"Advanced Mode" Prompt Discovered in System Update - TCL 10 Pro Questions & Answers

So, I'm wondering what this is... I stumbled across it tonight while just randomly pressing buttons and such in settings while bored.
How I got to this
1.) Open Settings app
2.) Go to System
3.) Tap System Update
4.) Top right, hit the 3 dot menu and select help
5.) Tap on "Checking for Update" a few times until a prompt comes up asking for a password
This password is NOT your lock screen password. This is something TCL set I believe, and I don't know how to find it. Google yielded nothing on this, any ideas?

No idea, don't remember, but it shouldn't harm anything being enabled

[App][Total Commander]

For all of us who are using it on PC (and missing it on android )
It's still on beta and not yet available on Google Play but, as far as i'm used it, it's fully operational and functional. Good thing is that it never ever asked for superuser privileges but it can do whatever you want with system files so...
you can download it at http://www.ghisler.com/android.htm and bellow are some screenshots that show/prove it's functionality

P.S. It does looks a bit confusing at first sight (like it's predecessor on PC at first look long, long time ago...) but after few finger hits over the screen it gets very logical and practical so give it a shot
How about remount /system to RW?

Full.
First, while you are in system folder, hit last green button in main menu:
then hit the R button:
and there you go:
As i understood on the TC forums there is will of author to make that R button permanent part of main menu but with this way it stays open down there untill you choose to disable it so it's fine like this too
Final 1.01 version out, now also available on playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ghisler.android.TotalCommander
and ,best of all, it's free
Thanks man for a wonder app.

Anyway to find out which app causes this?

i am getting these notifications occasionally. however i don't know whichever language is that and can't understand it. is there anyway to findout which app causes this?? i m gonna uninstall it

It's arabic language. It's saying
"Protect your Android device
Get the best protection for your phone now"
anyway, press and hold the notification, you'll get "App Info"
Go there, you can find out the application name, and disable all notification from it if you want (rather than uninstalling it).
thank you very much

SecureOTP on Zenfone 2

As the title implies, I cannot get the app SecureOTP to run on the phone properly. It gives some message, but it's in Japanese. Unfortunately I need the app in order to play Phantasy Star Online 2. Someone in a review stated they got it working via a setting, but I am unaware of what it is. Anyone got the tech skills to try and wrangle the bug?
Bumping for still an issue. Screenshot added for hopeful help.

I registered because I faced the same problem. It's pretty easy, just go to settings -> ASUS customized settings -> Recent apps key. Now choose the value for Recent apps key as "Tap and hold to show menu". As the name implies it let's you open up a menu when holding down the right capacitive button on the zenfone 2. After this you can revert back to the old settings for this button since SecureOTP does not need you to fiddle around with its menu anymore.
Truth to be told I did not come up with this and had struggled for days and the only clue I got was your post and the review on playstore which you mentioned. I figured zenfone 2 must have its own way to open up menus so I dug around the settings. But yes, SecureOTP has finnicky problems with its menu button which vary between phones and it even happens on emulators like bluestack.
Anyway, enjoy your PSO2 and have fun.

I cannot do anything without visiting service center because i my account is not authorized for flashing operation
Question:
Is there really no option? Maybe a new method popup recently?
I will be grateful for your response.
