Where can I download the global firmware? - Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Questions & Answers

The device came with a normal global firmware. Updated by OTA. It shot me to put the Chinese one. Now I want to return that firmware. But I found only beta global without OTA.

About the note 5 ai

I bought note 5 ai china version the phone came with global ROM mui 9.5.5.0 oeimifa i noticed ihave an update available in ota
Mui 10.0.4.0 oeimifh
Is it safe to upgrade?
Yes. Why would you think otherwise? If its the anti-rollback thing, no need to worry (unless you go to roms prior to 9.5.19).
I was thinking that because my phone in Chinese version with global ROM maybe the update is only for real global version and will not work with mine
So the update will work fine ? Then I will download it ty
I bought this phone for custom ROMs my seller installe
d a fake rom ?it was just easier to flash TWRP and bootleggers 3.5 beta than using miflash to restore the official miui and on the plus side the bootloader was already unlocked

What is the difference between those firmwares?

Hello.
I want to flash latest firmware, running Syberia ROM, but I want to know what are the differences between: FW, FW-less and FW-non-arb?
Thanks.
If you are still anti rollback (arb) 3, installing the latest firmware (FW) will update your bootloader, thus you will have arb 4.
Fw less roms come without the firmware. since there is no firmware, no way to trigger ARB.
Fw-non-arb are firmware files without the bootloader part, again no bootloader so arb will not be triggered.

Since 8.12.27 is the newest rom available you can install only FW as this would not trigger ARB (Both 9.6.4.0 and 8.12.27 are ARB4)

Trying to flash back to stock rom. How to find out what rom i need

I want to flash back to stock rom on my note 8
How do i know if i have a global or china or india phone. where does it have all this information.
I already erased the stock rom and it has lineageOS
I went here to input my imei and it says
Thank you for choosing Xiaomi!
However, the device you purchased is not an official global version and user experience may be affected. Next time, please purchase the official global version of the device through officially authorized channels.
Redmi Note 8 全网通版 6GB内存 皓月白 128GB
does this mean my phone is a chinese version? and i should be downloading the chinese stock rom?
My phone turned out to be a chinese version. I looked on my bill and it said chinese version.
That's probably why I could not get a global rom to work.
I download the chinese rom and it worked.

Question From EU OOS12 to Global OOS12

I am on c48 EU rom how to flash the global Rom
My device is LE2123 non rooted
Just download the stable full update via Oxygen Updater and install it. Works fine. Keep in mind to avoid updating to India version from eu/global. It is not stable.
I, and several others, who have EU (LE2123) versions had updated to the India version C60, however, we are not able to update (OTA) to C61.
Previously, on OnePlus phones when flashing other firmwares from other regions you would still be able to continue getting updates for that region. But with these latest OOS12 firmwares that might not be the case. So keep this in mind before changing regions.
Mine eu on c60 in worked like crap. Camera issues, overheating, bloatware installed... That was not a good move. Had to revert back to Oxygen 11 and move updates to global.
Try this : downgrade to region specific Android 11 ( IN/NA/EU ) and after that you will recieve ota. I personally downgraded to 11 ( GLOBAL ) ( i hasve eu version ) and i recieved c61 OTA.
Yep, did the same. C6Q global runns pretty good (not as good as Oxygen 11, I hate new UI, but it's quite good).
If I downgrade, I lose my data and my banking apps are running. Can't I download the full zip from global and import it via local update when its work lose my data ?

Thanks for the feedback. Few questions if you don't mind:
You have EU model (LE2123) and have successfully update C61 global firmware (LE2125)?
Did you flash the C61 global OTA update manually? I mean by downloading the OTA zip and flash it using local update? Or did it update by checking new updates using the normal way?
I understand that you switched to global using the OOS11 downgrade zip, so you had global firmware since OOS11 then upgraded to OOS12 (still global), does the about device Model show as LE2123 or LE2125?
1. Yes
2. No, did it via incremental update using system update app. First I downgraded using msm tool to global Oxygen 11, then followed all updates as far as cyq using system update app. Then I performed full wipe just to be sure all updates went well.
3. It still shows as 2123. No issues anyway (except red cable program from OnePlus - when I try to connect my device it shows wrong area, but I don't care ).

Updated using System update app, you mean the stock/standard update method (Settings>About device)?
Yes.

Question How to update to 12.5.9 ?

Hello,
My lisa came with 12.5.5 out of the box. OTA offers direct to 13.0.2. Is there anyway I can upgrade to 12.5.9 ? I don't want to upgrade to A12 atm, or anytime soon really.
Indian firware if that matters.
I see xiaomi.eu has a version of 12.5.9 which is no longer updated, but lisa isn't listed on the compatible device list.
Thanks

First of all, some basics (not sure are you aware of):
1) If your phone came with Indian, you can update but only to Indian firmware without unlocking your Bootloader:
Install MIUI Recovery ROM using Stock Recovery and Updater App
Has your Xiaomi phone received a new MIUI update? Then follow this guide to easily install MIUI Recovery ROM using stock recovery and Updater app on Xiaomi devices. Any smartphone user prefers getting…
www.thecustomdroid.com
In that case you will need to download the so-called Recovery or ZIP stock firmware and use the installation as above
2) For anything else, like switching from Indian to Global or EEA (or to Russian or Chinese) - they are all stock ROMs, or switching to Xiaomi.eu - that is not stock ROM, or any other custom (ie, not stock) ROM, you would first have to unlock Bootloader
AFAIK, Xiaomi.eu has no 12.5 for Lisa, only 13.0 - hence not applicable if you insist on 12.5
To switch from Indian to Global or EEA (still stock ROMs), you will need the unlocked Bootloader, the so-called Fastboot or TGZ firmware (and MiFlash tool):
How to Flash Fastboot ROMs on Xiaomi? - xiaomiui
If you are a Xiaomi user and have installed custom ROMs on your device, then you might be wondering how to flash fastboot ROMs on Xiaomi devices. This article

I don't know where do you see 12.5.9 for Lisa - I had 12.5.8 EEA) , but there should be not much difference
Anyway, install the following app and you can check which versions are available for Lisa (for stock Global, EEA, Indian, etc) or custom Xiaomi.eu:
MIUI Downloader - Apps on Google Play
MIUI upgrade app for Mi users.
play.google.com
It shows the Latest but click on Older and you will see all the previously released (stable) versions.
Btw, under Indian, I don't find 12.5.9, neither under Global or EEA (under Global there are eg 12.5.11 and 12.5.14)
From the app, you can also choose and download Recovery (zip) or Fastboot (tgz) stock ROM for the wanted version - depending on your flashing method as above
thank you very much. I did request to unlock the bootloader in the mi unlock app, but all the custom A11 roms stopped development or moved onto A12, so I didn't see much point in unlocking bootloader.
as i understand, if i am on the indian firmware, i can flash the indian rom without BL unlock. but if BL is unlocked, do i need to switch firmware as well to install say the Global ROM ?
about 12.5.9, i mistook it as the last version before they moved to 13. sorry about that.

When you unlock Bootloader it does not prevent you to update India ROM by stock Recovery method
It just gives you the additional option to switch eg to Global by flashing Fastboot/tgz ROM
Its like, you can always go by foot, but if you have a car, you have the additional option to go by car
Please take your time, Google, read to acquire further knowledge and know-how.
There are tons of guides here on XDA, on the Net, Google videos, etc
