LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS
- Download the LineageOS zip(s). (see Downloads)
- Download the TWRP Image. (see Downloads)
- Copy the LineageOS zip to internal sdcard.
- Unlock bootloader and install TWRP from downloads.
- Boot into TWRP.
- Perform a backup of your current ROM. (Optional)
- IMPORTANT: Do a Factory Reset. (Wipe data & cache)
- Flash LineageOS.
- Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package. (see Downloads)
- Reboot

My Friend, I've been flashing Roms on various devices for more than three years.......
So I have done a factory reset, as I'm using another lineage OS version on my E3.
I followed all instructions.
So the TWRP version I'm using must be the issue, its the Dr framazone version 3.0.0.2, I can't flash the new twrp image in the twrp I'm using.
I'll have to try in fast boot mode through the PC.

Yes, I know and understand that.
As I said in my previous comment, I cannot flash the newer twrp image through the version of twrp I'm using.
I've have now managed to flash the twrp image via fast boot and have this ROM up and running.
Unfortunately I've ran into many problems not seen in the other lineage OS ROM that I've been using for the last week.
1. Guest user was activated after initial set up, meaning I could not change any settings.
2. I cannot access my external SD card.
So important files to me are inaccessible?
3. No photographs taken using the camera are being saved, they just disappear from the gallery into thin air.
4. My service provider doesn't list in networks or the signal indicator (O2 UK) instead my device shows "23410"
Its at this point I confess to running this rom on my XT1700 and NOT a XT1706 (My device is in fact a European spec standard Motorola E3, but running E3 power firmware and renamed in system to a E3 power XT1706 - this was flashed by Motorola themselves during a repair as they claimed I had to pay for XT1700 firmwares, so E3 Power firmware was flashed by them.
Although I appreciate Ashwins efforts and i appreciate this is a testing version, I cannot use this ROM as I'm now also in trouble with my employer for not having photographic evidence of my work today (My E3 is used as my work device, and taking photos of my finished work is a requirement of my employment)
I have to now move to another ROM for this reason until these issues can be fixed and photos taken with the camera will be saved and stay saved.
Sorry.

Bro do this....
U have to go to fastboot mode....
Then enter fastboot format userdata....
Then fastboot flash recovery.img
Then dont go to recovery let ur phone start....
Then enable usb debug & oem unlock in phone after rebooting...
Again switch of ur phone...
Now goto fastboot mode....
Type fastboot flash recovery .img
Now go to recovery and flash the rom file
It ll work 100%

Thanks, but I had solved the problem. The thing is my phone wasn't booting at all after flashing TWRP. Tried many version. It was some issue with the phone's boot.img (some Lenovo phone has a similar issue, K4 power I think). I flashed a stock ROM and after flashing TWRP, I flashed SuperSU, since it patches boot.img. That worked, after which I wiped /system, /data, /cache and flashed Lineage.

I didn't face any of the above issues on my Moto E3 Power. Camera is working fine and photos are also saving.
SD card is also accessible.

Is this the actual screenshot? Because the developer has mentioned that LTE is not working but the screenshot shows LTE in the notification bar.

Thank you for your feedback, although I can't share your optimism or your confidence.
I've now reflashed this rom three times.
I cannot access external storage.
Photos disappear from the gallery, and now all my Google apps keep force closing - I'm using the recommendation of Google apps, open gapps nano arm.
Remember just because it's all good for you doesn't necessarily mean it's good for others, as I've seen so many times in these forums.

Hey guys, finally you can get root access on your vivo y51l. However this method is only tested on CyanogenMod 12.1, and will be tested on other roms too within few days.

我用twrp3.2.1刷入这个zip后重启还是twrp，解出img来用trwp app刷进recovery分区也一样。系统用的是马大官改，没有刷你的pt。
I flashed this zip file via twrp 3.2.1 , but reboot to recovery still gets twrp 3.2.1 working on it. the same thing happened using twrp app to flash unpacked img file. I haven't flashed your project treble yet.

检查你的刷入分区，如果还是不行，获取root后用工具箱类的app试试。
Check the partition you flashing in, if still error, try to flash via some app tool after getting root permission.

I finally made it work by flashing via computer through fastboot. but now I'm facing another problem, it shows my data patition is encrypted, but I don't know the password. I'm using gesture lockscreen and fingerprint in Android. my device has been rooted via magisk.

If you forget your password, you need to format userdata partition.

I'm install through newest twrp as img and working great. Awesome job on original twrp some kernels won't let me get into twrp. On Orangefox is OK.

I know my passwords, but not that secret key I even have no idea about when my phone encrypted /data by itself...

