Aftermarket display & digitizer issues - OPPO A52 Questions & Answers

Hoi everyone, i have a question and looking for a solution. After cracking my glass and replacing a aftermarket display&digitizer, an issue accured. The screen goes black after a while and i cant start up using the On an Off switch. The phone is still working i can feel fibration using the volume and on and of button. Sometimes i can use the display and of the sudden it truns black. I have to disconnect the battery and start up again.
I tried solving any proximity issues as the phone seems to use the camera when unlocking the screen . You can see a blue ring around the camera when pressing the button but it stops there. Then i went to disable all sensors. No help there. Last i switch of the use of the lock screen. It did help the phone can can be used for a few hours but then goes black again.
any explanations to why this happens and any solutions?
thank you in advance
best regards Vincent

Screen blacking out on CM7 and Froyo Roms

Hi there,
I experience a weird problem with my Defy that noone else seems to have.
Sometimes my Defy just won't come back from Standby, the Screen stays black. The Touchbuttons at the bottom get luminated if I press the On/Off button, and you can see that the backlight of the screen works as the screens turn into a lighter shade of dark ( ), but still the screen stays black. I know that the phone stays on, as I get haptic feedback by long pressing the Off button.
I had my phone at datrepair for the issue and it came back with a standard Froyo (DACH Retail), but as soon as I flash to other Roms like CM7 or other Froyo builds, voila there it is, screen blacking out from time to time.
Until now I didn't find anyone with that problem, but perhaps any of you guys knows a solution for that problem, as I'm very keen to use CM7, since the Rom is just fabolous. I just don't have the nerves to solve the black screen by removing the battery and inserting it back again every single time it turns up...
Thanks in advance for any help.

[Q] Cyanogenmod 10 - during a call that extends ~5mins, proximity sensor doesn't work

Device: S3 with CM10
Basically the title says it all. During the first few minutes of a call, I usually have no problem moving the phone from the face and then seeing the screen light up. However, after ~5 mins on the phone, if I move the phone away from my face to hang up or something, the screen doesn't light up at all. I tried wiping the sensors on the top with my clothes, fingers, anything, but the screen still stays off. Only after I press the power button or home key does the screen turn back on.
I tried googling this but haven't found any answers.
Thanks in advance, you guys rock btw.
EDIT: Is it possible this has to do with the Sleep settings? Additionally, what is sleep? I'm confused about that too.

US Cellular-G4-Replaced screen, turns on but black screen.

I replaced my screen and digitizer(without frame). Everything went smooth and seamlessly but when I turn the phone on, the LED lights like normal, it vibrates like normal, but there is nothing on the screen (acts like the screen isn't even installed?) After the phone boots I can hit the volume buttons and it interacts with my actions (sound and vibration). I got the assembly thru Fixez.com. just looking for general knowledge, answers or any other circumstances like that. Thank you!
Maybe cable not completely inserted into connector? Take it apart again, use a pencil eraser to lightly clean the cable contacts and reinsert. If you can, try to power the phone while its apart to see if it lights up. If still doesn't work, I'd contact the seller about a possible replacement.
I have tried the eraser idea yet but I taken it apart a couple time to double check the connections and everything. Can't have it replaced or sent back either. Already looked into that. I know im out the money for that screen if it never works but im just trying to understand why it wouldn't work.
Got the phone working and I'm using it right now. Ended up getting a screen and frame assembly. So now the only issue I'm finding is that it doesn't like to turn on when the room is dark. I checked the sensors and they are all working except the proximity sensor says "Near" all the time.

Lg g3 screen stays black after reboot, but responds to touch

My wife's phone looked completely dead this morning, so I pulled the battery and then rebooted. The led did its usual start up pulse but the screen remained black.
Double tapping to wake, then tapping the centre of the screen where login field is, then tapping where the keyboard is, results in haptic feedback, but the screen never turns on from black.
Tried holding down + power to boot into recovery, but no idea if it works. No response from the screen.
Anything I can try? :crying:

Its the faulty motherboard chipset issue, same as me.
Take the phone apart and place a piece of plastic or something on top of the display ribbon connector underneath the battery. That solved this problem for me.
Seems to occur because the board in the g3 has too much space to flex etc in general usage.

confusing screen burn-in/flickering (first post woohoo)

Hello. This is my first thread, I have downloaded maybe hundreds of ROM's from this site, have read thousands of threads and of course bricked a few phones lmao. Now I am here with a REALLY confusing problem. Without further ado, let's dive in. sry for my bad english btw.
I bought a second hand S9 today. The guy whom I bought the device told me, when he turns off the screen of the device by pressing the power button, black and green lines appear when he turns on again, and after a few seconds, when he turns the screen back on by pressing the power button, the problem disappears he told. I think he said there is a problem in the part called screen flex. (I ain't sure what that is, I need info about that too.) Sorry if you're confused this far, cuz more is coming thru
I got a very useful APK file named "OLED/AMOLED Saver" and installed it on my device, it worked really well and the lines were almost invisible anymore. After a few hours of use, what I noticed was even more confusing. I activated the AoD (Always on Display) feature, coincidentally, while testing the screen, when I locked the device by pressing the power button and the clock appeared on the AoD screen, when I turned on the screen in that way, I noticed that the screen did not burn in as if it was brand damn new. But if I don't wait for the AoD screen to show up and immediately press the power button again, the screen turns on completely and something really, really terrible appears, a mixture of black and green. Now let's come to my questions, I've blown your mind a lot I think.
1- Can anyone explain what's going on here?
2- Is the problem in the screen flex or is it purely software? (AoD thing)
3-Is there anyone who has experienced this and was able to completely solve the problem?
Thank you for spending your precious time. Hope I get a solution..
Hello, I have same problem with my old S9, it seems that is fully hardware issue, as a workaround you can set full brightness - it causes this issue to appear less frequently and another option is cooling down the phone - when display is black/green just lock the screen and put your phone to the freezer for a while - it will work properly until it heats again
Its something about an update made by Samsung https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5...t-bars-black-screen-issue/td-p/1745470/page/4
