You may need to manually add APN settings. Go to Network & Internet > Mobile Data > Access Point Names. If there's nothing there, google the APN settings for your carrier and add them.

Have you tried to check if the imei is still there?
Or is the network locked
In the first case, you must have a qcn imei backup to restore
If you are locked from the network, you must have a tool to unlock it to use the network in Vietnam
I'm Vietnamese and I used to have the same problem, but normally install another rom, but Vietnamese's machine will still use the network normally, unless your device is Korean, American, ..

i know it =)))
you should replace v35 with laf_a or laf_b depending on the original rom in slot_a or b
Remember to only replace v35 in 1 slot
When booting the device, just hold the volume up key to enter the unlocked fastboot, in my experience that's it
And to explain why you get bootloop is because...when unlocking in this way, the bootloader of the device is only unlocked in half, only when unlocked via LG's main page can it be fully opened, so when replacing v35 in abl_a_b then some machines will have a bootloader conflict (this one, I don't know the reason ) and bootloop

About LineageOS:
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the Suicide Squirrel and LineageOS Github repos.

Its clearly stated in this OP.
I Installed it yesterday, so far almost everything works out of the box, I've tested:
-4G LTE
-Roaming
-Phone Calls
-Wi-fi
-Bluetooth
-GPS
-Both cameras
The only thing that doesn't work is the flashlight button in the quick settings, although it works in the camera app.
I was unable to test NFC and wireless charging since I no longer have the original back cover.
As a side note, it fails Google's Safety Net even after completely removing root support from LOS, so banking apps are gonna be an issue.

As long as this ROM is in permissive mode you will never pass safety net for sure. This is listed in the known issues in the OP. Torch is a known issue as well and have been added to the same link of the OP. As far as I know NFC will not work in any custom ROM at least it doesn't even in aoscp

Installed on my VS986 running MM 27c with 2BA bootstack (as in FAQ #20; verified FAQ #26)
No Gapps yet, but did flash SuperSU.
Booted quickly, no bootloops.
Tested camera, browser on Wi-Fi… looks good so far!
But, as usual there is no cell service- the phone isn’t seeing the SIM card.
This is the first LOS Oreo that would boot for me, so thank you!

Detailed installation procedure :
If you are coming from Stock Firmware and have encryption enabled, format DATA
Wipe CACHE, DALVIK/ART CACHE and SYSTEM.
Flash crDroid 7.x zip
Flash nick gapps basic
Reboot system
First boot
Flash magisk image from Ivan'slink (select flash image in twrp and flash. img file to "boot")
Reboot system
Open magisk and follow the wizard
Hit the thx button and donate if you can
Important notes :
MAGISK : never update magisk when the app asks you to. Instead wait for Ivan to upload the new boot image
ONEUI3: As of OneUI 3 your device needs to be connected to a PC via USB cable in order to be able to
boot recovery via Volume Up, Bixby and Power.
FAQ :
Q: My device is in bootloop, I can't acces download mode or recovery, no combo works, how do I get out ?
A: You can try following:
- Plug your phone in the PC with the USB cable. Then press/hold Bixby + Volume Down and hopefully it will boot to download-mode.
Otherwise try (still plugged in) force shutdown/restart by pressing/ holding Volume Down + Power - as soon as the screen turns off shift to pressing/ holding Bixby + Volume Down for download-mode. Try it at few times as its all about timing.
- If still no luck, unplug your phone and let the battery run out. Then press/hold Bixby + Volume Down and plug in to get to download-mode. This may take some time as the phone needs to recharge a little before it reacts.
- Once in download-mode flash your software before the update via Odin - I would use Home_CSC first trying to save your data.
Q: I lost root after proceeding with latest OTA update. What do I do?
A: flash magisk boot image again just like you did on the first flash (see procedure above).
Q: How do I update magisk ?
A: Wait for Ivan to upload the new boot image here then flash according to the detailed steps above
Q: Can I update Magisk from within the Magisk manager app or by flashing updated magisk .zip ?
A: No. Doing this would create a bootloop, Instead wait for Ivan to upload the new boot image here
Q: Dialer not appearing, no possibility to pick up calls or hang up
A: not related to rom (it's a nick gapps issue)
There's a fix : flash nick gapps "basic" and no other flavor

