I updated main post with sources

Flashed the GMS version of this ROM yesterday (returned to stock without locking the bootloader first) and things have been running great. Passes SafetyNet, got Google Wallet setup successfully for payments, and battery life seems very very good so far. Thank you for your work on this @IonutGherman!

They seem to be working? Voice network type in settings shows as LTE, and WiFi calling has been working the whole time. I'm on Google Fi, if that makes a difference.

Nope, no magisk or root or anything. Just flashed the GMS version of the ROM and installed Wallet from the Play Store, and it's working fine. Have also had issues on other ROMs with Microsoft apps not working because of an unlocked/rooted device, but Teams + Intune are working well so far.

I don't have issues with my provider, Orange Romania. Maybe wait a couple of minutes until SMS is sent.

After tap SMS button almost immediately appears "Not send, tap to try again", after 10 taps always the same result "Not send, tap to try again"

I am hoping to move to this ROM cause my current ProtonAOSP based custom ROM seems to have been abandoned and would really appreciate if anybody running the ROM currently help me with the following:
1) what launcher does it use? If a custom one, can I recreate the pixel experience on it?
2) where is it security wise (selinux, encryption, bootloader etc)? Will I be able to use my bank apps & Google pay? I don't intend to root
3) what does "Reboot to another slot and repeat." for wipe means? I didn't have to do that for the current ROM. I already have TWRP installed.

1) crDroid Home
2) bank apps & Google pay works
3) some devices like Pixel 2XL have two slots, to change active slot you have to use command fastboot --set-active=a or fastboot --set-active=b, ask google for more

FAQ: Read me please.
1. I'm G8141, Can I use los?
For G8141, You can try to delete :

ro.telephony.default_network=9,0
in build .prop.
2. Google play service
Flash Opengapps or MindTheGApps by yourself. Or install MicroG.
3. Bootloop at Sony Logo
Try force-reboot.
If phone still bootloop, format cahce, system partition and flash zip again. DON'T flash gapps or Magisk. If you still bootloop, you may need to format userdata and make a clean installation.
4. I want Gcam
Los16 is based on stock blob, we are lack of support of RAW, so we can't support gcam.
4. I want longer battery time
We get full performance of CPU and GPU by default, you can try to limit the frequency of CPU.
4. I meet random reboot
Try to format userdata partition and make a clean installation. For G8142, you can try to disable Enhanced 4G LTE Mode in Mobile network. This will disable IMS, but more stable.

EDIT: well fingerprint does work the the US version. But i get random freezes and reboots with for no reason when my sim card is in.

You need to rebuild the whole Los from source code.
After the system is stable, I will release the device tree. But I wouldn't add Chinese to the ROM on XDA before they stop selling my ROM.

Have you tried to check if the imei is still there?
Or is the network locked
In the first case, you must have a qcn imei backup to restore
If you are locked from the network, you must have a tool to unlock it to use the network in Vietnam
I'm Vietnamese and I used to have the same problem, but normally install another rom, but Vietnamese's machine will still use the network normally, unless your device is Korean, American, ..

i know it =)))
you should replace v35 with laf_a or laf_b depending on the original rom in slot_a or b
Remember to only replace v35 in 1 slot
When booting the device, just hold the volume up key to enter the unlocked fastboot, in my experience that's it
And to explain why you get bootloop is because...when unlocking in this way, the bootloader of the device is only unlocked in half, only when unlocked via LG's main page can it be fully opened, so when replacing v35 in abl_a_b then some machines will have a bootloader conflict (this one, I don't know the reason ) and bootloop

I have both of the screenshots you shared also. But the option to choose fingerprint as an unlock method has just disappeared. Not sure why. I upgraded from the updater app cr droid provides. How did you update?

Right. There shouldn't be a print. First you need to select the unlock/encryption method. This is the method if the fingerprint doesn't work.

Great, thank you for your clarification. I still face an issue after adding my fingerprint. That the fingerprint doesnt show on lockscreen. It shows only the pin unlock. So probably there something wrong in my update. I will try clean install and let you know.

I just tried this and it all works except the Camera. When trying to open it, I'm getting
Camera keeps stopping

Any idea why that might be?

