Root OneUI 3.0 - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

Is there a guide for rooting oneui 3.0, i´m asking this question because oneui 2.x has android 10

Did you found solution to root android 11?
I know for android 10 but not for 11.
I manage to root tricking the lz4 files which is the new type of extension in Android and for this you can not root in a normal way. I followed this guide
Fix Oreo Firmware Installation Issue in Odin for Samsung Devices - DroidViews
Android Oreo has finally made its way to Samsung's latest S series flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The Oreo update brings with it the usual Android Oreo features such as Picture-in-Picture, redesigned Settings app, etc. It also brings with it Samsung Experience 9.0 which is but a fancier name…

After having the 4 stock files modified without lz4 you must flash them with Odin.
After you take the modified AP file and patch it with Magisk.
Then you flash again stock using the patched AP file and the rest of modified files but you must not select autoreboot in Odin. When the flashing is done you must exit download mode and imediatelly enter in Recovery mod but better use this guide

Installing or Building a ROM for a specific Samsung Binary

I would like to install an Oreo or Nougat ROM on my S8 Pie with Samsung boot-loader binary 5.
Most ROMs available are only for bootloader binary 1 through 4. I naively loaded a Pie ROM built by some jackass who didn't post a warning about binary versions. This upgraded my binary from 4 to 5 and put me in a corner since I know can only install 2 ROMs. I can install the Official Samsung bloatware, or I can install a useless Combination ROM which are both binary 5.
The combination ROM runs Nougat so I know there must be a way to get Android 7 or 8 on my phone.
Does anyone know how I can downgrade my Android?

SM-A505GT, latest update (Android 11). Where can I find a safe root guide?

I can't find any guide for this model (SM-A505GT)
Any help is much appreciated
Also i could not find a full guide for a505f. They all pass some steps. I guess unlocking the boatloader is the first step. But all guides starting with "make sure the oem is greyed out" how to do that. If there were understandable guides stey by step, many people would root. We need guides like explaning a child. 1,2,3.... with all steps. And i see that many people having issues with custom roms. Is it possible to root stock rom ? Android 11 ui 3.1. I just wanna have root access.

[MOD] ONEUI 4 Bootloader warning remover for S20FE EXYNOS - TWRP and ODIN

For the people who have unlocked bootloader and have installed the newest ONEUI 4 for the Galaxy S20 FE Exynos, here are 2 versions of the mod to get rid of the Bootloader warnings.
ODIN VERSION - Put the phone in download mode and flash the file in AP tab via odin.
TWRP VERSION - Just flash via TWRP.
ODIN version by me and thanks to @madadictromtester to make the TWRP version.

Trying to downgrade to Android 8 or preferably 7 with Odin

I have long tried to downgrade my phone SM-G955F to Android 8 or 7.
I have tried many different firmwares but they all seem to fail on installing the new bootloader. I can always recover back to Android 9 using a collection of files called AP_G955FXXUCDUD1_CL21427293_QB39365969_REV00_user_low_ship_meta_OS9.tar.md5
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a ROM running android 8 or 7 that I can root.
Essentially I do not care if it is stock rom as long as I can root the device. I have successfully rooted my devices running android 9 using magisk but the essence is that I need to run android 8 or 7 and being able to use google chrome as a browser.
Any help is much appreciated
Best regards,
Erik
I thought I might have answered my own question. So in order to help other in the same situation I will post my findings.
Looking at related posts on XDA Dev Forum I found the following article, that seem to fit my needs.

So I downloaded the zip file and unpacked it in hopes of finding files compatible with Odin. But they were not. So what I did was install my android 9 OS that I found that was working and then rooted it using TWRP and Magisk, which is quite simple.
Then I found this article:

and tried following the steps mentioned.
But unfortunately it did not work. I will try and investigate further or try again without first wiping all the stuff that was mentioned in the guide

Hi,
1) Download the .zip file of the light ROM : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/s8-s8-nougat-01-jan-2020-v30-lightrom.3636154/
Then magisk.zip, search it on the internet.
2) Flash the ROM via a custom recovery
3) Then flash magisk.zip
4) Reboot
It will work for sure with Nougat or Oreo, with any Binary number.
You can downgrade with a custom ROM, not stock.
Lastly don't use Odin but a custom recovery !

Thank you so much!
I will try that. I had found an older phone lying around running stock Oreo, that I rooted.

T830 latest stock root - supported?

Looking to update XAR (USA) Tab S4 - Not finding much recent root info regarding firmware builds released in say the last year.
Is Stock rom with root working on latest Android 10 Rev 5? I believe T830XXU5CVG2 is the latest for USA T830.

I currently have Android 8.1 (M1AJQ.T830XXU2ARJ3) + Magisk 25.2 + TWRP 3.6.2_90
Are the older guides with encryption disabler relevant still? If a previous guides discussing ~2020 Android 10 builds is that same encryption disabler compatible?
I'd like to avoid odin full stock flash all together. Can I patch stock rom AP with Magisk and just flash the patched AP with TWRP? (And wipe internal storage)
Any pointers be helpful. I've found few older guides but wanting to flash latest stock rom which is why I'm a bit hesitant.
Also came across this post that mentions issues with latest Rev 5 and Magisk ? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...tab-s4-sm-t835-android-10-one-ui-2-1.4441257/
Thanks.
Will this work to update to latest Android 10 Rev 5 -T830XXU5CVG2 ?
Currently Android 8.1 + magisk 25.2 + TWRP 3.6.2
1) Stock rom extract - patch boot.img with Magisk app
2) Backup TWRP 3.6 recovery.img
3) Re-tar patched boot.img + recovery.img to AP MD5. Re-tar entire stock ROM.
4) Flash patched stock ROM with TWRP.
5) Wipe internal data and reboot
