Nord N10 5G BE2028 showing Snapdragon 750g????? - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Guides, News, & Discussion

Just picked this phone up from Tmobile on the 5th, CPU-Z shows it has the 750g vs the 690(which is in the just released Nord CE). Is this accurate? Maybe due to the global shortage they used other hardware on hand?
Here's the CPUZ link:

For me it was the 690

The Oneplus Nord CE comes with the 750G

That is reallllly weird kay,
Um they dont make a n10 with that chipset.
I think you are lucky enough to get a better processor but idk why you got a 750G instead of a 690
The Oneplus Nord CE 5G ships with the 750G
So you kind of got an upgrade in a phone that shouldnt have it

Have you tried any other validators just to cross reference if its true?
What does it say in About Phone

You are the first one that this has happened to, I haven’t seen a oneplus nord n10 get a snapdragon 750g...
I wonder how t-mobile had a 750g version of the n10....

CPUZ is wrong.
My Metro N10(several months old) also reported 750G on CPUZ
aida64 detects 690G correctly.

It is the 690 not 690g

You must mean 690 5G?

I always thought the CPU was 690G, like 730G 765G
but actually it's called 690(5G).
Anyway cpuz is wrong aida64 is correct.

They're not the same gpu somehow. 690 gets the 619L while the 750 gets the 619.
Honestly the only difference between the two is the dsp.

We're talking about the same thing, I just elaborated on why they're considered different.
Makes sense that they're about borderline though considering the 750 is just the 690 With support for the X52 5g.

[Q] Which processor really are in Tab S ? (8.4 and 10.5)

According to the info appearing at Samsung, TAB S tablet has an "octa core processor", there is no reference about type or model. or brand.
Info appering at PDADB is:
SM-T705 , SM-T705C, SM-T705M and SM-T705Y: all have Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5420
SM-T805, SM-T805C, SM-T805Y: all have Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5420
SM-T805K, SM-T805L, SM-T805S: all have Samsung Exynos 5 Octa 5433
This forum says about TAB S : Qualcomm Snapdragon 800
I live in Colombia, we have here models T705M and T805M.
A local vendor says both models mount an "Adonis Prime+ XMM7160" processor
Can anybody clarify this mess ? are there really different processors for same model ? if so, are there any performance difference between those processors ?
Thanks,
Update:
It seems "Adonis Prime" is an alias for Exynos 5420.
Yeah, It`s a right mess different cpu for different markets and configurations.
Even the Samsung website for my region only gives the cpu speed and quad or octo core, but not a brand or model number, octo is normally exynos and quad is snapdragon at the moment.
Best to check with the supplier before purchasing if you want a certain model of cpu.
Never heard of the "Adonis Prime+ XMM7160" processor" will have to do a search, EDIT: Intel modem soc ??? see link below.
Some Samsung android tablets use Intel atom cpu, but normally the low priced choices.

Practically you will have a 5420 CPU in all but a couple of ones, the 807 AT&T etc ones. So expect the 5420 almost certainly. Watch out your local vendor has genuine stock, exynos with intel mobile chip is what you will get if genuine.
That quote seems wrong a bit wrong with me.

Thanks for your answers.
From the info I got since yesterday, it seems:
1. Exynos 54xx series is called also "Adonis":
One source (there are several similar): http://tech2yantra.blogspot.com/2014/04/are-you-getting-real-galaxy-s5-latest.html
2. XMM7160 is a modem LTE chip (from Intel):
Source: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us...e-communications/mobile-xmm-7160-1-brief.html
With this info, I guess the vendor is really very precise: Adonis Prime + (plus) XMM7160 are really the chips used by a Galaxy Tab S. (CPU + LTE modem).
It could be a little confusing because the name "Adonis" is not quoted normally (I found several quotes to "Adonis" in S5 in sites from Romania, Russia, India, etc)
What do you think about this "interpretation" ?
They do all these study's on what names and words work in different country's, some words that are fine in the west, might be offensive in some country's as they mean different things.
It certainty is confusing, so stop using words and use number, but not 666, 13, 7777 where does it end.

CPU-Z is buggy or my phone has a thing?

