and how i can update eu.xiaomi stable to stable with keep root ? what is the best way? no data loser plz....

Xiaomi.eu. No informations about MiuiMix rom/team. Looks shadow. I would not trust them.

MiuiMix is a slightly modified version of the current firmware from xiaomi.eu
FAQ about MiuiMix
TWRP (by Nebrassy) and Magisk (current is 23 canary version) are pre-added to the MiuiMix firmware, which makes it very convenient and easy to install and use.

Preadded stuff can be modified as well I guess. Making it even more shadowed, especially for not open source project

I highly doubt it and I would not do it. Like any other rom. Clean install between each rom.

Relax dude, they are not some new developers. If you think pre-built stuff can be modified, then don't even install any custom roms. Atleast somebody would have found virus in MMX until now if there is any. There are many other roms based on xiaomi.eu and people still install them.

Where am I not relaxed? Lol
I know they are not new. Still, everything is closed and poor infos on them. So better warn new comers about that.
The game is not worth it as we say.
Just one or two guys here are advertising for MMix, where you have to go and find infos.
And it's not because some (few) people install those roms that it's ok, that's the unsecure thing to think.
Anyway do as you wish.

There are many other such as OneOS , MiuiHellas, MiuiGreek, MiGlobe, EliteRom, PremiOS, MiuiVN, etc.
MiuiMix is atleast more trusted than the other xiaomi.eu based roms.

If you are so afraid for security, then you cannot use firmware based on MIUI at all. Any official MIUI firmware from Xiaomi contains a bunch of adware, spyware for marketing purposes, a lot of useless software, and so on.

MiGlobe was best. I was using it in my last 3 devices but they abandoned the project last year. No info why. But it was more customized eu rom. So now i have to move to eu rom.
Miuipro was also great but they changed it to paid rom .

Why are there no custom ROMs for Mi Max3?

Hi, I am still waiting for the the unlock but thought that in the meanttime of the 30 days there will be a first custom ROM.
Is there a reason why there is none and will there be one in nearly future or did I bought the wrong phone?
Don't want to use miui or Google.
Yes, we don't have any developers currently. I've got this phone since September and nothing changed.
Fortunately we got xiaomi.eu and magisk after bootloader unlock. With few tweaks, and launcher change to Nova it's pretty decent phone.
For custom ROMs you should go poco/ Oneplus/ pixels
All treble ROMs should work plenty of choose from there
But every treble rom has few issues and none of them works in 100%. If Max 3 is your daily phone stick to xiaomi.eu is better idea.

False. It is the eu who can't run 100% because it is still MIUI = too many restrictions. After applying the patches on treble, it's way better than eu.

Hmmm... That depends on what you need.
Many are using havoc 10/27 on top of eu 8.11.15. But I personally use Pixel Dust 11/14 on top of eu 8.11.15. Havoc has a lot more custom features than PD.
On the other hand, if MIUI framework doesn't bother you, and you can do all the things that you want and need on your phone, I suggest you stick to EU.

I've been using MSM Xtended on my Mi Max 2 for ages and loved the performance & battery optimisation. I'm currently on the below eu and wanted to make sure I don't run into any ARB problems. What's the difference between 10.0.0.6.0 and the eu ones you mentioned?
Also what customs would be closest to Xtended?

I've used that eu before i moved to 8.11.15. both are arb triggered so no risk there. The 8.11.15 is more updated than 10.0.6.0 but they are from different branch, 10.0.6 is in stable while 8.11.15 is in dev/beta. You can flash the eu dev on top of eu stable without issue.
I think the havoc is the most customizable treble there is right now. You might want to check it out and compare to your msm xtended.

Are the specific install guides for Pixel or Havoc, the ones that are found under the XDA MM3 Guides section or are they found in other forums?

Latest MIUI version? - is Xiaomi.EU good?

