[SGSI][Pie][Semi-bugless]MIUI 11

Welcome to MIUI sGSI For Galaxy J7 2017
TESTED ON J730X
Some information you should know..
This is a fully working MIUI sGSI with Android version 9.0
If you want to report a Bug, read the F.A.Q First Then provide a logCat OR LoggingKit.zip with detailed explanation
Read the instructions and the F.A.Q Before installing the rom or posting a reply.
I don't own any files here, except patch files.
So, we are here with sGSI. It's normally called "unstable" and "not for daily usage" so users are recommended to go for GSI. But GSI lacks features and has AOSP-like design that some users may be bored of that. And now we finally break that law. sGSI can now be used as daily drivers.
As the nature of these sGSI go, it was a non stop battle for almost 3 weeks straight to get it to this point where all features are working as expected. if you appreacite this work Hit the Thanks button
RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the instlal steps, the rom has been tested throughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). If you do face a new bug however, dont just say "hey bug here" provide more information, and a LOGCAT, bug reports without logcats will most likely be ignored.

FAQ:
Good idea to read this F.A.Q While the rom is installing
Notes:
Q : Brightness bar not working / Camera doesn't work
A : You have flashed Spaget X instead of Spaget 3.0. Reinstall again
Q : Phone doesn't detect any SIM cards
A : Flash latest Cronos/KRAKEN kernel
Q : Everything on my screen is so small [J730 only]
A : Go to Settings > Developer settings > Set screen density to 411
Q : I got front camera stretch
A : Change resolution from 16:9 to 4:3
Q : Can I use front flashlight?
A : No, Samsung has their own libs, for now no apps can use front flashlight. Back flashlight still works
Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations
Q : the phone wont install any apps
A : Reboot
One more
does the rom have some type of error for daily use
VoLTE : Not work, need flash Magisk Module and using Phone App to VoLTE work
All work normal, just a Android Pie but like Android Q MIUI :good:
Great work
The first boot is so longer? I've waiting more than 10 minutes and don't boot. Or is bootloop?
And i've not found the MIUI-Patch.zip, only sGSI-Patch.zip
What android version is this? Can i flash the official magisk? There's no camera stretch bug? Like other gsi rom?

Updated FAQ and sGSI patch. I forgot to add an important fix in patch, so anyone using this MIUI, reflash the new patch right now :good:
I tried again, followed all the steps as requested. On the first boot, I restarted the phone after approximately 30 seconds. But I still bootloop. I'm using Project Spaget 3.0, but I can't find a topic in the forum. Could you send me your Project Spaget zip file?
My logcat is on attachments
nfc not working. I installed the fix on the twrp and it failed, I had to install the fix when I started the cell phone so that it did not give me an error and it appears as a module installed in magisk but it does not work

[DISCONTINUED][TWRP BACKUP-ROM][10] Lightheart 1.0 Galaxy S10 [24.10.2020]