I didn't support dm-verify in OrangeFox, so you could only format it.

On the Pie-V3.3.1-V1 variant of OrangeFox I'm noticing some strange issues.
Some scripts cannot properly mount or unmount /system, with all kinds of excuses such as "device or resource busy", or just outright "no such file or directory"... It can also happen after a nandroid backup. While mostly harmless, sometimes it can cause addon.d to break (such as OpenGApps and Magisk) and I need to manually flash back things that addon.d should have guaranteed their survival at that time.
For now it can be worked around by flashing only one zip at a time and reboot to recovery to flash my next one.
By the way, it seems backing up/restoring the entire system image is safer than only the contents of the system partition, as back then with stock ROM (eXistenZ) I noticed that if I back up only the contents of system partition with TWRP then restoring it later, the system would bootloop at Sony logo, whereas restoring a backup of entire system image would boot fine.

What is MIUI OTA? I did see it mentioned something about XiaoMi or MIUI but I remember it said "DISABLED".
After all, I'm not flashing anything XiaoMi or MIUI related (I'm flashing just LOS, OpenGApps, Magisk and modules).

It's in settings and "MIUI OTA" is enabled by default.
I confirmed this issue, but I had no idea to solve it now. And the core function of OrangeFox is fine. You can compare my device tree with OrangeFox official devices'. We may lack of some blob or have some wrong settings

I can confirm the MIUI OTA was enabled. However, disabling it has no effect regarding the failures in handling the /system partition. Also, it seems the recovery can determine whether the package is a MIUI OTA, as I recall it says MIUI OTA support DISABLED when flashing ROM zips such as LOS.
When mount/unmount operations on /system fails, the error usually reads "device or resource busy". Guess something is locking the system partition for too long.
While the issue doesn't impact much when flashing zips, it can potentially prevent addon.d scripts from succeeding causing loss of certain OTA survival capable components such as OpenGApps and Magisk.
EDIT: Also, when the "device or resource busy" error occurs, I also can't mount/unmount system partition from the Mount screen.
EDIT 2: It seems the Orangefox tree uses a prebuilt kernel... is that kernel image also overclocked? It appears the phone would overheat while in recovery, and the overheated state would carry over and cause freezes/reboots due to the SoC hit certain power/thermal thresholds, as the logcat is simply cut off without anything implying kernel panics or fatal errors.

ive used your device tree to build with three different kernels and it compiles every time. i can flash it and it boots ok, but touchscreen doesnt work so i cant get into recovery.

Installation
Download version .tar when you haven't a TWRP installed and you are coming from stock ROM and flash it via Odin in download mode. NOTE: Un-check Auto-reboot option in Odin, install tar file (it has to be placed in AP section) and after reboot manually in recovery mode with vol+, home and power buttons. This because otherwise you'll come back to stock recovery.
Download version .img when you have a TWRP installed. Simply, from home, go in install -> install image -> select your .img file -> press recovery as partition where you want to install it -> swipe to flash -> reboot system.
Download version .zip if you have an old TWRP. (you can install a .img or .zip file, as you want)
Bugs/Issues
Encryption with password isn't supported, so don't set the secure boot or put a password at the boot of the device

- Persist and firmware (modem) partitions aren't backupable anymore. Firmware partition backup/restore/wipe with vfat partition makes network issues, and with emmc backups are useless since can't be restored successfully, and this "filesystem" isn't wipeable. Persist partition doesn't need any backups/wipes/restores, and if someone has some particular issues, it's always better to go to latest stock firmware, better with pit file too. I don't want to support anymore something that is half working.

Reboot to Fastboot
Download the OEM Image from HERE, Extract and Flash it. (V5B)
fastboot flash oem SW_binaries_for_Xperia_Android_11_4.14_v5b_yoshino.img
Flash the userdata,boot and system image (Will wipe all the userdata).
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
Install Magisk/Gapps(Optional).
Reboot

Alright, Links for Single sim variant are up.
Steps to install GAPPS :
Install the attached recovery via fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Boot into recovery mode by pressing and holding power button and volume down button at the same time.
Sideload the gapps or install it from SD card as it cannot decrypt the internal storage yet.
I am using Litegapps (https://sourceforge.net/projects/litegapps/files/litegapps/arm64/33/lite/v2.6/) (Recovery version).
Flash the Gapps and the attached fix for gapps(REQUIRED).
Reboot

Litegapps are the only one I found currently.
a13 is very in very early stage and other gapps will adapt to it soon.

After the install, no recovery comes from the device.
Factory reset not possible
I can't restore my APPs, SMS, ..... everything.
Can you remove the search bar on the homescreen?
The display on/off in seconds cycle is also there.
