Hi all,
This might be a Noob thing, so please be gentle on me: I had some adventure using Nusantara custom rom with Android 12, but it was creating too much lag to be enjoyable. Then I tried the Android 11 version of it, which runs very fast, but after a while I got Android security update warnings and after a few weeks I couldn't even log in to my Google account anymore... (endless repeat).
My Redmi Note 5A phone has 4 GB ram.
Is it advisable to run Android 12 on this thing? I see recommendations that you should at least have 6 GB ram...

the download link you provided doesnt have "ulysse" folder in it. i dont know which build to flash for my 5a prime. are those folders are the maintainers? or devices codenames? can you please put the correct exact link of this build for REDMI NOTE 5a Prime to avoid so much confusion and to avoid unnecessary waste of internet bandwidth re-downloading each of them and checking what works for this specific device thread you created? If that make sense.

Ive just downloaded the latest build inside "vayu" folder and it failed to flash. I guess its not for Note 5a Prime? I just wasted 2gb of data bandwidth with that?

I remember that the source forge link above has only a weird tiny 12.1 Mb file. I probably downloaded it before that. With Google I found this link:

I don't have the actual file anymore.
The 12 is now ok for me, but I have to restart my phone once a day, once I have about 10 Apps open. Even if I close them the lagging remains.

Thanks for your reply and links. I did bit of digging and it appeared that official support for this device was officially dropped with all links all dead. I think the OP should atleast edit the tittle to "DISCONTINUED" or closed the thread for furthur replies if links are all down anyways and no plans for re-uploading.

Please help solve the problem with Wi-Fi 5 GHz. On firmware 11 the Wi-Fi signal has a very poor range on android 11 Rom and there are problems with saving the 5 GHz Wi-Fi settings. If you go into the settings of the connected 5 GHz network, each time you go out and go in, the settings of the MAC address and automatic connection change randomly their values and with a bad signal wi-fi does not connect automatically (on firmware 10 Wi-Fi signal is good, but settings change randomly their values). A10 firmware Wi-Fi is good but wi-fi 5ghz settings are unstable, every time you go into the settings of connected network, the switch for automatic connection of the wifi is in the off position or on and mac: devices or random.
Due to the fact that the automatic connection switch is sometimes off, with a bad signal - Wi-Fi does not connect...
Thank you for the ROM , everything works fine, but there are 2 things i think if you could fix those, it would be better.
1, I think the digital clock and the dates in the QS panel are way too large, maybe the dates fine but, in landscape mode when the QS is expanded, the clock always overrides the QS tiles, it makes the QS panel look not so good.
2, How do you think about moving the brightness bar above the QS tiles like stock A11 ROM or make an option in Settings where people could choose if they wanted to move the brightness bar? I know it's not that easy but hope you understand. I don't know how to explain it in detail, my English is not so good

Hi, I'm from Vietnam. Let's make friends.
I have used this rom for the past 24 hours and I'm very happy with it. But the downer for me is that it has the same problem as the MIUI 12 build for Ginkgo which is slowing of WiFi connection when bluetooth media is played. FYI, That problem was solved in the XiaomiEU beta builds. Other than that, solid build if you are not playing with bluetooth media.
The best Android 11 rom that i have ever tried. Keep your excellent work!

my wallpaper gets zoomed in on both lock and homescreen and sometimes isnt centered. is this a bug with the wallpaper picker or a android thing?
Question to Dev - any chance to fix faulty CallerID while on VoLTE (at least for my carrier - polish P4/Play). Incoming number is wrong - is composed of incoming number, the & symbol and phone number. This bug is present in all AOSP based ROMS I tried so far (tried almost all).
The only ROM is working properly on VoLTE is Lineage.

I found no different between Normal and VOOC
And I did some simple test :
1. Normal charger
2. VOOC 18W charger
3. PD65W charger
Seems that VOOC&PD got limit to 10w
Maybe I should test at low battery level?

Stutter or jitter both is not visible atleast on 6gb varient XT... and most of the animation stuff depends on launcher. so i suggest you to use lawnchair or pixel launcher 12L mod.