Lightheart 1.0 - Efficiency is key.
Hi everyone. My name is Skulldron and for those of you who do recognise me, know me as the creator of Project Pixel, another one of the greatest ways to emulate the Pixel Experience, whilst keeping all the benefits of using OneUI and its stock optimized drivers as its base. Today I'm going to be introducing something, different. Over the years of working on Touchwiz based ROMs, I've learnt the description of every little apk, every little permission, what it accepts and what it rejects, its pros and its cons. As a result of this experience, I have one of the best debloat lists out there, with each item on the debloat list, being tested, literally through trial and error for over 4 years, and it goes over every file and every partition known in the OneUI OS. This exact same debloat script was used in Project Pixel, which has recieved positive review after positive review for how efficient and how lightweight OneUI became after the debloat. Today however, I present to you Lightheart OS, a new project that I will be building myself and updating monthly (as I do own an actual Galaxy S10). Lightheart, is essentially built equal to Project Pixel, except that instead of Pixelifying and adding another gigabyte worth of apks, permissions and modules, just stops after the debloating and optimization bit. I have done something similar with the Galaxy Tab S2, and it was called Performante, but it was even more stripped on features than I would have liked myself, so today I showcase Lionheart, the Lineage OS to my Cyanogenmod.
Features:
1. Heavily Debloated System Size - The overall size of the system partition has dropped from 5.2 GB to 3.2 GB, along with RAM consumption dropping from 4.2 GB on stock, to 3.1 GB on Lightheart.
2. Heavily Debloated Product Partition - All bloat has been removed/deprecated from the Product Partition dropping its size from 592 MB to 78 MB
3. Better Battery Performance due to Efficiency - With the removal of an incredible amount of bloat, along with better performance and lesser services, you should be looking at better SOTs and better standby times.
4. Better Performance due to the Cruel Custom Kernel - The Cruel Kernel Team have been kind enough to give me permission and access to their kernel, which in itself has many optimizations, along with the allowance to achieve higher system speeds and overclockabilty via Mtweaks (Needs to be installed seperately, I will provide a link)
5. Preloaded Magisk with Cruel - Cruel Kernel comes preloaded with Magisk, all you have to do is install the Magisk Manager
6. October Patch with the promise of updates every month - As I use this rom as my own daily driver, i will update it every month to keep up with optimizations by Samsung and security patches.
7. Restored some stock Google Permissions - Some stock google framework was restored, such as the default setup wizard.
8. All Essential Samsung Features have been kept - All essential OneUI features have been kept alive, for the sole purpose of necessity.
9. Completely Deknoxed - It is covered under the debloat
Changelog:
1.0 - Initial Release
TWRP Install Instructions:
1. Download the latest available TWRP Image from Ianmcd's thread (the current supported version is 3.4.0.3 and will be linked at the bottom of the thread)
2. Download the custom VBmeta file and install 7Zip.
3. Rename the downloaded TWRP Image as recovery.img.
4. Highlight both the vbmeta.img and recovery.img, then right click while selected, 7Zip and then add to archive.
5. Once your in the 7zip interface, choose .tar and do not change any of the configurations and build the .tar file.
6. For this next bit, you'll need to download Odin 14.4 (links will be provided)
7. Open Odin, and then connect your device via USB.
8. Select AP, and then select the newly made recovery.tar.
9. Once it is loaded, press start, and when it reboots, hold the recovery combination (Power + Volume Up + Bixby) to boot into TWRP.
You have now successfully installed the latest TWRP for your S10 and can now proceed to actual install. Remember that if you are coming from stock you will need to flash the MultiDisabler, linked at the end of the thread.
Install Instructions (THIS ROM IS NOT FLASHABLE!):
1. Download Lightheart 1.0.
2. Open the zip and extract the folder.
3. Switch off your phone, and go into twrp via the button combination.
4. Make a backup of your cache (This will make the directory to TWRP's recovery system)
5. Boot back into the OS and head to where you stored Lightheart 1.0.
6. Cut the entire Lightheart Folder and move it to TWRP/BACKUPS/Random Number/
7. Now boot back into TWRP and wipe system, data, dalvik, cache.
8. Go to the restore option, and you should see Lightheart as a restorable ROM.
9. Restore Lightheart and once your done, boot into system
And thats about it for the install process. It is a bit unconventional, but I have been unable to procure or manufacture a working installer script as of this moment, so please bear with me for now.

