XDDD

Can you say in short what does all those features mean to guy who is not an expert, in comparison to stock?
- OneUI and GSI build.
- Upstreamed from 4.19.190 to 4.19.191
- Enabled all Native Governers
- SElinux enforcing.
I read about SElinux enforcing I know it is security feature that I saw in ASOP rom on different device.
Also question about flashing. How do I do it, as it is not a fully compiled rom, just a kernel?
With Odin as AP?
I have already rooted my device with Magisk.
Thanks!

hey, sure I would be glad to elaborate
1: that this kernel working in both ONEUI based ROM as well as GSIs
2: Upstreaming kernel: in short words it about to making kernel better by merging latest changes
3: Governors are kind of profiles if you want performance you can use that governer, if want low performance and good battery life you can go for that, is up to you. its basically tweak CPU to work on full potential or on its lowest according to your governors
About Flashing I have mentioned steps here read them.

It is stock recovery, you must have custom recovery like TWRP in order to install.

So, it is not possible right now? There is no support for this device from twrp as I just checked. How did you manage to install it?

Same question. I'm dying to try this out!

@LazerL0rd is this based on stock US or Global firmware!
Will flash this shortly, thanks
Edit: installed on existenz rom v3.7.0, (with or without magisk) phone loads bootloader warning message and turns off, same results with fresh install of stock .30 firmware.
I saw kali nethunter aircrack-ng feature, does this mean you are able to build a nethunter kernel for XZ Premium?? Because that would be awesome! Also do you know how to add some overclocked frequencies to CPU and GPU?

This kernel will support some features of Nethunter, not all. I may add more in later.
Secondly, I'm against overclocking this SoC as it is highly performant already - once you try my kernel with it's governor settings you'll love it.
Thirdly, I'm bringing EAS soon so that'll improve battery while keeping the nice performance I've got in my HMP settings.

I meant HID, aircrack-ng support, and wireless drivers as the nethunter features. Currently I've only added aircrack-ng support.

Great job on this OP the battery life is pretty phenomenal with stormbreaker , but could you please fix the tap to show ambient display when the device is locked , whenever convenient? DT2W works perfectly , it's just single tap to show ambient display that isn't working . Thanks alot !

Personally , the battery life has been far better for me on stormbreaker compared to elemental x , even though I set the latter to conservative at all times during the day . Also there's no lags or abrupt stutters with stormbreaker at all , it's smoother than the stock kernel and slightly more consistent in terms of performance than elemental x , atleast in my usage .

Hi
I have a couple of questions regarding the kernel installation
Can I install the kernel on a stock rom?
If not If I decide to use a custom ROM, I will need to install the kernel before installing the custom ROM Right?
Currently, with Normal Usage (Reddit, Whatsapp, etc) I get around 5 Hrs SOT on 90Hz
Can I expect to see an increase in the battery performance if I decide to use this kernel?

My main issue is that Whatsapp I belive eats the better part of my battery and it causes an Issue.
So once I unlock my device(Before installation of kernel), all data is wiped correct?

NDataX Kernel
Samsung Galaxy A51
NDataX is a custom kernel, bringing stability & improvement, without reducing performance. Beside, this kernel is aiming for less-developed devices.
Code:
- Disabled auto reboot when panic (random reboot)
- Fixed MTP issue in GSI variant
- Enabled all CPU Governors & I/O Scheduler
- Removed security restriction
- Removed verify & avb flags (no need to flash dm verity disabler again)
- WireGuard suppport
- Kali NetHunter support (Wi-Fi adapter v2-v3 support coming soon)
- Upstreamed to v4.14.140
- Some adjustment to stability which I forgot
Github Release
- Requirements:
Stock OneUI 2.5 ROM (Port or stock) or custom ROM (GSI, etc)
TWRP 3.5 by @ianmacd (search in YouTube. @redymedan created the video tutorial, iirc his channel is Android How-To)
Bootloader unlocked of course
- Installation steps:
Download one of this kernel zip based on your ROM type. Stock variant for stock, Custom variant for custom / GSI rom
Direct flash the zip. Note that if you installed magisk before, then it will not removed.
Simply reboot and enjoy
If you feel this kernel is helpful, and want to help me build by donating, here is the answer : Don't donate to me, donate to other people that more need donation. Like charity or other. I'm not being rude, or don't want to be helped, or whatever. This kernel is builded in my free time, so I don't do this for job, but just my hobby.

News & other.
09-02-2021: Since samsung release Android 11 source along wity OneUI 3 (will world-wide soon), NDataX will support Android 1 as well as Android 10. But, Android 10 support will EOL (end of life) when OneUI 3 is already world-wide. Why? It's difficult to maintain 2 Android version support, because we don't know what Samsung do & changes in each source.

Great to see you fix it. But format data solution is hard to do on some user, because they may keep important data and not able to backup.
Do you remove the encryption after flashing TWRP before? With formatting data & flashing DM Verity disabler. When encryption is removed then TWRP should not error of unable to mount /data

No, I don't need it. I'm not being rude, don't want to be helped, or whatever.
Don't donate to me, donate to other people that more need donation. Like charity or other. This kernel is builded in my free time, so I don't do this for job, but just my hobby.
Additionally, if you want to say thanks, then just like this thread and/or click thanks button. That will be very appreciated!

Use TWRP for now.

I couldn't install using OrangeFox Recovery. It says "unsupported device". Could you please make kernel compatible to flashing with OrangeFox Recovery? Because TWRP doesn't have any security option like gesture key or PIN code.

Hi! Sorry about that issue. Sure, I'll create my own scripts for installing BlueFly. Maybe it's combination of .zip & .img. If anything goes right, will upload it in v2.5.
For anyone who facing error in OrangeFox, use this version: https://t.me/samsunga51/44175. It's same version, adapted for OrangeFox support. Thanks to @Yilliee
Hello.
My TWRP says "Unsupported device" when I want to install v 2.0
Do I do something wrong?
EDIT: nvm, I used BlueFly_2.0_a51nsxx and is working good.
Thanks for the kernel!
Regards.

I will try to install LineageOS-17.1-20210317-UNOFFICIAL-a51 from Yillie.
Thanks.
I installed LineageOS-17.1-20210317-UNOFFICIAL-a51 and everything was working fine, but when I install BlueFly_2.0_a51nsxx screen rotation is not working again.
Looks like it's not ROM bug.
Regards.

If I don't do gaming, would you recommend this kernel just for improved battery (bb)?
The kernel is good however, I can't download the app from the website because all links are dead. I wish there's another way of getting it.