I have recently been using PPui 4.2 and later 4.3.
The 4.4 required a clean install so I did that.
However I am doing something wrong, I can't get it installed now.
Can someone tell me how to do it.
I have now done:
Miui.eu
No Oss Vendor
vbmeta
Pixelplusui 4.4
if i do this then it starts recovery again.
If I flash only miui.eu then it does work.
But I would like the Pixelplus rom.
Between all the files on my also have Diable verify forceencrypt stan.
Don't know if I had to use this one too.
What am I doing wrong, or am I doing it in the wrong sequense?
Very strange, Other roms I can just install.
Have CrDroid running now.
Too bad because PPui was my favorite.
I just flashed the ROM and Everything is working great except poor battery life and live wallpaper section missing

Btw, when I tried downloading different rom from the link you provided, it downloaded fine.

Thanks. I was able to flash the rom. Its super smooth though there are few bugs that I found but it's no big deal.

I skipped the part where you will flash the miui vendor since i'm using stock MIUI Global (12.5.7).
2nd day im using this rom . its touch sensitivity is smooth and the connection is good. but its always heating
no file issue when download ROM for redmi note 9, dev should fix this since it is hassle just to download ROM itself
Update : mod decided to ban me from telegram project elixir official group because I am asking about no file issue on the group, for me it's red flag if the mod itself banned because of their own issue, will use another ROM instead.

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

- Boot to Recovery
- Format Data by typing yes
- Flash the latest build
- Reboot

Do let us know if the rom supports Dash charging as the devoloper is avoiding the question.

As u can read it here. So I think, the ROM supports Onplus's Dash charge. Haven't tested though.
Edit: Make sure you have the v3.1 version installed, not v3.

Here's the kicker to why I'm not trusting the changelog for this Oneplus build, Dash support (and other fast charging) was also added in 1.8 by the main ROM creator (1.8 changelog) but alot of people claimed that it didn't support it (12.1 build thread), which leads two things:
1) the main Rom creator did add it in the Unported version of his Rom (the Oneplus 5 rom was ported by someone else and not the main rom developer) but porter (creator of the thread) did not implement it for unknown reasons.
2) it has been implemented but no one has been able to properly test it.
I would have tested it myself, but I've been out of the customs since Derpfest released his perfected 12.1 rom. If anyone can confirm if it does support dash charging, I'll start running this. If not then I'll wait.
The 2- and 3-button navigation doesn't actually bring up a button bar.
There are 2 camera apps. com.google.android.camera keeps crashing. com.ngcam.camera works.

However I cannot get it to work, its stuck at the boot animation. Formatted data, wiped system and factory resat, trying both TWRP A11 and A12. Anyone able to get it to work?
Edit: Flashing 2.1 with the above process works just fine.

Same Issues
It's stuck at the boot animation. I also try everything format data wiped system, In Orangefox recovery also same problem

Is there an option for showing the lights on the physical capacitive buttons? I dug around and can't seem to find it. I'm on 3 button navigation, the buttons work great, but they're not lighting up.
Thank you for the Rom, I am using it since 2 days
The rom is very smooth and snappy,much more than what I tried before on A12 roms
i hope that you keep publishing future releases after beta and beyond
few thing what i noticed so far:
1- Calendar app not included (its essential in my opinion)
2- apps notifications are turned off by default (had to turn it on for all apps, and for every new app i install)
3- OnePlus Settings are disabled (grey), for example vibration strength ( may i suggest not to use OnePlus Settings to control vibration, as it sets one strength for everything, Ring/Notif/Haptics)
4- buttons backlight not working (also i use Xposed Edge Pro to customize the button's behavior, but for some reason i cant enable the keys option in the app, was working perfectly on A12)
5- Mobile Data QS tile doesn't animate/change color between active/inactive unless i close and reopen QS (same issue was there on A12 Derpfest)
looking forward for much more customizations hopefully
- Ambient Edge Light,
- catagorized Vibration strength control(Ring/Notif/Haptics)
- physical buttons customization (Back/Recents long click, power button flashlight)
- Show volume panel on left
- Monet theming
- Face Lock
- privacy indicators toggle (Location/Camera/Mic)
- status bar customization (clock pos, mobile data small icon)
and the list never ends