I encourage you to ensure to provide sufficient support on XDA. Please check the telegram sticky for more info. Also since this is essentially a TWRP backup I've edited your thread title to indicate this as this should be clear from the get go. Do not re-edit that again unless you're able to have the rom be flashable. Thank you and all the best of luck with your project.
Awesome !! Love it so far. Nice performance, genshin impact is not dropping frames like on other oneui ROMs.
Keep up the good work

Hi,
I would like to use your rom if it means longer battery life. However I have no knowledge of rooting or flashing a galaxy S10 phone. I'm not afraid of the terminal but I'm afraid of loosing access to KBC mobile or Google Pay or any other app that is financially or government involved.
Is it because you say deknoxed that it will have problems with such apps or quite the opposite ?
Another question is, Can Jodin3 be used as well? I only have access to MacOS.
Forgive my English, it's not my mother language.
Kr,
Don't do anything with your phone then if you don't want to loose Google pay etc...
hi ,thx 4 ur hard work, sorry 4 a NOOB question: i have an s10 which is G973N, can i flash this rom?

As long as its not G973U, it should work but I advise caution when flashing a ROM which is not the same model
So far this Rom ist great, the lack of the samsung account makes setting up some apps a bit difficult, but other than that this is awesome!
How are temperatures on this debloated rom?

[ROM][A515F/DS][OneUI 3.1 - S20 Port] Just4Fun v1

HELLo everyone...
After several weeks, months and before Android 12 released, i decided to share this ROM to this A51 community. Hopefully you guys enjoy it and don't offend me if the ROM is bad, so....let's get it ON.
Things to do before flashing:
1. Make sure you're on binary 5 (this ROM tested and using binary 5 vendor, so to avoid any broken or whatever error flash your device with latest firmware).
2. Backup your IMEI (highly recommended).
Flashing:
1. Clean flash is recommended. Flash kernel, flash J4F vendor and system.img, flash multy disabler (if necessary) then full wipe and also you can perform "typing YES" format. Reboot to recovery again, then flash as usual you guys always do (Magisk etc.).
ROM Features from S20 and Note 20 line up:
1. Samsung Dex (not full features coz need fix at kernel level).
2. Flagship live blur
3. Flagship edge lighting style
4. AirCommand (S pen)
5. LiveDrawing
6. Multy screen resolutions (HD+ - FHD+ - WQHD+)
7. 1000++ system fonts
8. Flagship sound quality and effects
9. Camera features unlocked (pro video etc.)
10. All original A51 features
11. Common tweaks here and there and so many possibility to unlock another S20 features
Bugs:
Minor glitch in pro mode video, and not really remember and deep testing everything, but hopefully still acceptable (hopefully ) but yeah..nothing's perfect, if you found one let's discuss together in A51 telegram group: https://t.me/samsunga51
Hall of Fame:
@MrWaehere for his awesome CRB kitchen
@VDavid003 and his rom TreeUI for my inspiration and countless help
@Yillié and his OFox recovery and also countless help and advise and ideas
@BlassGO and his Dynamic Installer, patches, advise and countless contributions (thanks for making AirCommand even greater lol)
@manudinath and his projects.
@Winb33 for fonts mod
@topjohnwu for Magisk
@ianmacd for multy disabler and TWRP
Stock Kernel Source
PM me if i forgot to mention someone.
Advise and Tips:
- It's normal during first boot if lags occurs, give the ROM some times to settle, finish your setup, update your apps and you good to go..
- It's better to avoid update in Galaxy store related to system app, such as MDE Service Framework, Samsung Core Services etc. It might causing conflict due to mixed up firmware. But anyway it's up to you.
- Please do not complain regarding app missing (getting debloated) and related to debloat. Because it's very hard to acomodate every person's taste. Bloatware is very Objective and absurd for each person and I know it's supposed to be using Aroma installer or any script but i don't have time that much to do that.

