Just bought Mi 10T Pro and need som help - Xiaomi Mi 10T / 10T Pro Questions & Answers

Yesterday I bought a Mi 10T Pro and I have a few questions.
I want to make the MUIU as close as possible to a vanilla Android and also at least Xiaomi apps as possible.
Im going to use Nova Launcher also.
I read somewhere that it was possible to delete Xiaomi's own apps via ADB, is it correct and how do I do?
The reason I don't want to flash a custom rom is they still seem to not work that well yet due to what I have read in the threads.
I will flash a custom rom when:
1) It is possible to port the full working Stock Xiaomi App, so it is possible to film in 8K and 4K 60fps.
GCAM can also be a alternative if it works well in 4k 60fps and 8K, would be great if GCAM could make it possible to use OIS and EIS in 4K 60fps
2) When NFC works 1000%
3) When fingerprint works to 100%
4) Banking apps, netflix must work.

Well until others can assist u to find one, kindly use debloater tool from https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools , and use the theme Google Pixel v12.

Enabling Camera2 requires TWRP which I believe requires an unlocked bootloader and root access. All the other also require an unlocked bootloader which may stop some banking apps from working (especially Google pay)

Debloat tool is working without unlocking bootloader.
I was using this tool while my bootloader was locked for debloating.
Also unlocking bootloader doesn't mean you can't use banking apps. Magisk hide is doing pretty good job hiding root.

That is really important, I must be able to use my banks app and payment app with NFC.

Camera2api already enabled if i'm not mistaken. I have a version of Gcam working just fine with few minor bugs. Miui 12 is not as bad as it sounds when you have control of it. It has plenty of features you won't find on, say, lineage (I use one on my other device). I have 4.5gb free ram with few apps unoptimized.

Yes, you're right, cameras api is enabled and most gcams work out-of-the-box but with mixed success. Bsg gcam seems to be the best working gcam for mi 10t (pro) for now

Not going to interfere with OTAs. It's just a few scripts. Backup your system partition or you can always reflash your ROM over it.
Will this work on Redmi 5 (not plus)?
hey guys, does anyone know how to level the Camera2 API on Redmi 5 Plus? (Full, Level_3)?

Easiest way would be to just reflash/update your ROM over it.

Oreo? I won't see any changelog this update has on Oreo, simple stay on Nougat.

Device is not certified

So apparently there has been an update and all my devices are now showing up as uncertified in the Play store. Anyone seen a new work around for this while running custom ROMs?
On the bright side it seems devices that you side load apps too, still get updates for the moment.
Stock OOS 5.1.4 UBL is also uncertified :|
Anyone else have this issue on Stock OOS with unlocked BL??
I've never seen my device be certified since I began using this phone. Is it normal for UBL phones to be uncertified even if they aren't rooted?

Hey alessandro,
Does disabling Play Protect have any role in this? I keep it disabled because I side-load many apps.

Sorry, your account has been flagged for piracy, so you'll have to reflash every 7 days else your account won't give up updates.

That's not what it means. Custom ROMs, unlocked boot loaders, rooted devices, etc, can trigger this. Generally custom kernels or Magisk would prevent this. However not anymore . Right now I'm seeing it across 4 accounts, 8 devices, 4 different types of devices, all LOS.
Here is the fix. Just tested this on the latest build of LOS, and it works fine. Direct link to the Magisk module.
Also those directions, say they chose a Pixel fingerprint, I chose the OP 5T fingerprint, it worked just fine. My device is now certified.

thank you so much that was the only thing preventing me from updating

Which one is better? Xiaomi eu stable or official global stable.?

I ve just managed to Unlock my bootloader officially. And l 'm wondering about which rom is better in order to flash.... Is xiaomi eu stable rom better or official global stable? The first one is based on official Chinese, I know that. But am trying to find the best for my 6/128gb
Global stable
IMHO

For 6/128
It would have to be EU ROM
I've moved from 6/128 to 4/64
So I can get rid of ROM anxiety
Buy global hardware

u get newer stuffs on EU rom i think since it's based on china rom.
Eu is better. You can also root without issues if you choose. It also updates more frequently. Global literally has turned into a bandwagon rom. Just read for yourself.
I know that rooting is effecting the fingerprint. Is that soor?