It's working great for me thanks for this. The issues I had were when using the stock gapps package. If it overwrites the one included in the rom the phone won't work. Wiping and flashing rom with basic Niki gapps resolved the issue though in case anyone else gets that issue.
Running great so far! Only one bug:
When always on display is turned off, unlocking the devices takes an extra second. When the always on display is on, it unlocked instant. Hope that can be fixed.
Somehow it's fixed now, I don't know what caused it, changed a lot of settings
Thank you for this great rom @turbolukex5 no bugs so far working great. Is there any way to change fingerprint icon in your rom?

Can you elaborate on how you unlocked the bootloader on the Snapdragon variant? I waited 7 days, but the oem unlock option is still not showing.

Thank you very much @afaneh92, I followed the procedure and was able to install TWRP and magisk, and everything is working fine.
The only thing that I'm not able to do is to re-encrypt the phone at the end. The encription procedure starts, but then it is stuck for hours on the "encrypting..." screen and nothing happens. I tried to temporarily remove magisk and also to restore the recovery partition, but nothing seems to work. Do you know if there is any workaround?

Thank you for the answer. My idea was to make a TWRP image once I completely personalized the system and then encrypt the device, but I understand that it's not possible...
So the alternative solution is to find a way yo make an image of the encrypted device after the personalization...
Is there a way to make an image of the encrypted data partition apart from using dd? Since it is encrypted with fbe I was wondering if there's a method which doesn't require to save the whole partition but only the actual (encrypted) files.

Flashed the GMS version of this ROM yesterday (returned to stock without locking the bootloader first) and things have been running great. Passes SafetyNet, got Google Wallet setup successfully for payments, and battery life seems very very good so far. Thank you for your work on this @IonutGherman!

They seem to be working? Voice network type in settings shows as LTE, and WiFi calling has been working the whole time. I'm on Google Fi, if that makes a difference.

Nope, no magisk or root or anything. Just flashed the GMS version of the ROM and installed Wallet from the Play Store, and it's working fine. Have also had issues on other ROMs with Microsoft apps not working because of an unlocked/rooted device, but Teams + Intune are working well so far.

I am hoping to move to this ROM cause my current ProtonAOSP based custom ROM seems to have been abandoned and would really appreciate if anybody running the ROM currently help me with the following:
1) what launcher does it use? If a custom one, can I recreate the pixel experience on it?
2) where is it security wise (selinux, encryption, bootloader etc)? Will I be able to use my bank apps & Google pay? I don't intend to root
3) what does "Reboot to another slot and repeat." for wipe means? I didn't have to do that for the current ROM. I already have TWRP installed.

you loose DRM once you unlock the bootloader,
I don't think there is a way to get widevine L1 back on unlocked bootloader
Thanks for making this. I had Docomo device and this is the only flash-able ROM at the moment.
If possible, may I request a brightness slider on statusbar? Not on quick settings. Its where you just slide anywhere on the statusbar to control the phone brightness. I miss this feature.
Also, whenever I pull down the quick settings, it feels quite jerky/lagging. Is it just me?
I only have like 5 tiles.

Hello,
I would like to know, if the known Front micriphone Software issue is fixed in this OS Form?
Thanks. EW
Thanks for your awesome work!To my surprise, the touching bug that has been bothering me for long seemed to has disappeared after burning this ROM.
Excellent ROM! Thank you so much for making this, I can now finally actually Use my XZ2 Compact.
One small problem - and it might just be me, but I can't seem to get 4G connectivity, only 3G/H+. I checked the bands this device has and I should be able to get a 4G connection with the provider I use in Australia but no luck. Not a big deal right now as 3G hasn't been shutdown here (yet) but just wanted to see if anyone else who uses this ROM has the same issue.