NOTICE: The steps below will trip Knox & possibly void your Warranty; following these steps will perform a mandatory data wipe due to Bootloader status changes, so please make sure you back up any/all of your important files somewhere else other than your phone's storage.
STEP 1: UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER:
1. Enable Developer Options; you can do this by going to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information -> Tap "Build Number" 7 times and enter your phone's pin if prompted.
2. Open Developer Options and enable the "Allow OEM Unlocking" option.
3. Shut down your phone.
4. Connect your phone to your PC or connect your headphones to boot into Download Mode with the combination (HOLD VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN)
5. Press and hold the Volume up button (Bootloader unlock screen)
6. Once on the Bootloader unlock screen, press the Volume up button to confirm the unlock (WARNING: This action will perform a factory reset, and the phone may restart once or twice (this is normal), you will soon boot back into the Setup wizard, skip this initial setup there is no need to login to anything.)
7. Enable Developer options again (Follow Step 1) and check that the OEM toggle is enabled & greyed out.
8. Congratulations, you have unlocked the Bootloader and are ready to continue to the next step.
STEP 2: FLASHING TWRP + PATCHED VBMETA:
1. Download this TWRP+VBMETA file to your PC.
2. Boot your phone into Download Mode.
3. Single press Volume Up to start ODIN Mode
4. Load ODIN on your PC.
5. Go to options and untick "Auto Reboot..."
6. Select the (USERDATA) slot and select the downloaded file from Step 1.
7. Click start on ODIN and wait for it to finish.
8. Upon a pass, keep the phone connected to your PC or headphones, then hold the Power button + Volume down button; as soon as the screen goes black, hold the Power button and Volume UP button.
9. You should now be in TWRP.
STEP 3: INITIAL TWRP STEPS:
1. Do a complete data wipe (Wipe -> Format Data -> Type "yes")
2. Reboot back into RECOVERY (Reboot -> Recovery)
3. Download the latest Unbound release and copy it to your phone (PC to Phone) or a USB OTG device, or if you have SD Card, you could store it on that.
STEP 4: INSTALLING UNBOUNDROM:
1. In TWRP, click "Install" if using a USB OTG device, press "Select storage", and press "USB OTG" or "SD Card" if using an SD Card.
2. Browse to the location you stored the ROM zip.
3. Swipe to confirm the flash.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions, select your desired features, and wait for the ROM to install.
5. When the ROM has finished installing, press "Save Logs" to send to the Developer if you bump into any issues.
6. Reboot into the System.
7. Do the setup wizard as usual.
8. Congratulations, you have successfully installed UnboundROM and are good to go! Enjoy!
Spoiler: Other ROM to UnboundROM
CLEAN FLASH (RECOMMENDED)
1. Boot into TWRP
2. Load UnboundROM zip
3. In Wipe Options, select "Clean Install"
4. Follow the on-screen instructions, and wait for UnboundROM to be installed.
5. Boot into the System.
DIRTY FLASH (NOT RECOMMENDED)
A dirty flash may or may not work, as we cannot guarantee that flashing UnboundROM over the top of another ROM will cause any issues; so, therefore, we do not recommend it, but of course, it is your device and your responsibility so please feel free to make your own choice here but please do not come to our chats and complain about issues caused from a dirty flash over another custom ROM.
Spoiler: Unbound version update (V1.1 to V1.2 etc)
When updating versions of Unbound, it is very dependent on what version you are currently running and the version you want to update to, an example being if you are on V1.0 and want to update to V1.1, a dirty flash would be fine unless stated in the OP otherwise.
However, if you say you are upgrading the OS version, i.e. OneUI 4 to OneUI 5, you would need to update your device to the latest firmware first via SamFirm/Frija/hadesFirm etc.
Please take note of the changelogs of each version as they will state the requirements to update and if a clean flash will be required or not.
When a dirty flash is impossible, and you need to update your device to the latest/specified firmware, please follow the recommended steps below. These steps will assume you are already running UnboundROM:
1. Download the latest/required firmware using either samFirm, Frija or hadesFirm
2. Unzip the firmware zip and remove the .md5 from the end of each file name.
3. Boot your phone into download mode, load Odin, turn off Auto reboot options, and load the files into the relevant slots. ( BL = BL, AP = AP, CP = CP, CSC = HOME_CSC) (IT IS IMPORTANT TO USE "HOME_CSC" TO KEEP YOUR DATA INTACT)
4. Press start, and wait for it to complete.
5. When complete, keeping the phone connected to the PC, boot your phone into TWRP, and load the latest/downloaded rom.zip
6. Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the ROM to be installed.
7. When the installation is complete, press the "Save Log" button in case of any issues.
8. Congratulations, you have successfully updated your version of UnboundROM. Boot to the System and enjoy!

