How to use tools for IMEI repair of Oneplus Nord N100 - OnePlus Nord N100 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I am not much of a professional but have basic knowledge about variety of things. Recently I got a Oneplus Nord N100 phone which had same IMEI on both slots and those were different from the one on the phone box. I went through google and found that we can do it with tools such as UMT, Hydra Tool etc. So i downloaded them but when i open I get Smartbox not installed and dongle not connected like errors. I searched for the answers but couldn't get any.
Currently the phone has
Android:10.5.8 (Rooted with Magisk).
I cannot use my sim because of the same IMEI which is invalid. I want to know how i can use these tools and how I can fix such errors which are arising when i open these tools. I am really broke and there is no chance i am changing my phone anytime soon. Phone has OEM and bootloader unlocked too with TWRP recovery installed.
Kindly help me out on this one.
Thanks

UMT, Hydra Tool need a dongle which you need to purchase from the reseller. Usually Mobile service technicians buy these boxes and they are expensive to use on a single phone. Ask a nearby mobile service center for the solution.

I also was looking for it ....
Greetings;
As far as i know there is 2 ways to unlock it.
1) (Paid) Get a online service (Ebay for Example); nearby store or your service provider to do it.
2) Search Google for a Software called "QCOM" (I don't remember the exact name)
I've downloaded several versions; tried hard to get this software working; but with no luck.
Also; seems like unbranding this device won't work.
this QCOM or OMAP is a cracked software of furious box, i have this box, but without OMAP software activated. who have this box with activated pack of this soft, can unlock this phone.
br
So what you mean is that it is necessary to have the "box" and to activate the software Right?
Well, after reading this post i've done another attempt.
The instructions don't mention anything about the pack; or activation.
Only:
"ACER S100 Liquid/LiquidE E310 Liquid Mini UNLOCKING GUIDE
NOTE: HOW TO INSTALL DRIVERS AND UNLOCK
1. PRESS VOLUME DOWN + CAMERA AND INSERT USB CABLE FOR S100
2. FOR E310 CONNECT PHONE IN NORMAL MODE
3. DOWNLOAD AcerLiquidDrivers.zip / Driver_E310.rar FROM SUPPORT AND INSTALL
4. START AMDO AND PRESS UNLOCK "
After opening AMDO; i get a message saying: "there are no card readers".
I guess that's the reason it doesn't work
br
yes furious box with activated pack 5 http://www.furiousgold.com/ me i have this box with only pack1, 2, and 3. not the 5.
Well, it's quite expensive to unlock my device only.
It's not that i need it atm, i was trying more to know how to do it.
I guess the best option is to take the device to Service Provider or a Store which does such service.
Thanks;
BR
of course, you can't buy the box to unlock your phonr only, i have this box and many boxes cause it's my job
i can unlock this phone, send me pm if interested
thanks for the info
Also looking for way to unlock an E310 locked by French Telco SFR (on RedBySfr),
I updated fimware to latest ACER release, and rooted it, then what ?

Factory tools & Service tools

Factory tools & Service tools of DVP, including all image files and part of source code.
somebody may be insterested in it.
NOTE.
These tools can ONLY work with FTM unlocked factory test rom now, it's NOT for phone repair usage.
If your phone was bricked, the tools will not help you.
So these tools are only for developpers now.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Most of functions are require FTM mode, but I'd never succeed in boot my phone into FTM mode.
Service tools can be switched from 'Service Center mode' to 'Factory mode' by modifying the ini config file.
The Factory tools seems to compact with both dell venue and venue pro, beacuse the ADB dll is included in the tools(and in the source code)
Sure its needed!
Can you share it for me. Was looking for it for a long time!
Thank you.
If it's able to individially flash the firmware binaries, what are the odds the V's would be compatable?
The bootloader is one of the bigger software differences from V <-> VP, if the V's booted on it you could install android on it (and hypothetically vice-versa)
Also: what is SWV 935? The newest known SWV is 219.
I'd be interested too for historical purposes
now there are service tools + factory tools
PM me if you need it
Hi, It shows Dell Generic as an option. Does that mean using this tool / tools one could flash a generic version on say a TMO / ATT locked / unlocked phone and make it a fully generic unlocked phone?
If so this is interesting and would be interested in getting the tools
Anyone has tried this?

HTC One M8 Sim Unlock Code

bought HTC One M8 EE UK phone on ebay, seller said that phone was unlocked, but when I tried to install my Vodafone sim, phone is not accepted it. I thought that any company will unlock it without any problems. but when I have checked IMEI using imei checker option, it showed that phone is hard locked. IMEI is . I've tried around 7 different companies and no one can't get correct unlock code for this phone, some of them even do not gave me refund at all :crying:
Really need to use this phone for phone calls. after some research found some new htc unlocking services where hard locked phones are supported. just want to make sure before purchase, is anyone from forum members used that services before? really don't want to spend money for nothing. please advice.

