do that.
