Aww

In my jeans/shorts pocket. If I'm home I'll leave it unfolded to decrease wear on the center part of the screen.

Cased and in my pocket I'm wearing

Same for me, until mine arrives. I just hope they don't push the date back again.

in my hand lol

Handbag Or at a push front pocket of jeans

Now that I have this expensive ass phone, I use an over the shoulder satchel-tyoe of bag. I'm not taking ANY chances.

I am used to carrying my 9mm on my utility belt. The phone is nothing in the pocket.

In my jeans pocket

Cool...I have put the silicon case on the Phone so it gives some amount of protection on the edges of the cover screen so I guess the pocket is a good place for carrying it around.

I hang my F3 folded out around my neck.

i think half folded, the device doubles as a fetching hat!!

Stacked on top of my OnePlus 9 Pro in my left front pants pocket.

Front pants pocket.
My wife does the same if she has pockets. Other then that in her small purse. It just sticks out a little.

Funnily i find it easier to carry than my Note 20 Ultra that wore and destroyed several of my pockets.

I put it in a Sunglass pouch & slide it in my pocket

Literally, in the pant or jean pocket. You don't have to wear cargos or a fanny pack. Just fold it shut and drop it into your pocket. I have found it to be a little too heavy for the inner pocket of my suit or blazer, however.

How do you carry your phone when you're walking around?

Just wondering how everybody out there walks around with their phone.
I keep mine in my front pocket, swaddled in a lightweight cloth(obsessive? haha). It also has a TPU case on. No screen protector.

Heh, no way i'm going to put my phone out of reach like in my bag, never know when your phone may grow legs!
Left pocket, no case, screen protector, extended battery.
Otterbox (Commuter) used mostly so I don't sound like a hypocrite when I insist people should buy cases for their phones. Still fits nicely in the front right pocket, even when I'm sitting.
Front right pocket, no screen protector, no case, screen against body.
Front left pocket. No case, screen prot or anything. Like the poster above I have screen facing legs as well.
In the right front pocket of my pants. No screen protector and no case. Looking into buying a case, though.

Spigen Kickstand Danger

Howdy S8/+ owners.
Do not buy the Spigen Ultra Hybrid S kickstand case, and here's why: the kickstand is not secured in a way that prevents it from smashing into the back glass.
It does feel nice in the hand and it looks sweet. But don't buy it:
I fell off of my bike (long sad story short); phone went flying. It landed on its back, and now there's a sizeable kickstand-shaped dent in the back glass, where it was absolutely destroyed by the kickstand on impact.
The case has no mechanism for preventing the kickstand from moving TOWARDS the phone. It only prevents it from falling out.
There's a plastic film on the back surface of the kickstand, but it only functions to prevent scratches.
It feels nice in the hand, but unless you are really buying the case for the convenience of the kickstand and you really need it, I'd stay away.
Pics or it didn't happen.
You fall off your bike with your phone and it breaks. Yeah the case is to blame.... Danger danger! Lol
Does your bike have a kickstand?

Does fit in your pocket?

As the title says: does it still fit in your pocket of your pants?
It fits in my front pocket fine - both jeans and dress pants.
I always have a belt on so I use a holster I can't imagine keeping this phone in my pocket.
It easily fits in my jean pockets.
From time to time I easily carry an iPad mini in my Columbia travel pants front pocket. If that fits, surely the Mate 20 X will.
I'm no Einstein...but...my hypothesis is.....it all depends on the size of the pocket, the tightness of your clothing's fit and your comfort level having a hard object in your pocket.
It fits in my American Eagle skinny jeans, it fits entirely in the front pocket and when it's in the back pocket it sticks out about an inch

Question Anyone else's Fold 3 running away?

I had the Flip before (traded in for the Fold 3 ). One thing I noticed was that without a case, the little blighter was constantly slipping away. If I put it on a chair arm, or on a smooth table even, it would find its way off pretty quickly.
I assumed this was because of the glass back, tbh, but the fold 3 is doing the same thing! I think the flip was doing it because the centre of gravity was that much higher when folded, but this thing pivots on the camera lenses even when open, swings about and whosh, off it goes! I'm exaggerating, but it moves pretty quickly.
Anyone else finding this problem?
Lol, you never owned a N10+ It's smooth, slippery and the only thing it likes more than face planting is corner hitting when it falls. A good case is all that's saved it.
The Fold is hard to case. Maybe a pouch or bdu pants cargo pockets and dedicated safe places to set it down. A tether is another possibility if you can integrate/adapt to it; even though I can I find it clumbersome and in the way.

Even before I had a case on it, I never had that issue. I did find it a little bit slippery to carry folded without the case, but I absolutely love the thickness of it for carrying it folded - much easier than a thin phone. My case is textured leather (supposedly), so has a good grip on it for carrying it folded and unfolded.
This phone defies gravity. I've never had a device magically slip out of my pockets like this before. I do love the phone though, I need a grip tape skin.
Add a case, issued fixed.
lol hahaha They've been slippery since Steve Jobs showed up 14 YEARS AGO.

How To Guide How to keep your case on the front of the phone

Alright, after months of trying to nail this problem down I finally have a good solution!
I've tried a few different cases on my fold3 and none of them really held well on the top screen when folded and in my pocket. It would start sliding off. So I finally have a solution. Get yourself some good double sided tape (I suggest some type of 3m tape This for example) and measure you a piece of tape that is length of the case that touches the phone that isn't on the screen. Then take a sharp knife and cut a very thin strip of tape. Put that strip on your case and then put the case on the phone. Press hard and hold it there for a bit and then BAM it's not going anywhere again. If it's done right it will not be noticable (see pics I've attached) unless you look closely it's really clean and nice looking to me.
In the pictures you can see the black strip of tape that came with the case that wasn't super useful but what useful was my piece of tape.
I have been lucky in that my cases have not had this issue, but I agree, if you need too, there is no shame in using tape to keep this thing protected.
Just use good quality stuff.
This is the stuff I have and I LOVE IT... https://smile.amazon.com/25Meter-Double-Adhesive-Display-Housing/dp/B071D5CKCX
Good solution, just easy.
Unfortunetly fold series and other folded devices need specially cover.
I have fold 2 1,5 year and few covers:
Ringke slim. Good cover but even pieces of double tape after take off i saw particles of dust and sand.
Next i bought Spigen armor pro. Great protection but a lot of bulky and even mount with force for good fit after few weeks and take off i saw few white dots on the frame from probably few particles sand.
It was little frustrating because I always to take care my devices and carry without any other stuff in my pocket.
4 days ago i told "stop" covers with use tape for hold on the device.
Without case fold is really beautifull and touch metal in every time is really pleasant .
I read topics on reddit about "caseless fold devices" and a lot of people have enjoy use folds without case.
After that I use my device only with original leather back cover, without front cover.
Admittedly 2 days ago drop my fold from pocket on the floor. It drop edge front frame but after that is only scratch and rest device survive well
I have béen using a dab of clear silicone sealant. Holds well, and comes off by rubbing it with a cloth.
After a few months of searching, I just gave up and use whichever is the slimmest case without an adhesive. It made more than a few scratches on the side of my screen and I just decided not to give a crap about it, it doesn't go over the main screen anyway.