Give SoT some time, only released yesterday.
Unbound is full S21 Firmware, Beyond is stock rom with root.
I could not get secure folder to work. Is there a patch?
Will romcontrol be in the plans?
For people who are not familiar with intricacies of Galaxy line firmwares - what are differences between S20 and S21 firmware? What is the benefit of switching it?
So, everything works? All cameras, 120Hz, Google Pay?
I'm inclined to try it, but my phone is well configured now, so i'm a bit sceptical.

Thank you for this! I'll try flashing it later

I hate google too
Shame Samsung firmware heavily relies on Google.
I dont get how some people think theyre somehow "winning" by getting rid of google...i have never understood it...all youre literally doing is making your device, and therefore life, less functional
Reminds me of that ROM some dev cooked up for my old Pixel 2XL and other devices that was so paranoid focussed that on their FAQ it actually said to wear baseball caps to avoid detection in real life and keep your phone in a farady bag when not using it...im not even joking here
Personally all the same level of bonkers thought processes to me, seems like everyone who feels this way should go and join a militia in Michigan and bang on about the "new world order"
If you dont like google apps, then go and buy an iphone and see how much you like that.....ill keep your seat warm here for when you get back
Google isnt the problem, its what people cough up on social media and communications thats the problem....and i cant believe people havent figured this out by now...stop blaming google, they only use what you voluntarily give them...so please stop blaming Google, its your fault, stop sharing so much... some people cant help themselves, oversharing has become a cancer...
Me, ive been interconnected since BBS days, and to date theres not even one picture of me out there, or any of my personal info, probably because i dont think im important enough to bother people with my inane life...sadly this restraint is not shared by most of society...people like to vomit everything they do in life onto the web, with pictures
And then they want to bang on about privacy and the erosion of such
I weep for humanity, youre the problem...
Can guys that installed this rom write their opinion about it instead of writing "philosophy" about things that have nothing to do with the rom?

Development [S21 FE Full Port][August OneUI 4.1][Lite/Full ROM][Samsung A52s 5G]

The ROM is fully ported from S21 FE. It have remaster picture, add portrait to the picture, DEX(only wired or wireless), full live blur, highend animations, enhanced processing mode, camera/microphone toggle, higher PPI and working SecureFolder. Another good addons are permissive kernel (it improves the ROM smoothness by alot) and many other thing.
Lite vs FULL
Thus being said, i ve made 2 variants: One FULL ROM ( all importants smart features are untouched, just deleted some google and unndeeded samsung apps) and the LITE ROM (some smart features are gone | SMART CAPTURE is there | and another apps you will never know it existed in your ROM, lol).
BUGS
As for the BUGS, i have only two of them: portrait doesnt work in stock camera (you can use either after portrait mode in gallery, or just use this GCAM and its config) and Standalone DEX isnt working (better dont either enable it witin floating_feature as it will result in an unworking DEX on wired/wireles mode). If you find more, you tell me.
FLASHING PROCESS
For flashing it, use this TWRP image (use OTG for touch to work), flash my ROM, wipe data and reboot (make sure you ve patched your vbmeta before anything else | flash the patched boot and vbmeta before everything from the attachments).
If you don`t have any OTG cable, you can flash the super and boot inside the rom by using the fastbootd interface from this recovery. The steps are, flash the patched magisk boot and vbmeta from the attachments section, flash the provided recovery, unzip the ROM, unzip the super.img.xz using this 7-zip program, and flash using this google platform-tools kit.
All the files MUST BE FLASHED IN THE AP SLOT.