In the xiaomi eu description says that if you want you can flash the twrp and the root at the same time but root is lagging a bit the fingerprint scanner functionality.

Just root via Magisk. It works fine and doesn't lag or interfere with the fingerprint reader whatsoever.
Still wondering who the hell makes up this kind of nonsense .

If you see the xiaomi eu stable subject and especially the installation description you will see that when they say about twrp install they have a warning about root via magisk.

All I can tell you is that pretty much everyone in this XDA sub-forum is running this setup, and has been since pretty much device launch.
It works fine.

Link include MSM, just use it in top. Frimware works fine, and include more languages.
What camera is included?
Can someone compare battery life after usage?
Might be an idea to explain what this is.
A little context at least
works great and if you need play store just go to apkmirror.com and download the play store package, install, login to google and download the apps you need
ColorOS beta work okay for me.
The UI look different but has very similar options (as expected).
Sadly can not find boot.img to patch with Magisk since this is not a OTA update.

Question Bootloader / Debloat / Pi-Hole vs SafetyNet (regarding the STOCK ROM)

Even a bit of searching won't help now but since...
crDroid doesn't have the CORRECT Dolby Atmos module needed, which effectively requires MIUI...
Xiaomi.eu still has few concerning bugs for real life (ringtone cannot be changed, for instance)...
I read something about Pixel Extended being problematic enough to brick someone's previous Poco F3...
I flashed the stock ROM again and tried to debloat it, to a success I'm proud of, but of course, SafetyNet complains about unlocked bootloaders. Except here's the problem: Locking the bootloader with a debloated stock ROM is an effective hardbrick, right?
If not, I may as well lock it, right? Assuming I will never update MIUI that is......or it's Universal Android Debloater to the rescue...
If yes, this leaves me with two paths:
Clean all and lock this time, as in reflash the stock ROM again, but with the bootloader locked, but let a Pi-Hole handle the adblocking
Stay on a custom MIUI ROM for the duration of the device, without the bugs, assuming it's SafetyNet-OK (I'd ask someone to test MIUI Pulse Extended 13 with a secondary device first)
But I'm asking this for those who rather need everything working as intended, including a SafetyNet CTS TRUE, which means stock ROM AND locked bootloader:
Will a Pi-Hole work for those CTS TRUE who want to block the ads in Xiaomi's own system apps? Or that's it and custom ROMs all the way?
Explaining what a Pi-Hole is is beyond the scope of the forums I believe, let alone this device's forum, but tl;dr I'm not giving up the fight for a proper Atmos, no ads and my games running properly AND SafetyNet OK, even if it means a discrete Raspberry Pi handling this mess of a "MIUI chaos" instead of a custom ROM.
Trying to debloat the stock is an option if it works with locked bootloaders, but I'm not sure if that will trip SafetyNet, since I didn't dare relock it to check. Though few searches imply locked-bootloader debloat and SafetyNet STILL OK, not sure if BASIC only or CTS TRUE. But this brings me to the Pi-Hole part again...
Or I should grab a Sony Xperia 1 IV at this point? (ahead of time)
I once use stock miui (locked) then debloat, lastly using blokada for all the adblock that I need. Use persintent vpn mode to make sure always on adblock and choose xiaomi ad block on blokada option
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!111
I use Xiaomi.eu Custom ROM (Stable, MIUI 13, Android 12).
I use AdAway to block ads system-wide. (Available on F-Droid!)
And I use Magisk + Magisk Module "Universal SafetyNet Fix" for Root, Mods and passing SafetyNet.
I use Xiaomi.eu because Dolby Atmos and MIUI Camera are also important to me.
So... you don't have to lock the bootloader. You CAN pass SafetyNet!
You might have to clear data of Google Play Store & Google Play Services.
If "Netflix" shows up, SafetyNet is passing.
But if you do lock your bootloader, you should be careful and factory reset, and only debloat AFTER the bootloader-lock.
BTW, here's proof that SafetyNet works. This will also work on many other Custom ROMs:
