[MOD] ONEUI 4 Bootloader warning remover for S20FE EXYNOS - TWRP and ODIN - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Guides, News, & Discussion

For the people who have unlocked bootloader and have installed the newest ONEUI 4 for the Galaxy S20 FE Exynos, here are 2 versions of the mod to get rid of the Bootloader warnings.
ODIN VERSION - Put the phone in download mode and flash the file in AP tab via odin.
TWRP VERSION - Just flash via TWRP.
ODIN version by me and thanks to @madadictromtester to make the TWRP version.

no-one has uncovered how the warning screens work yet on the snapdragon versions.

Confirmed still working on OneUI 4.1

Could you please make or create the mod works with the 5G SnapDragon version!?

Still working for me. Saved my night

if someone get me a Android 10 system dump and update zip of the s10e and s10 i can make the rooted images too (for make a system dump install P bootloader and twrp and make a system backup as image and upload it then i can make the images for the other 2 phones too. Note that after P bootloader you cant boot anymore and you need to restore back to stock and update again to Q)

Thanks. One question we simply can extract tar and flash in recovery both boot and recovery? And we need not to wipe data?
why not support S10 5G(G977n)

i fix it later and reupload a v2 for s10e and s10
wow very impressive, i didn't except someone to root the q beta so fast.
as far as i remember you have to patch AP partition with magisk manager on pie and then press power button + bixby + vol up to boot in root mode, but here you can't really patch the update.zip file.
Do you mind telling how you managed to do that ?
Can we update a rooted galaxy s10?
so new builds are up and should fix the cutout problem on s10 and s10e. thx to @corsicanu for providing me some files from s10 and s10

you need to relock bootloader before you flash update.zip or you get a bootloop

Did you manage to make it work? Maybe try the non legacy module? Viper4Android is basically the #1 reason I am still rooting my phones, so it will be nice to know it will work. Thanks in advance.
hey I'm about to try this qgain with s10e. I patched with update the with newly flashed asii but was unable to boot and used a patch for recovery image only.
I'm coming from root and would like to keep data as well but willing to sacrifice data. my question is if the bootloader lock is really a required step? also since I've been through this and failed once, should I fash csc instead of home csc when reflashing dbt asii firmware? Just unsure of these two things.
P.S. when to unlock bootloader again in this process?
thanks for any input

[RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP for Galaxy S10+ G975N Korean variant ONLY

For G975N there are 3 Android Q firmware versions released by samsung as BSKO, BSL7, and BTA4 from old to newest.
Only kernel source of BSKO is released currently (2020-03-01) which you can find here: https://opensource.samsung.com/uploadSearch?searchValue=g975n
This recovery image is built based on kernel BSKO (G975NKSU3BSKO) and it works with BTA4 firmware so it should work with all these 3 firmware versions.
Note: This image is not Magisk patched yet, if you need magisk to be installed in recovery partition you'd have to patch this image yourself first.

The G97xF version works on G97xN too no need for this thread.
The ones meant for F/FD Variants work on N devices. The only differences are some radio bands and CSC. plus the N Variant being sold as a single sim only just like the F.
Thanks though
long time ago I tried the twrp but not working for my g975n, so I thought it's still not supported.
could you delete this post @admin? thanks.
Thanks for this amazing work !

Via custom roms based on ONEUI with patched system and kernel. yes.
Via ODIN, you'd have to do some patching else it won't boot.
Can't exactly remember, but I had an N variant before.

Root OneUI 3.0

Is there a guide for rooting oneui 3.0, i´m asking this question because oneui 2.x has android 10
Did you found solution to root android 11?
I know for android 10 but not for 11.
I manage to root tricking the lz4 files which is the new type of extension in Android and for this you can not root in a normal way. I followed this guide
Fix Oreo Firmware Installation Issue in Odin for Samsung Devices - DroidViews
Android Oreo has finally made its way to Samsung's latest S series flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The Oreo update brings with it the usual Android Oreo features such as Picture-in-Picture, redesigned Settings app, etc. It also brings with it Samsung Experience 9.0 which is but a fancier name…
www.droidviews.com
After having the 4 stock files modified without lz4 you must flash them with Odin.
After you take the modified AP file and patch it with Magisk.
Then you flash again stock using the patched AP file and the rest of modified files but you must not select autoreboot in Odin. When the flashing is done you must exit download mode and imediatelly enter in Recovery mod but better use this guide

T830 latest stock root - supported?

Looking to update XAR (USA) Tab S4 - Not finding much recent root info regarding firmware builds released in say the last year.
Is Stock rom with root working on latest Android 10 Rev 5? I believe T830XXU5CVG2 is the latest for USA T830.
Download Galaxy Tab S4 SM-T830 (XAR) T830XXU5CVG2 in Samfw - Samsung firmware download

I currently have Android 8.1 (M1AJQ.T830XXU2ARJ3) + Magisk 25.2 + TWRP 3.6.2_90
Are the older guides with encryption disabler relevant still? If a previous guides discussing ~2020 Android 10 builds is that same encryption disabler compatible?
I'd like to avoid odin full stock flash all together. Can I patch stock rom AP with Magisk and just flash the patched AP with TWRP? (And wipe internal storage)
Any pointers be helpful. I've found few older guides but wanting to flash latest stock rom which is why I'm a bit hesitant.
Also came across this post that mentions issues with latest Rev 5 and Magisk ? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...tab-s4-sm-t835-android-10-one-ui-2-1.4441257/
Thanks.
Will this work to update to latest Android 10 Rev 5 -T830XXU5CVG2 ?
Currently Android 8.1 + magisk 25.2 + TWRP 3.6.2
1) Stock rom extract - patch boot.img with Magisk app
2) Backup TWRP 3.6 recovery.img
3) Re-tar patched boot.img + recovery.img to AP MD5. Re-tar entire stock ROM.
4) Flash patched stock ROM with TWRP.
5) Wipe internal data and reboot

can't flash with odin even though bootloader being unlocked

i've got an a50 that i want to install TWRP on so i won't have to use the abomination that download mode is. i've unlocked bootloader, yet when i try to flash the TWRP .tar in odin it fails and the phone gives the following error code: "Only officially released binaries are allowed to be flashed(RECOVERY)"
although this is the first time i try flashing stuff on a samsung so you can consider me a newbie, i've got experience with fastboot on others so it must be something i glanced over.
cuz see, when i unlock the bootloader of other phones they let me flash onto them, unlike this one. if you could redirect me to a post with a solution or something that would be very much appreciated!
If you are on the latest official build, then The latest official build (last official Update from samsung) won't allow the twrp to be installed.
Use previous build to install twrp.

I was able to fix this "phenomenon" with other Firmware...

can you point me to a site for downloading the october build? furthermore, my plans are to do whatever it takes to get twrp onto it and just flash the unofficial a50 port of lineageos (+official gapps) and debloat with the permission of the owner of the phone. any problems to look at for in the future (seeing that you're a senior here)?

You can proceed.
The problems you may get with FOD, VoLTE. Some operators like Jio completely depend on volte . Without volte we can not make calls and receive messages. Only internet Anwould work.
No aosp rom able to make work volte. For now, volte works only on oneui roms for a50.
