Question Running the EU Rom on a TMO 9Pro; interested in testing the Public 12 beta - OnePlus 9 Pro

I'm currently on the latest build for OOS 11 on my converted TMO 9pro.
I saw the public beta testing build dropped earlier today. Of I flash that to my phone, can I then flash the TMobile modem to my phone to get cell signal again?
Thanks in advance.

No
you cant flash anything on the betas

just updated, works fine (also root works if you follow https://www.droidwin.com/root-android-12-via-magisk-patched-boot-img-without-twrp/)
for some reason I got service right after flash without flashing T-Mobile modem

Did you update via local update after downloading in Oxygen updater? Also, what ROM were you coming from before the beta?

Yes, I downloaded zip via updater and did it through local upgrade, came from 12.9.9 with the latest modem which I believe is 12.7.7

That is awesome. I did not know that you could do that being on the 12.9.9 rom. Did you have to wipe your device as well?

Question, what rom version is 12.7.7 and 12.9.9?

I think the 12.7.7 version mentioned is the version the modem is from. The 12.9.9 version is the OOS version.

Yes you can upgrade to the android 12 Beta . Also dual sim works with this version.

Were you on the EU: 11.2.9.9.LE15BA ROM or the 11.2.9.9.LE15AA one? Just want to make sure before I try this. I am on the BA version.

Yes this is very true how ever it not permanent if you ever msm back to TMobile software and try to flash back to EU modem will be lost
This is temporary thing
Awesome this lt works
Just keep in mind that this OB1 drop right after tMO said they where going to start beta testing 12 lol

Im on the NA variant but using tmobile. I will say a few things about the 12(2) beta. It works realllllly fast...until it doesnt. Sometimes you'll get glitches and when closing an app and clicking something else too fast I notice its almost like the window didnt close all the way and it opens up the app I just closed. Other than that the speed is fantastic. I do not like the OneColor OS though.. I LOVED OxyOS and this stuff is kinda...meh. Overall its stable enough to use as a daily driver (my opinion) but I wish it retained more of the oxy OS looks

Don't flash the modem. It bricks it on the beta.

So interesting thing. After unbricking back to EU I no longer need to flash the modem back onto the device? Still getting service no problem. (TMO)

[Q] Odin after ND8 upgrade

So this isn't really a problem for me yet, but yesterday I tried to flash MK3 with odin while on Stock ND8 because I was worried about having L710VPUDND8 which I got from here as a download, when the version Sprint is suppost to be rolling out is L710VPUCND8. Not sure why the OTA would differ from the one I got here, but anyways I tried flashing back to MK3 so I could just get the update when it was pushed to my cell and the flash failed after it got to the "aboot" part. Im wondering if this is because the version I have is higher then the version I want? And is there any way to circumvent this and go back to MK8. Also does anyone have any information about the difference between PUCND8 and PUDND8? Im worried because I want to make sure I get future updates such as 4.4.3 which Im sure they will come out with. So as you see its not really a problem right now, but could become one in the future possibly.

DO NOT ODIN MK3 IF YOU ARE ON ND8, flash a custom ROM if you wanna go to MK3, do not flash the firmware, and I doubt there will be anymore updates. This won't work because the Knox Bootloader won't let you downgrade your firmware and you can easily brick your device trying to do so.

Okay, so just install a custom recovery and use that to flash a zipped custom rom then use odin to flash MK3?

No you can't downgrade to MK3 firmware you will brick. Knox won't allow it. Install a custom recovery, flash an MK3 ROM if that's what you want, but you can't go back to factory MK3.

Okay, then the only thing left to ask is if you know of what the difference between PUCND8 and PUDND8 is? That is really my main concern. I just wanted to go back to mk3 to get the OTA update from sprint instead of from the zip file I downloaded from here. Could it be that Sprint made a mistake on their website showing L710PUCND8 when the version is actually PUDND8?