2. http://www.htconlineunlock.net/

4. http://www.htcfastunlock.com/sim-unlock-m8-hard-locked.php

Which service should I use?
You should never use an unlock service that will not refund your money when unsuccessful. Literally, they can do nothing to get the code and take your money, and say it was "hard locked" or whatever.
Also, your IMEI is personal data, and you should not post your IMEI on open forums. Nothing good can come from that, so please delete your IMEI from your post.
I've seen folks here recommend cellunlocker.net. But I can't vouch for that website personally.
Really, you should also seek remedy through the seller or eBay. The item is not as described, and you should be able to get a refund or exchange.

FWIW, my brother in law successfully unlocked my old htc one m8 that was locked to ATT a couple of days ago using unlockbase.com. Now using on Turkish carrier. Said it cost him ~10 bucks. Good luck.

Is it a stock rom or have you flashed a custom one?
I had to go back from Cyanogenmod 13 as the code didn't work. When I put the stock rom back on it worked first time.
Good luck!

You can use RUU. Or you some custom Sense ROMs will work, if close enough to stock. Or you can restore the stock TWRP backup from the collection sticky to the top of this Q&A forum section.
Or restore you own TWRP backup of stock Sense ROM. Which you should always make before flashing custom ROMs, root, etc. (assuming you didn't buy a used phone with custom ROM on it, and you modded it yourself).

[Q]Help me to unlock LTE B4 on OP3 A3003 (Please)

Hi, this is my first post ^_____^
I live in Argentina, in a trip in Italy I bought that phone, because here in Argentina phones and all technological stuff is really really expansive, my OP3 here is worth 12000AR$ (750€)
My phone hasn't B4, the frecuancy used by all the providers here in Argentina, so i want to unlock it!
I've searched on xda tutorials about how to unlock LTE Bands on qualcomm chipsets but i have a problem
What I already did:
-Unlocked bootloader, root, installed TWRP Recovery
via the toolkit http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
-Installed QPST
-Installed QXDM
Enter in EngineerMode via the code *#801# and actived Rndis, diag switch
Now, OP3 isn't recognized by my pc in diagnostic mode, in device manager I can see that my pc shows it as "Android" with a yellow triangle in the right corner.
I followed this tutorial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-add-rf-lte-frequency-bands-to-t2886059
Should I try with this one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56577252&postcount=455
Should I install a custom kernel like this one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/kernel-t3404970
Help me please xoxoxo, Axel
bump
I also need to unlock the band 4. (I'm in Argentina)
For now I think it's not possible. Read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/help/unlocking-lte-bands-t3425871
I'm in the same situation here.... :| It's incredible. The bad luck I have is... one of a kind.
Guys,
I am trying to do the same thing for mi5 and I think I am close of achieving it. But I need the QCN of an OP3 in order to achieve this. Could you provide me one?
If this method works for mi5, I think could work for OP3. I explain it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68989524&postcount=374
Basically it is what @Azlun did for the Nexus5 and Nexus 6.
Thanks

Error Code: Secure boot 1002 - What should I do? Please help

Dear XDA community
I recently bought a LG G4 from an online retailer. According to their website they said it was a UK model, which according to the back of the phone beneath the battery it is: LGH815. But then after booting the phone the ROM being used was: LGH815T. Then I typed in the IMEI number and found out it was a: Verizon US model??
Basically I am having trouble identifying my model. The phone apparently came unlocked and rooted, but the person who sent it must have done something wrong because when I flashed a TWRP recovery image to the phone it comes up saying: secure boot error code: 1002.
The good thing is, is that I can boot into the device and still operate it as per usual. But what I want to do is bring the recovery back to normal. I was searching around and apparently there are some KDZ files that can be used just to flash the recovery? Is this correct? If so could you assist me in what I have to do to fix my issue which is: secure boot error 1002.
I would really appreciate any help regarding the matter. :crying:
Tried posting photos, but forum would not let me, all they showed was the model numbers.

Use LGUP-NEW ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803 ) to install/flash ... the appropriate stock KDZ for your specific model once you ascertain it (LGUP - NEW may recognize your model and you can use that info to find the right KDZ). You will have to re-root the phone if you still wish to have root.
If you do root, suggest you might want to check out steadfasterX's [LOCKED][G4][TWRP][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP-in-FIsH for all locked G4 devices at: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/locked-twrpinfish-locked-g4-devices-t3573048
It has been tested on locked devices AND unlocked devices. Version 3 Beta 4 and 5 seem very stable and the links are available in the later posts on the site. It works like a charm and has been tested on a quite a number of devices now.
Addendum: I'm wondering if the online retailer may have meant it was carrier unlocked (i.e., so you could use other service provider's sim cards), not bootloader unlocked? That could account for the secure boot error getting TWRP to load.