Well, i recently bought this phone, already applied to unlock bootloader but i have to wait a week, so in the meantime i'm learning about roms based on xiaomi and custom roms...
My main concern is, i'm running MIUI Global 11.0.3 | Stable | 11.0.3(PCOIDXM) with security patch from 2020-01-01. I saw other guys with newers MIUI versions than mine, so i found about Xiaomi.EU, i read it is the best MIUI rom but i would like to get some recommendations...
Also, my main objective is to get an stable rom with good battery usage, having root and maybe install xposed with magisk but this last is not that important.
I 'm also confused about if when i charge Xiaomi EU to my phone will it keep receiving OTA? or what should i do in case i want to go back and be able to receive OTA?
Las question is, i found this site https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/20-3-19.54975/ and the last version is xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote8_20.3.19_v11-9.zip, is it compatible with all variants of Xiaomi RN8?, i found that there are 2 RN8 versions, a Global Version and an Indonesian version, comparing MIUI version i think i have and indonesian version, does the variant is important in case i want to use xiaomi eu?
Ohh, i see a did a lot of question but i post this in the hope that you guys can help this newbie to tweak his RN8

Actually RN8 has not 2 but 4 versions; Global, Chinese, Indonesian and Indian.
You can use it on any RN8 unlocked version no matter regions, it's set to global.
Since years I'm using Xiaomi.eu ROMs and over other MIUI based ROMs it's way better, great battery performance.
This ROM ever has the latest security patch updates cause is built over the Chinese version.
And regarding OTA updates; Xiaomi.eu ROMs have weekly updates.
What about the Dialer and Messaging apps? Is it the stock MIUI one or the Google ones?

honestly it doesn't have the latest security patch versions....they use old ones and advertise newest....latest beta version for example use security patches from September and they change it in build.prop so that in phone settings it says latest march/april whatever security patch...following are the two lines :
Code:
ro.build.version.security_patch=
ro.build.version.security_patch_real=

Apart from the weekly securtiy patches, is it any better than the indian rom (11.0.3) for the note 8?
Secondly, is the Indian version really behind in software updates from the global version (in terms of changes and security patches) or is it just the numbering of the versions different?

Well like I mentioned in my previous replies, you won't get any weekly patches or monthly patches for that matter...EU uses september security patch and changes build.prop so that it appears latest in phone settings...among other things it is better than stock rom (indian, global, etc etc) as it's debloated, optimized, deodexed and tweaked a lil bit..also it has all features included in china roms every week so that is cool...it also has all ads removed...although I debloat more..sure you can debloat and do everything else on your indian rom too but you have to wait for stable builds for long and you gotta repeat the debloating all over again everytime you update...
regarding difference between indian and global...mainly it is the miui apps on indian rom and google apps on global..also a bit of themes and stuff on indian and wifi calling on global...rest it's all same....don't go on the numbering of versions too much...it's all the same with a bit of this and that difference like I said.

Can confirm this ROM is better than the stock. But don't build it with magisk, it bootlooped for me, just flash it after. The beta seems to have new features to, such as when installing apps, you get options to clear cache or delete the APK file if it's sideloaded. You also need orangefox recovery, didn't work with twrp when I tried.

Xiaomi.eu

Hey guys,
Tempted to install the Xiaomi EU ROM as I've heard it is very good for battery and performance. I have a few questions with regards to updates however. Does xiaomi.eu support OTA updates after the first flash, does it support major software update flashes OTA without the need to wipe data, and does it work with custom recoveries? I have orangeFox downloaded right now but I can change to TWRP.
Thanks
EDIT: Just flashed Lineage, then Arrow, then dotOS, prefer Dot out of the 3, great ROM would reccomend.

Coming from F2 Pro EU ROM it wasn't OTA updates, you needed to manually download and flash via TWRP. That could be different with OrangeFox as we only had TWRP on F2. Even when flashing manually you didn't need to wipe even when going from A10 to A11 as long as you kept on Stable route or the weekly route (I went stable)
I'm tempted by this device since mi-globe ROM is since ca. a week also available. It is based on xiaomi.eu Builds but you can customize the build by removing a bunch of MIUI apps (BugReport, Browser, Weather, Email, LiveWallpaper, File-Explorer) and block the Xiaomi Sync Daemon. See mi-globe FAQ.
I would be interested on any reports and feedbacks of xiaomi.eu or mi-globe users on this device compared to the Stock ROM , I'm particularly interested in the Cam performance (Stock ANX and/or GCam builds).