Confirmed working. Thanks!
I'm using Official LineageOS 18.1, and now I'd like to install LOS19. But adb sideload los.zip no response for a long time. even use pure LOS recovery or twrp. In LOS recovery, 'Verifying update package...', In twrp, just keep rolling progress bar. Adb command interface no response. I can use Ctrl+C to cancle it.
I downloaded a software from Chrome. When I try to install it.The system rebooted.

yup, it's verifying, leave it and wait for it - or try a different cable.
One stupid question:
As per the instructions here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/walleye/upgrade
to upgrade from 18.1 to 19.1... Is it enough to just sideload the 19.1 zip file with adb? . Is it not a requirement to have flashed the correspondent recovery image for 19.1 beforehand (like in a normal first-time LOS installation)?

However, I personally do reccoemnd lineage recovery, so I'd flash 19.1 recovery then start

OK, flashed 19.1 recovery, then sideloaded LOS19.1.zip as per the official guide... everything worked fine, phone rebooted in Android 12.
Testing here and there, everything seems to work fine. The camera app seems to have downgraded to just very basic features compared to the cam app in LOS 18.1. Thanks for that, I will report back if I notice some issue, but so far all good.

The phone was nearly become a brick because of the laptop. I thought it caused by Anti-Virus software. Then I used another pc to finish the installing. LOS 19 has some small issue in inform displaying, should be fixed in coming future.

1, Settings -> Storage -> App usage size incorrect. Initial shown system used 14GB space, after some time(now), System 8.2GB, 'Open Camera' 5.56GB of User Data. The first time I found this issue was that after installing Nova Launch. I tried clear it's app data, not work, then I uninstalled it. Now, the space transfer to Open Camera. Uninstalling doesn't change the total usage ( The app is too small ).
2, Settings -> About Phone -> IP address, always 26.26.26.1 and da26:2626::1. I'm sure it's not my IP.
3, I use V2rayNG which is a VPN service. It has a quick setting Tiles. At once I reboot the phone and enabled v2rayNP from Tiles while the service was still off. Then I found registered VPN service disappeared from settings -> network -> vpn.

1. I have no idea why your apps report huge size. That's not a Lineage thing tho.
2. That's... Odd what router do you have?
3. That is definitely an app bug, VPNs work here.
1.As you see, Open Camera show a huge size. But actually, at first, the size was normal. Well, before Open Camera, it was Nova Launcher. It just need some time that the LOS make it so.
2. I'm in China, and I use a VPN service built by myself but it's not located in US. 26.26.26.1 is a US IP, right?
Should I make a clean LOS install? I'm not sure after the adb no response accident, has something went wrong? I don't want to download & backup & restore, that's horrible.
Hi,
I've just installed this ROM. Thanks for the work !
I just have a problem with the customization menu in the settings. The activity is crashing instantly.
It's the menu "Fond d'écran et style" in french (don't know the exact name in english :s).Tthe one allowing to change home and lockscreen background.
Is it working for you ?

Is this crdroid A13 ufs or erofs file system?
there a way to turn off the camera in status bar notifications? the option is grayed out compared to crdroid8. just dont like seeing the persistant cam icon in stats bar. other than that the ROM is solid! long awaited!
Any potential issues with using Omni, Stock, or one of the other Nikgapps releases instead of core?
Ldac stuttering anyone?
Any issues with live display color saturation resetting?
Then again, this whole thread is people asking questions and not getting answers. Everyone has left XDA for telegram

Well fact is that I know have my own custom Nikgapps installment, but all should work as long as gapps package doesn't replace core system apps (Launcher is one good example)

what carrier?
maybe update modem?
Currently found issues:
- Video playback in some apps (youtube, google photo's, instagram) require you to clear the apps from recents before video works.
- Phone crashes for some reason when locked, requires to force restart it (happens once every other day).
If there's a hotfix available, let me know.

Hi! Airtel is the Cellphone Carrier. It got connected after 15 mins after resetting the accesspoint settings multiple times and after restarting twice. Mobile Data would Switch on; but, once you exit that section and re-enter the mobile data settings area, the 'Mobile Data' switch seems to be reset to off mode.

Updated from 8.10. Everything works except for Gboad, It will simply not load at all on any app. Got a third party keyboard from the play store using voice command. Other than that, 5g was a little slow today, but that may be Tmobile.
Thanks for the Rom.

Yes, it is. I have same phone unlocked to Verizon. The only bug I noticed is, I have to set notification tone to mute otherwise when I receive a text the tone goes off constantly. The fix is to just change the messages app tone from default to whatever tone you want to use.