Question Which mobile soc can be overclocked (cpu and gpu ) at higher frequencies and voltages than advertised ? and which devices can or can’t ?

I thought that nearly every android device that’s rooted can be overclocked using a custom kernel and app that allow it , but I found out that the poco f3 gpu can’t be overclocked and if so there is minimal improvement because of Qualcomm trust zone , I know that the sd870 is already an overclocked 865+ which in itself is an overclocked 865 and that overclocking produces more heat but I’m planning on doing a custom cooling solution for it , and I don’t even know about the cpu , I know that someone managed to overclock sd865 and beat 888 , so why isn’t it possible , is the problem with Qualcomm or Xiaomi , if it’s with Qualcomm what other mobile SOCs can be overclocked ? if it’s with Xiaomi what other devices even tablets that have sd 870 that can be overclocked ? Thank you !
when people talk about overclock, its mostly about the gpu.
The sd870's prime core of cpu is overclocked than that of the sd 865.
the gpu of the sd870 was locked by trust zone, so, it can be overclocked to a limit. (Max 683 MHz)
Some lucky guys have an unlocked sd870, where they can overclock their gpu and even reach 1000 MHz if they want.
sd865 was not locked by trust zone and thus can be overlocked up to 985 MHz
its not related to xiaomi
Keep in mind, if you do manage to overclock, it is best to have a cooler when reaching these overclock levels

So it is impossible to overclock the cpu of any mobile processor ?
is the sd865 the last processor that can be overclocked and wasn’t locked by trust zone ?
can you provide the link of the 1000 MHz gpu overclock ? Thank you !

You can undervolt at the same time. My 870 is unlocked. I overclocked it and undervolted. So I manage more power but with less heat and consumption.

ofcourse but water cooling is overkill
there are mobile fan coolers that have a thermoelectric peltier that should do the trick but make sure that it has that peltier, a normal fan wouldnt cool well
sd888 locked is better than sd870 locked
sd888 unlocked is better than sd870 unlocked
sd870 unlocked is better than sd888 locked
same with 8gen1
The only reason a locked sd870 is better than 8gen1 in prolonged gaming is because the default clocks of the 8gen1 is higher than that of the sd870, so, more heat is generated.
Most phones will start throttling at 45°C battery temperature, so, the 8gen1 will reach that temperature faster than the sd870
Thank you so much for your help ! I think I’m going to opt for the 865 but I preferably want a tablet for gaming , and so far the only 2 tablets I found were : Huawei (it doesn’t have play store ) and Samsung tab s7 , can samsung devices even be overclocked?

i hate samsung, they keep complicating things with root and bootloader. The last samsung i had was android 7.0, so, i dont know much about samsung.
i recommend an 8gb or more ram, i have a 6gb and it is starting to be more than 80% used most of the time
Ok thank you , do you have any other suggestion (tablet or smartphone) equipped with 865 that can be oc to 950 MHz

What do you think the best smartphone brand is , in terms of overclocking and 120 fps support for games even if the phone doesn’t natively support 120 fps in all games , in which brand you can unlock the fps after rooting and overclock the 865 to 950 MHz ?
best brand in general is samsung but if you want to root and overclock, definitely dont choose samsung.
The only brands i have ever tried was samsung and xiaomi (Galaxy note 5 and xiaomi poco f3)
I know that Mi10T can be overclocked to 950, idk any other phones, im not well versed in this area.
When it comes to supporting 120 fps on all apps, as long as you are rooted, any phone will do, you can just change model name or use gltools

Question [Q][SOLVED] is our phone really slow

sd778g benchmark shows better result than kirin 990 4g , but in real life , my mate 30 way more smooth and perform lots faster than mi 11 lite 5g ne , mate 30 kirin 990's difference is really far ahead .
Snapdragon 778G vs Kirin 990 (4G): tests and benchmarks
We put Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G against HiSilicon Kirin 990 (4G) to find out which SoC is better. See performance comparison in benchmarks and games.

Their performances are similar.
Perhaps it's the roms that make differences. MIUI is quite heavy, you can make Mi 11 Lite NE smoother by installing a minimal ROM likte LineageOS.
