US Snapdragon variants can now be rooted however you'll be hard pressed to to find a device other than T-mobile's which can deliver their 5G. Likely your best option is aquire the T-mobile Branded device and pay the $100 USD fee to secure root access. This post outlines how to achieve root on US S20's.

Variant of Z2 force can be BL unlocked and use international?

Variation of Moto Z2 Force for US Telco or countries
(Verizon) XT1789-01
(US Cellular) XT1789-02
(Sprint) XT1789-03
(AT&T/T-Mobile) XT1789-04
(Outside US) XT1789-05
(For Brazil) XT1789-07
Maybe this thread can be helpful for some...
Which are the models which the bootloader can be unlocked and use globally (outside of US)?
Please add EU unbranded XT1789-06
(I think this is the "real" Outside US, while XT1789-05 should be Chinese version, as it was on Griffin...)

Generally by Default Verizon Devices are Global, and in this case fot the XT-1789-01 You can place another carriers sim in the device and it will just work (as long as the bands are supported)
Historically, US Cellular phones have been able to run on Verizon LTE bands and have had their bootloader be unlock able. Can anyone confirm?

Verizon and AT&T models are blocked on Motorola/Lenovo's unlock site by the unique identifier. Some parts of it that get decoded from the key your phone spits out has info for Moto to know which exact device is requesting the unlock code.

If you owned an exclusivity device, aka the Droid series, of course you couldn't unlock the bootloader from Motorola site itself. you had to use s-off. I do not know if they updated their builld to support 2017 phones

Does anyone know if someone is working on a bootloader unlock/root for other models?

I know the EM can be rooted, but is someone working on a bootloader unlock for the other G7 models?
I got in touch with TMobile to see if their version would be bootloader unlockable. They gave me the run around, told me to contact LG who hasn't responded. One thing I did manage to get out of TMobile was a firm denial that they requested the device remain locked its likely apathy on the part of LG holding us back at this point. ?I haven't dug into mine yet because I have more interesting unlocked devices to work on
Giving that the only European models can be unlocked most likely not but maybe a bug in the future.
Have saw a AWM model which flash to EM model and get its bootloader unlocked on a second hand trading website in China. The seller said he flash the EM firmware and change the IMEI in order to unlock his phone "officially"
I'm eagerly waiting for the US unlocked G710ULM. If this variant is unlocked, why didn't LG unlocked bootloader?, it's been almost 4 months of no news from LG. .Why giving special status to unlocked European models , since LG V30? If that's the case then LG G6 US997 could be the last US model enjoying root?

Buying N975U (US Cellular) and using in the UK

Hello, I want to get the snapdragon Note 10+, so a friend can get me the US Cellular N975U but I will be using it in the UK. So, if anyone can help to answer my doubts:
1) How do I check if the device is region locked?
2) Will I be able to receive the SW updates with my UK sim here? or am I going to be restricted to flash manually via odin etc?
Thanks in advance

Give this a look & then contact US Cellular with the device IMEI, they'll likely need it to check for unlock status.

As for getting updates with a non-US Cellular SIM Card, I'd definitely ask about that as well.
Hopefully, someone here @ XDA will chime-in with their experience.

SM-N976V to Unlocked Firmware.

Hello!
I recently purchased an Note 10+ model SM-N976V, from Verizon. It's possible to flash an unlocked firmware to remove all the bloatware that came from the carrier?
For example to flash the SM-N976U or U1?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi @fregong
If that is your reason to do so, you don't need.
Package Disabler Pro
Good disabling.
Nice regards.

Thanks for the response, In fact I already disabled all the bloatware, but it keeps with the firmware from Verizon, so I want to remove it and let the device with an unlocked software, no logos and other restrictions by VZW.

So ... your intention is not what you initially stated.
The below link shows all the firmware available for your SM-N976V with and without carrier. There is not any release for Nicaraguans so you shall select the one that fits you better. Just select between the ones without parenthesis (no carriers).
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-10-plus/firmware/#SM-N976V
Good luck and nice regards.

Checking the link that you provide me, I can flash the N976B on my N976V model?
No mate, the sm-n976V is locked, unlike the tmo and att note 10+ 5g this phone is only ever able to stay on the V firmware. Look into changing the CSC. Will do what your asking.

Look into changing your CSC, I am searching desperatly to find a way to root this device. First it doesnt support 5G nationwide (I have a screenshot of the verizon rep saying it supported both MM 5g and nationwide) second its slower than my s8+ with a safestrap rom clearing the bloadware. This is a phone with 12gb of ram and its out preformed in both speed (network and device) by a Galaxy s8+ with some custom firmware. Honestly I am to the point where F____K knox ill root if i get the chance.
Any updates? Has anyone found a way to get unbranded debloated firmware on n976v
That would be through SamFwTool. Bootlogo remains and many retarded settings and bloat remain on all leves put there by the makers of the device and chips, without our consent. This bloat is used to spy on the user and report back telemetry and marketable data back to someone who is totally misusing this data and should be convicted for it.
To truly own your own device that you have paid for with your own hard earned cash, sadly some idiots are preventing your legal right.
We should start a classaction lawsuit against everyone who are guilty of this, as well as convict them of restricting our Right to Repair. Separately convict them for wasting precious metals and polluting the environment.
They must release an unlocked signed bootloader and firehose programmer. Until they do, they are BLACKLISTED from ever getting any money from me or anyone of the people who constantly ask me what to buy.
If the device is U4 or lower there is hope to unlock the bootloader, root it, and completely modify it. Do not brick it in the process because the idiots have put mines inside the chip as part of their security scheme which really is a mafia extortion scheme to drink your blood like vampiers and keep you in the matrix under their control and steal your money.