The PUC is based on Sprint's official OTA source code. PUD is based on Samsung source code for all Sprint devices (Virgin Mobile, Boost, etc). That is the only difference from what I understand.

Nor is your remark. XDA would be a much more pleasant environment if people would tend to themselves. Here, matter of fact, I'll thank your worthless post seeing as that's the only possible reason you could have for interjecting yourself into a conversation that had zero to do with you. Was glad to see him around, he has said before he doesn't mind some general chit chat in his threads so I simply said glad to see him, wth does that have to do with you! I have looked over your posts here and you offer little, welcome to my growing ignore list, I will make XDA enjoyable again for myself, 1 ignore at a time.

[ROM][KIW-L21] r3 - De-odexed, rooted and Xposed B130

Hi all!
By popular demand and so we can start delving a little deeper into customising our devices, I've prepared a de-odexed, rooted and Xposed ROM for our Honor 5Xs, based on the B130 build.
What does this mean?
De-odexed means that the apps no longer have a dependency on the framework files, so you can tweak them to your hearts content. This is a requirement for Xposed on the device too.
Rooted means root access is pre-installed, generally speaking required for Xposed.
Xposed means the Xposed framework is pre-installed. You simply need to download and install the Xposed APK from this thread.
For maximum Xposed compatibility, theming is disabled using the 'ro.config.hwtheme=0' setting in the /system/emui/base/prop/local.prop file. Change this back to '1' at your own risk, it may break Xposed horribly.
Before installing, make sure you take a full back up. Be aware that as the dex cache needs to be rebuilt for every app, the first boot after installation will take a long time. Really, a very long time. You SHOULD be able to dirty flash over stock.
Feel free to do with this ROM as you please, use as a base for your own custom ROM etc., but please give credit and don't just mirror the files directly.
This ROM is based on the B130 Custom ROM template.
DOWNLOAD - customromtemplate-5x-kiwl21-b130-r3-root-deodex-xposed.zip [romraid] - MD5: a2372d7e4bb9cbec9ba428c96e02b1b2

you can, but you won't gain anything. the update would be over written by the rom
the rom has to be rebuilt with the b140 base for it to work

Awesome! Thanks! Couple quick questions....
First, I see the file is clearly for the flat being G930V, but the androidfilehost says S7 Edge. Just want to make sure I'm downloading the correct file for the flat.
Second, this will do a complete wipe via odin, so everyone should backup all their wanted files before flashing, correct? Or is this the ota itself, that will not wipe everything?

He literally just dropped this on us 16 hours ago. He also just gave us something we can't get anywhere else right now. I think it's a bit premature and greedy to be asking about root already. You could flash the stock file in Odin then try this Nougat root method and let everyone know whether it worked:

Yes iwant uptade but as you in image I can't
Well if rooted you can't update with incremental updates in the USA ROM you only can do that with the EU ROM because they get a full ROM every time.
So I downloaded the EU ROM using oxygen updater App from play store then I used the OPLocalUpdate_For_Android12 App to force the update locally. The EU ROM looks the same to me so far but when we get a full ROM update in USA will switch back. Hope that helps

i bought the chinese OP11 , flashed to indian rom. but now can't update and even tried the local installer, was stuck in a bootloop then had to reset. Do i try the EU rom update or just wait for EU OS to be released? Do u have any stable links for EU os?

I honestly can't tell you what to do I have no experience with the Chinese version. I know when I used the oxygen updater App, it had all the versions of op11. All what the app does is download whatever you ask for. Then the local updater App will have that download to use as an option. Wether it will succeed or not that's a different story.
For me switching from the USA to EU ROM that way went without any problems. The EU ROM was 5.42GB so it's the full ROM. And I have been using phone all day today without noticing any different between them.
If you decide to give it a try. Please post results for others to know what to do. Good luck

When you have the china op11 with oos on it and you make an Update than you have after the Update to flash back an image from cos than when you flash this image not than you have bootloop.
