Flashed this today and all seems working pretty nice. Thank you!
The only thing that I find a bit annoying is that I cannot add any apps to the home screen. There sits just the camera app which I cannot remove, so opening an app is always tap arrow app and locate the app to tap again. Any idea if this is like this by design? I cannot find any settings to change this behavior.

That is an old bug in the launcher.
It randomly occurs. Force stop the app and try again.

Thanks for the info! Finally managed to make it work by changing the home settings / grid size, allow modification, etc settings back and forth. Not sure which one did the trick but it started to behave normally after messing a bit. So now everything looks quite nice.

I like the philosophy of DivestOS so I installed it on my Nexus 9. It works well, but I think that video acceleration doesn't work since the tablet gets hot and battery drains quickly while watching videos.
Is this known or expected? Is it because some blob has been removed in DivestOS?
(I noticed that this rom got video acceleration fixed "recently". Is that change applicable to DivestOS also?)
Thanks for your work on DivestOS! Much appreciated!

Those patches linked in that thread are already included in DivestOS.
It is possible some other change breaks it.
I'll put it on my TODO list for testing.

Is this support LTE version?

Amazing rom great performance! I relocked the bootloader not problems

wait, that works? official website states:
"Relockable: Yes, Might Brick"
Interesting... What are the requirements? Can it work the on other roms?

Likely not as DivestOS take special steps to properly sign the system unlike most others.
While you can likely lock flounder, DivestOS does not enable full verified boot enforcement as I found it caused some issues on flounder.
Due to the funky NVIDIA bootloader I actually do not recommend relocking this device, like I usually would for others.

Thx for your work. Im now on lineage os with microg.
I will use test your ROM.
I can't use my ear pods to make a phone call, it doesn't work, but i can use them to hear music. I tried too with Telegram and i can't switch to my ear pod when i want to make a phone call. Thats the first bug that i remark, battery seems good.
Hey thanks a lot for this!
Did anyone try and manage to relock the bootloader after the install??

I did the install on some friends' FP3s, I'd be up to test it but I can't really afford to brick their phones.
On a scale from insane to relatively safe, how would you rate the idea of testing the relocking?

This is absolutely not a tinfoil hat or ricing ROM.
This project intends to provide long term support to devices with some privacy and security benefits on top.
If you read that whole sentence with context the key word is "are in high-risk areas".
It is well known that during large events that law enforcement agencies will use interception devices.

I found that when ROM is in use, the mobile data network will disappear inexplicably. You need to manually switch the APN option, and then it will be normal. Can you repair it?

Works great, daily use
Hallo,
I'm using DivestOS with my OnePlus 3T and I'm very happy. F-Droid and Aurora Store for apps.
Potential improvements:
-GPS: with OMS it takes a lot of time before getting the exct position
- backup: possibility to save in NAS (not only PC)
- NAS: ideas to create one app integrating with Synology NAS?
- QR Scanner app: from 2 app stores no excellent app unfortunately
- Calendar: you need to use DAVx5 if you own a Goolash calendar.. but no Birthday are working with DAVx5. Only main calendar. you could use "Birthday Adapter" from F-Droid.
- OTA: after upate, zip file remains and it makes confusion if we need to update it again or not.
Thanks for further comments.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12.1, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Never expected this device to get A12.x, especially even prior than OP3
This is amazing, just flashed it and it works perfectly. Never thought my good old op2 would go this far, especially afetr OnePlus abandoned it early

Scripts/LineageOS-17.1/CVE_Patchers/android_kernel_oneplus_msm8994.sh · master · DivestOS Mobile / DivestOS-Build · GitLab
Everything needed to build DivestOS, a more private and more secure aftermarket mobile operating system. https://divestos.org/index.php?page=build

maybe you should also apply these? would be nice.

Ask in their support group or try something like opengapps
Now it worked, but I've noticed problems with data connection even on wifi.. Can't finish installation from gplay store
UPDATE: i-net is working in browser, problem seams to be google store...

Use Zygisk. You will find plenty of guides on internet. Also if it needs CTS passing, then try some workaround including kdrag0n's patch or LineageOS patch.

Please just flash ROM first and boot into the system. This ensures it isn't any problem with the ROM but your addons.
Awesome. we are lucky to have him around still.
This is awesome! I already bought Poco F3 as my replacement and now I still have OP2 to play with!
Up up guys
Is the Data toggle issue solved?

Any other download links? I cann't access google.
Can't find swipe to screenshot can it be added in next version
Just installed the Nov 19th update. Works very well, also face unlock, no bugs found - but I didn't try the phone functions yet.
In display settings / colour there is no text for the 4 different colour profile settings, just the checkboxes (but they work).

Hmm, interesting, I'll try
@akash.galaxy07 Latest update introduced some bugs & regressions
Worse battery doze performance (compared to prev version), and the log is being spammed by libperfmgr: Failed to write to node: /dev/stune/top-app/schedtune.boost. This behavior is similar to current SparkOS (which is why i switched to crDroid in the first place)
Similar audio issues as SparkOS where certain audio apps (i think those that play audio via native code and not the java api) will crackle / pop at random intervals.
When transitioning between 60 and 120hz the color will shift a bit. More noticable on black / dark colors
Found a workaround for the audio clicks / pops / cracks on applications that plays audio via native code and not java api (e.g. games), also needs root. Goto /vendor/etc/audio_policy_configurations.xml
Line 101 and find this:
XML:
<mixPort name="raw" role="source" flags="AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_FAST|AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_RAW">
<profile name="" format="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_16_BIT"
samplingRates="48000" channelMasks="AUDIO_CHANNEL_OUT_STEREO"/>
</mixPort>
Change it to
XML:
<mixPort name="raw" role="source" flags="AUDIO_OUTPUT_FLAG_FAST">
<profile name="" format="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_16_BIT"
samplingRates="48000" channelMasks="AUDIO_CHANNEL_OUT_STEREO"/>
</mixPort>
This eliminates the weird audio issue while still keeping dolby functionality for music apps. Note this is a workaround and disables raw audio output, the real issue is still somewhere else (kernel maybe?) but it works for now. Maybe @akash.galaxy07 can look into it
Perfect, I'll implement this workaround in next build for sure.
