Is there a way to use the razr retro as a default dialer for the phone i would like to use it as the phone app?
As far as I'm aware not possible, I'd love for retro razr to be a full fledged launcher.
I like this phone and being able to use the retro dialer as the default dialer would be nice

Is it possible to change the apps in the Dock/Row at the bottom?
I use Handcent SMS and I would prefer to have that in the dock area instead of the "messanging" icon. Any ideas? I don't want to use another launcher. I prefer Touchwiz...
Honestly, I thinks that's what's gonna be samsungs next uppdate. They a few minor things o7ut but it was all for making it look as amazinguyen as it does now. I am using ADW with the Gala S theme with flikie hd since this can handle the amazment. Hope this helps... besides the other launcher and such.

I plan to replace the TouchWiz Launcher with LauncherPro on day one. This allows for a much much more customizable dock and ditches the goofy iphone type of side scrolling for apps.
I'd love to see the ability to change the drop down quick buttons, I don't use blue tooth or 4G so I'd love to be able to change that...
Unfortunately there is no way to change the shortcuts on the TouchWiz launcher. I just use LauncherPro, it's 100x better than TW and you're not missing out on the widgets since TW's widgets are terrible. ADW is good too.
One suggestion - search the market for Home Switcher, it makes switching between launcher apps much easier.
Also yeah I'd like to be able to replace the Bluetooth toggle with a 3G one.

Launcher Pro runs great on my Samsung Epic. If you put any Home Replacement on, make sure you clear the memory and force close the Touch Wiz app. Launcher Pro runs much smoother than the TW Home.

Just wondering what stock app have you replaced in ICS? ie sms, launcher, dialer, browser... and why?
I'm trying to stay pure ICS and so far I'm digging what came with ICS but just curious what everyone has replaced on their phone. Not even gonna root.."YET"

None, ICS's stock apps are great.
Only thing I have replaced if the music app, I find it a bit ugly, especially the widget. So I'm using Ubermusic

For me, I only replaced the stock keyboard with Swiftkey X....though I wish Swiftkey X can use the Voice to txt like stock.

Why? The dialer stinks, does't have t9 name lookup.
Even entering a number does't suggest numbers matching the pattern.
exdialer fixes all this, and with the ICS theme maintains the UX
I use ADW EX Launcher, because I'm so used to it and I want my appdrawer to scroll vertically. Another benefit is that ADW can backup and restore its settings and that comes in handy, if you have to factory reset the GN.
Not (yet) rooted by the way.
The stock music app does not find my music, so I installed PowerAMP and that works just fine.

+1 my friend. I'm so used with the sense dialer and really missed t9 lookup. Now it's better.
I also replaced stock launcher with Nova Launcher. It's almost identical with the original, but has much more functionality.

I am running 4.1.c.0.7 ( rooted) and DoomLord kernel v4. The thing I don't like is that on ICS lockscreen they added the camera shortcut instead of ring/vibrate shortcut.
Is there a way to change only the lockscreen ? I would be happy with the old one (GB stock) even if it does not have music player controls.

You can try Go locker. I used it for awhile. Its free and it has alot of different lockscreens
you can use go locker (free) or Widget Locker (I don"t remember the price but he is not free)
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Go Locker but it does not fell right , it's not integrated with the launcher ( design wise) and looks like it's more suitable for Samsung.
Widget Locker is about 2.2 Euros , maybe I will try it , but all I really want is the ring/vibrate slide button instead of camera ...

i think its imposible. But you can install widget locker. With this program you can add a widget to your lockscree

Go Locker has music controls and a lockscreen you can customize. Its on the Play Store for the amazing price of FREE
You need to install Go Launcher to use it though (which I highly recommend)

I kind of prefer to stock launcher, is there no other way to do it other than getting something like widgerlocker or go launcher?

I tried widgetlocker. But it won't work for me. It doesn't replace my lockscreen it just adds to it. While I can get music controls, it makes it a pain in the ass to use. Once I slide the widget locker slider, my default unlock slider comes up, THEN my unlock pattern. So it's a real pain.

I tried Go Launcher, works great, but it's having the OPPOSITE problem of WidgetLocker, where it doesn't goto my unlock pattern screen at all, it just goes straight to my homescreen. I checked and my unlock pattern is still set to be used, Go Launcher just bypasses it.

Hi anyone who can make a iOS launcher? I don't hate iPhones, neither love them but i like the simplistic launcher.
