Question Anyone experience Youtube app running at 60 fps? - OnePlus 11

Hi, I have a problem with the Youtube app. The app seems to run at 60 or lower than 120Hz.
Do you have anyway to solve this problem?

Last time around, the fix is by turning off "Logger Buffer Size" in Developer Options

Not that i aware of. But just to mind you, even if you manage to get 120, by the time it playing video, it will revert back to 60. 120 is only for the UI

Yes, the youtube app or website videos will play only at 60 fps!

It's because the video uploaded by user itself is 60fps. So 120Hz on Youtube is kinda pointless after all.

Does the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) supports 60fps on YouTube ?

Hello,
Does the screen of the A3 2017 can run videos at 60fps ? I know already that it can't take videos at this refresh rate but can it just display it ?

YouTube Vanced 2160p60HDR playback is very stuttery with too many frame drops

https://drive.google.com/file/d/10lGieXYspI_xzBzyoDSYgJh0yomdLpVU/view?usp=drivesdk
Check the stats for nerds near the end of the screen recording for details. 1440p60HDR and below resolutions work perfectly fine both in stretched out and normal modes but as soon as 2160p60HDR is turned on, video frames start to drop and the playback becomes very laggy/stuttery. I'm using the default codec in 'codec override'. I've tried pixel and samsung codecs but the res. is limited to 1080p max. Is there any workaround for 4k60 or do I have to live with 1440p?
Vanced version: Official 14.21.54 Black
MIUI Version - 10.4.4 Stable
why would you need 2k60 and 4k60 video playback ?

4k60 by itself is really heavy. Even my PC with 1050Ti cant handle them

I have a 1050Ti too and my ****ty A10 7890k has literally zero problems running 8k60 (yes you heard it correctly - "8k60") without any O.C. It's not that my n8pro can't play 4k60 at all, there is definitely a bug or something which is keeping it from delivering adequate frames at appropriate frame times. So as per my analysis, the first few frames (~150-250 frames) are rendered at buttery smooth 60fps (which is only like 2-4 secs) but the rest 500-800 frames are very stuttery. I wanna know why this happens.

60fps or 50fps

I was searching for some mods for this phone (Samsung Galaxy a30s EU DISTRIBUTION) to get 50 or 60 fps video recording working. Ideally 1080p, but 720p is also fine. I didn't find anything working. I looked into the slow motion mode, and on the preview, I saw 720p60fps. So it must be possible to do it in normal speed. Any ideas? Thanks. PS: I was able to do it on my old 12MP redmi note 4, so it must be possible on this guy.
What do you mean 60fps ??? On video recording ????

I See that the normal camera from Samsung does 30fps at 1080p and 720p. I have tested a few apps that might support 60fps at 720p or 1080p. But no luck i have tried quite a few apps. Either the app stops working. Or it gives you a error that 60fps is not supported. I have tried 5 diffrent versions of Google Camera Modded. Open Camera ( This app says its not supported cause you can select at which fps to shoot at) and MX camera which also just allowed me to to shoot at 30fps only (Matter in fact it shot at 21 fps not 30fps)
Ok nvm I will just buy a GoPro
HedgeCam maxed out at 1440x1080 60fps. You can also change the bitrate but I haven't compared the quality yet.
Exact settings

Can you tell me your exact settings? I downloaded the official hedgecam 2 from the play store, set 1440x1080 and 60 fps, frame rate not supported. If I enabled camera api 2, it just records it on 30 fps. Can you tell me the exact settings of your cam? Thanks in advance.

yup
use (any) VPN to bypass 480p restrictions
It will automatically start you out in 480p but you should be able to switch to a higher resolution manually. I just checked a video and was able to put it at 1080p.
May be 480p was set automatically try to change the resolution manually... if it don't work then check for Youtube updates. Update it may be Youtube too may have some bugs..
Cheers!

Reboot your phone.
If you want to keep it, you can try autojs(or other auto apps)to run this when start up.
Personally i find 60 fps good for everything else.
the automatic detection switches to 120 fps mode when I go into games, which is exactly what I want.
Having the phone run at 120 fps all the time drains too much battery.
