Reboot your phone.
If you want to keep it, you can try autojs(or other auto apps)to run this when start up.

Personally i find 60 fps good for everything else.
the automatic detection switches to 120 fps mode when I go into games, which is exactly what I want.
Having the phone run at 120 fps all the time drains too much battery.

Question about Razer Phone 120hz display

Afaik.. most if not all Android games are lock in 30fps ? a few has the option to run at 60fps... so what is the purpose of the 120hz display?
for home screen at navigation only ?

No not all android games are locked at 30 or 60 fps, many are not locked at all, which means they can reach 120 fps even with little to no aupport.
120FPS can and does function everywhere that has no framerate lock (just like PC). Even custom roms run at 120 fps.
For a list of OFFICIALLY supported games refer to
https://support.razer.com/mobile/razer-phone
Here you will see a list if officially supported games. However, games that are NOT framerate locked "can" reach 120FPS depending on how graphically heavy they are.
You will see the 120 fps everywhere and i personally have not found any part of the OS where there might be a framerate lock mainly because there is none. Also its super smooth and responsive.
Now yes games that are locked will not reach higher framerates unless official support is added by the game developer.

You can also have the FPS show on your screen while using the phone (in any app) and you'll see a lot of games run higher than 30 or 60fps.
This setting can be found towards the bottom of developer options

90 FPS support in third party apps for non rooted Realme X2 pro !!

Sorry for the title
It's only for 90 fps supported games that do not run at 90 fps in Realme X2 pro.
Follow the steps:
1. Go Settings- display brightness- select screen refresh rate 'auto' and turn on 'low brightness flicker free eye comfort'
2. Open any 90fps supported game
3. Give the brightness very low (game will run at 90fps)
4. Minimize the game
5. Again go to settings and select screen refresh rate 90hz.
6. Open the minimized game
7. Increase the brightness
(Normally when you increase the brightness the game again goes from 90fps to 60fps . So you have to do this method to play games at 90 fps with high brightness)
If you fail try this method again & again..
or do same as the video:

yes that's good except that it is impossible to play at 90fps with the brightness at least at half or maximum. So it's not much use my friends
Wrong bro.
By using this method I was able to play at 90 fps even at maximum brightness. (Tasted on 'sky force reloaded' game)

¿How To Force 90 hz Refresh Rate in All Apps?

Hello, I want to know how I can force the 90 hz refresh rate in all apps and games since in certain apps and games the 90 hz does not remain constant. For example, I wanted to play pubg mobile and it was played at 60 Hz, even with 90 Hz active, something similar happens on YouTube. and many other apps. Anyone know how you can force 90 hz whether with a root method or not ...

it depends on the app, if an app was not designed to run at 90hz, it will not use the 90Hz screen...
Also depends in compatibility, some apps were designed to run 90hz on high end phones with powerful processors (which is the case for PUBG) but will not do so on mid tier SoCs

Maybe, but i tell you something. I had a mi 9 and I overclock the screen to 84 hz, all the interface was smooth. I think is not an apps issue. i think is a system cap... Because I can a 90 fps or 84 fps in pubg mobile with a hex editor trick. And here because of that I cant do it..

Can a Mi10t lite downgrade to 90hz?

Since I’m actually afraid of consuming the battery life and personally don’t need 120hz, is there a way to downgrade it to 90hz?
And if it isn’t possible via settings, is there a DBTO image that can allow that?
thanks
I don't think it's possible (yet) but It's adaptive sync so it will not run 120hz at all time, it will run at the supported hz's of: 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz
For example on the home screen and settings it will run at 50hz (according to my test) when you not scroll, only 120hz when you scroll or touch.
Most games locked to 30/60fps and it will not run at 120hz there of course.

I know, but even with adaptive sync I don't think this phone will get to 7 hours of usage with display on

My phone with normal usage (chrome, youtube, instagram, some light games) gets 8-9 hours on screen with 120hz (adaptive sync).

Not that i aware of. But just to mind you, even if you manage to get 120, by the time it playing video, it will revert back to 60. 120 is only for the UI

Yes, the youtube app or website videos will play only at 60 fps!

It's because the video uploaded by user itself is 60fps. So 120Hz on Youtube is kinda pointless after all.
