Always Delayed Software Updates

Hi guys, is it just me or is there something wrong with my unit?
This phone was bought from Dubai and now brought it here in the Philippines. I was wondering how samsung pushes it's monthly regional updates because right now I am currently stuck at BRE6 update with May 1st of security patch.
I am seeing lots of posts that they got the new update already while Im still clueless when will the update for me would come. Im starting to think of, maybe it is because the phone was moved from Dubai to Philippines? If not, please enlighten me.
Right now, what Im doing is go manual flashing all the time when an update is out. But downloading from sammobile is really sick because it limits my download speed really hard...
How about you? Do you manually flash updates through odin too or you get the update through OTA?
Regards.

Whatever you read about Samsung's monthly updates just isn't going to happen. I read that article that stated that they were committed to monthly updates but they haven't followed up on that. I've been getting my updates through OTA but have only had one since I purchased the phone and it's the June 1 2018 update.
I get USA OTA updates and mine is currently on August 1 security patch. I wish we would get more timely Android updates -- still on 8.0.0.
I received one OTA on Canadian firmware (g960w) but I quickly switched to 960u firmware since it's much faster for security.

update locked to july 2018

Hi everyone. in the last days I spent a bit of time to try to understand why my samsung galaxy s9 didn't received the adroid pie update, and from this search I found just more doubts. INFO: I have an S9 dual sim coral blue, bought by an italian online shop in october 2018, model code SM-G960F, android version 8.0.0.
basically, no one can understand if my device is italian or german (most of the people I talk with says german), and the update are locked to july 2018. I never received an update for my device, neither a security patch, and now that more than one month was past by the official italian pie release, I'm worried about this. I'm asking everywhere to try to understand why I don't receive update and how can I do to fix this problem, but no one can answer to me. I hope someone here knows the solution.
thanks in advance to everyone.

No Software update since Feb 2019?

Hi everyone,
I am not sure if some of you had a similar issue, but I have not received any update for my A50 purchased in April 2019.
The phone was bought in Italy but I am based in the UK. It has never received an OTA update either over the UK network or over the ITA network. Also no update is available via Smart Switch.

I am aware that a number of updates were released this year, so I wanted to ask you guys if any of you had the same experience as me, and if there is a way to receive them on my unit.
Thanks all
Enzo
This is probably because of your device's original country does not receive the updates. The only real solution is install another firmware that has got updates.
I bought the device on March 25, the day of its launch in the Czech Republic. Since then, it has received six updates, mostly with major improvements in functionality. Updating the device firmware is therefore very important! In your case, I would try to install "Smart Switch" on my computer and update my phone with it. If you are unsuccessful, please contact Samsung support in your country.

I contacted Samsung support and they told me to wait, but it's November and I've never received a single update yet. Nothing on Smart Switch either.
Shall I look for manually flash a firmware? Do you have any experience with it in terms of future OTA updates?
Thanks again
i guess you could download rom from sammobile(official rom) and flash with odin. Just be careful to download PROPER version for your samsung model..

Sprint/T-mobile Galaxy S20 Ultra Software Baseband Incorrect

UPDATE AS OF FEBRUARY 22, 2021:
There are serious communication problems between Sprint/T-Mobile and Samsung Technicians regarding software build and Baseband versions or just a complete lack of knowledge. As a consumer, I have received many conflicting responses from the Technicians on both sides that's incorrect! Sam Mobile cleared up my questions regarding the software and Baseband versions released by Sprint.
I took my phone to Samsung's preferred UBreakiFixIt store and after 5 hours, I was told that they couldn't flash my phone with the Samsung, T-mobile or Sprint software. I contacted Sprint and after 1 hour, the technician said that my phone has Sprints latest update and to look for future updates. However, Sam Mobile lists Sprints latest January 1, 2021 update as: G988......CUA4 posted on February 5, 2021.
At this point, Sprint customers with a Galaxy S20 Ultra running the G988....CTL1 security update from December 1, 2020 must wait for Sprint to release the January 1, 2021 security update!
Please respond if you've already received the January 1, 2021 security update from Sprint for your Galaxy S20 Ultra and disregard my post below. Thanks!
In January 2021, I received the December 1, 2020 security update from Sprint/T-mobile. I noticed the different software update version numbers listed in the What's New section after installing the update, but didn't think much about it until I couldn't download the January 1, 2021.
I checked the T-mobile website and learned that the Galaxy S20 Ultra had to have Baseband version (Located in the About Phone section under Software) G988U........CTL1 in order to receive the next security update. Unfortunately, Sprint/T-Mobile installed Baseband version G988U.....CUA3 on my phone. I checked the link to Samsung to review the software updates that were installed on my phone and they have the latest updated version as: G988U....CUA4 which is not installed on my phone!
I contacted both Sprint/T-Mobile and Samsung and they decided to point fingers at each other because the CUA3/CUA4 software updates don't exist, they aren't valid according to their Techs. But Sprint/T-Mobile installed the security update OTA in January. See attachments.
I understand that I need to have my phone reflashed with the original One UI 3.0 OS 11 software in order to receive future software updates.
