Downloading right now, but can't I use latest global firmware for curtana? Do I have to flash latest weekly chinese firmware as stated above?

I tried it both on Chinese and Global firmware and both worked, but the battery drain is unreal, I believe it is due to you skipping on EAS, if you could find a work around this to conserve more battery life, let me know so that I would flash it again because I have switched to a different custom rom.
P.S: the rom is amazing, it is only the battery drain that kills it.

Looking Forward to this Amazing Rom.

hi xrpdigital, may I know if the camera2api was pre activated or need to do it manually? and which firmware suitable for daily use? since i am using the india firmware, but still having randomized 'restart' and 'freeze' problem. Please advise, overall, keep this rom up! thank u sir.

Always use ur region latest firmware.
However if u still facing freeze try to reflash rom

This rom is smooth and stable, but one problem i face, Applock not working when i open locked apps from notification please team fix it, applock is very importants for me.(sorry for bad english)

Really smooth ROM, nice work! Only problem I've found is that the stock camera app is really laggy and slow. It works, it's just slow. I installed Simple Camera as a workaround and all is well.
Thanks for your effort! I especially love that my phone thinks it's a Pixel

Hi Team, Started testing this rom, I see the OS hangs when I try to add a new gmail account.

Got it fixed I had to disable fingerprint to get it done ...

So faar so good, Issues with the fingerprint scanner. In-app login with fingerprint auto-locks the device and gets into a loop.

Update process ended with error 1 ?? can anyone please help?

Charging is fine in this ROM. Minor UI crashes if you are using fingerprint scanner. Google Play resets to default settings when you reboot your phone. i.e. your apps will auto update and what not. While video calling, other person can see your face but you can't see their's. Android Auto detects the phone but when I click ok, phone hangs. ROM is smooth though. Sometimes you're locked out and can't get in past lock screen and your only option is to reboot.

Will it work on Realme X Chinese?

There are some problems:
1. Crashed and OS restart when connected, cast to wireless display.
2. Bluetooth headphone connected but phone still playing audio with phone speaker.
3. Blinking screen when dialing.

Is there an option to lock the device with double tap?

Can anyone confirm if android auto works? And Bluetooth streaming audio/calls or any other issues? I'm hesitant to flash a rom other than MIUi EU because is many of them have significant issues... Any info would be greatly appreciated

most decent official ROMs are android auto car friendly. using curtana with a couple of different ROMs and most work fine.
in fact the main reason why i ditched stock MIUI was due to android auto causing lag. not sure about MIUI 12.5 though.

Formatted and Clean flashed last night and setup. Woke up this morning and my phone was frozen/turned off... Couldn't tell which. Phone was on charger all night. Curtana/9s

I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 9 pro. The phone has root and PixelPlusUI v3.9 is on it. I have a problem because all the calls that come in do not display the own name from the book, only the incoming number at mine at the end. For example :
Instead of displaying the contact's name, something like this is displayed : +48765765765&123123123.
As you can see, the first number is an incoming number, then there is an & sign and then my number. And all the time for incoming. Everything is fine for outgoing calls. I have two SIM cards - the first for internet and communication, the second one for internet only. I have no idea anymore, something is the reason - I checked the displayed contacts to see if the SIM is not biting, I imported again from Google, I changed the sims places, I cleaned the application memory - it does not do anything.

try to flash positron kernel see if it fixes it.

Can i use it as Daily Driver in Curtana Global ?

In a day of usage i have 3 time experiencing cannot wake up from screen off.
Display still off when i press power button and led indicator blinking white.
Flash etherius kernel not helping

Hi all,
This might be a Noob thing, so please be gentle on me: I had some adventure using Nusantara custom rom with Android 12, but it was creating too much lag to be enjoyable. Then I tried the Android 11 version of it, which runs very fast, but after a while I got Android security update warnings and after a few weeks I couldn't even log in to my Google account anymore... (endless repeat).
My Redmi Note 5A phone has 4 GB ram.
Is it advisable to run Android 12 on this thing? I see recommendations that you should at least have 6 GB ram...

Edit: After a while it magically worked! Only the Android Information system kept on nagging me, so I disabled it. After that all good. However it starts lagging after a few hours of use. With frequent restarts it is nice, but...

the download link you provided doesnt have "ulysse" folder in it. i dont know which build to flash for my 5a prime. are those folders are the maintainers? or devices codenames? can you please put the correct exact link of this build for REDMI NOTE 5a Prime to avoid so much confusion and to avoid unnecessary waste of internet bandwidth re-downloading each of them and checking what works for this specific device thread you created? If that make sense.

Ive just downloaded the latest build inside "vayu" folder and it failed to flash. I guess its not for Note 5a Prime? I just wasted 2gb of data bandwidth with that?

I remember that the source forge link above has only a weird tiny 12.1 Mb file. I probably downloaded it before that. With Google I found this link:

I don't have the actual file anymore.
The 12 is now ok for me, but I have to restart my phone once a day, once I have about 10 Apps open. Even if I close them the lagging remains.

Thanks for your reply and links. I did bit of digging and it appeared that official support for this device was officially dropped with all links all dead. I think the OP should atleast edit the tittle to "DISCONTINUED" or closed the thread for furthur replies if links are all down anyways and no plans for re-uploading.

A question about this rom (and possibly all a12 roms). Is OTA updates working or are they not working until a recovery that can decrypt a12 is ready?

Good rom, unfortunately it doesn't come with MIUI camera, but it still good. How to show NFC icon in the status bar? I can't show the NFC icon from status bar customization.

Almost perfect ROM in Android 12.
There's no build-in FM Radio app (not internet radio) and 「double tap to turn off screen」.

Not sure if are referring to the stock launcher but most launchers support gestures. I use the microsoft launcher and have set the double tap to turn off the screen.

Great ROM. So far my experience is smooth as hell. Here's few things that bug me though.
I can't find the option to disable the cover art blur on lockscreen.
I know that this ROM offers minimal UI enhancements but it would be really sweet if it had the LineageOS' Lockscreen visualizer.
So far I couldn't manage to set up Viper4Android whereas I was successful in crDroid 8.2
(Rootless driver seems to be the way to go.)
Also in the website if you expand one device's download links, all of them expands.

I found this ROM's bluetooth inferior to crDroid's.
So far my bluetooth earphones randomly stop working and I have to reconnect to get them to work again and I can't connect to my linux laptop to serve audio.

Can't fast custom recovery on 1.5 and 1.6 thru PC using the cmd method on fastboot is there any way to fast custom recovery on this rom without being rooted?
Ohh and I've noticed that the camera on 1.5 and 1.6 are glitching or bug on some apps like FB Messenger, Instagram, Snapchat and etc...
Update the bug on the camera seem to be fix on the 1.7 update but stil need more observation :>
and still can't fast custom recovery on the 1.7 on my phone -.-