Thx, I also prefer clean fast CustomROMs over Stock in general, but thaught that at this stage gauguin has not yet such stable daily driver cROMs and until that I would go with xiaomi.eu/mi-globe - without at least those I would not buy a Xiaomi device.
For Custom ROMs I prefer those with Signature Spoofing Support and particularly like crDroid. If I order this device (depends if RN10 Pro does not become more interesting soon) I guess I have to try out by myself Nice to see the community growing here.
EDIT: Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is rumored to have Snapdragon 768G, Amoled, 108 Mpx - so definitely will wait if it gets that and will be availanle at a price point under Mi 10T Lite and will soon get Custom ROMs.

Question [CLOSED] Best custom ROM?

Hello guys. I'm looking for best official custom ROM for my POCO F3. I'm planning to use it daily, so I want stable ROM without any BIG bugs. Can you tell me which ROM is best at this moment? (Your opinion). Thank you and sorry for bad English
I'd recommend the recommended. The mother rom (Xiaomi EU). [EU has nothing to do with europe]. It has the latest official Xiaomi rom features. Basically what Xiaomi updates comes directly to you through this rom (with pack of other features)

The thing is you need to know what suits you the most and feel comfortable with. You can check the ones available here labeled as [Development].
I hope the guys here give you more intels of which could be the beat custom rom besides custom MIUI
Right now, hands down the best rom would be Arrow OS. Been using it for a couple of days now and the smoothness and experience is on next level.
I was previously using stable and then weekly EU rom.

Havoc was the first Custom ROM for the F3, which didn't include GAPPS by default - so I gave it a try...
After many years of pure LOS/CyanogenMod, I am now running Havoc 4.5 on both the Poco F1 and F3. And it works great on both devices!
HentaiOS works fine to me :v I'm staying on it till any custom with working OTA comes up

That's banned on XDA. It's also not open source . As a havoc contributor I'm biased to havoc however most of the ROMs use the same device source and so are all stable. I think ArrowOS may be the most stable at the moment but I don't have a problem daily driving Havoc

Havoc was the first Custom ROM for the F3, which didn't include GAPPS by default - so I gave it a try...
After many years of pure LOS/CyanogenMod, I am now running Havoc 4.5 on both the Poco F1 and F3. And it works great on both devices!

I just received my F3 and I am on the mandatory 7-day waiting period to unlock.
F1 is my current phone, running Havoc 4.5, and I want to install Havoc on the F3 too.
Did you notice any major bugs on the F3 version?
I know it's still too early for all features to be added, but -for example-, is 120hz refresh rate available as an option?
Thank you.

yes.
The only bug I faced so far is the adaptive charging: it does not work on official build (it did on unofficial ). But I'm not a 24/7 smartphone user and I don't run games on it.

ArrowOS is supporting OTA. I feel it's the most stable and snappiest of the current AOSPs. Light and fast, without a bunch of features I don't really need

Question [Poco F3][MIU13] Why no custom ROMs are using the latest firmware from MIUI ?

Hi, I've seen most ROMs recommend firmware from MIUI 12.5.x and not the latest is there any reason for that ? Does the latest firmware could break something ? Or lead to weird bugs/new bugs ?
A11 miui based roms have hit their end of life for the most part (12.5.19) almost all the bugs have been worked out and is very stable. Imo, as well as many others, the A12 based miui roms are sometimes if not always missing import features such as face unlock (at the time of writing this). The A12 based roms, imo, are not the most stable roms for the poco f3 atm (I've tried both, and ended up sticking to 12.5.19 xiaomi EU stable)

Additionally, if you look at the Firmware Updater thread the Global firmware is still 12.5.x.

Oh interesting so we're kind of a lab test for the new firmware in EEA, I thought China would have been the test case first and then they would deploy it to others ROMs (Indian, EEA, Global, etc.) once it is stable enough

They did; China got MIUI 13 before EEA.
